My husband and I stayed 3 nights at the Sheraton Four Points while visiting our son at UCLA. The hotel is located off of the 405 about 20 minutes drive from the university; it is near a large mall and convenient to many sites within LA. We had reserved a Deluxe king with breakfast and when we got there they wanted to give us a room with two queen beds and also did not have a note that our reservation included breakfast. The desk clerk made a couple of calls and figured it out. We got a room with king size bed and breakfast. It may not have been a Deluxe room because it was quite small. But the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was great a full hot breakfast including omelettes. Food was quite tasty; we weren't told that custom made waffles were not included and were charged $10 for an order of waffles...For the most part we were satisfied but the wait staff in the dining room is not friendly and could use better training. Overall it was a decent experience with a few snags, but we would stay there again because of the price/quality (on hotels.com !) and the convenience

This hotel was a nice getaway place to stay. There are no "extra" frills, but it is clean, friendly and located in an area that is close to everything. Marina, mall, restaurants etc The one downside for me was the small rooms. For the price we paid I expected much more We were hungry when we arrived and were pleased to find a bar downstairs that served appetizers and drinks and it was happy hour :)

The pictures from the website make this hotel appear much better than it actually is. It was conveniently located to the freeway, but that location made is very noisy at night when I was trying to sleep. The pool temp was too cold for a sunset swim, and I wish that they had a hot tub. The restaurant service was very slow even we were the only people in there. The food quality was below average, but our server was friendly and accommodating. The fitness center was very small, and was always packed during peak hours. It was very hot during our stay so people wanted to exercise inside. It was nice having two, queen beds instead of the standard double beds. This hotel is OK if you just need a place to sleep for one night or two, and was a little better quality than the low budget hotel chains.

I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Universal Studios and Disneyland. Location is very convenient to said parks and it's near JCPenney and Macy's mall if you want to go shopping. Also, there's a small Japanese restaurant around the corner of the hotel. What we like most is the cleanliness of the hotel plus the pool - I've never seen a cleaner pool such as theirs. If you plan to visit San Diego then drive around Hollywood - this is really the best location. LOVE the hotel and will definitely come back!!!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is over priced for the selection. It is not really in walking distance to any bars, just a diner. Also, the parking is a little silly. Overall the hotel was pretty decent...clean room, comfy beds and only about 10 minutes away from everything. The only negative was that you have to pay to park your car everyday, even if you're a guest. But, that's pretty much the norm in CA...and their price wasn't too bad...I think only $10 a day or so. The only other thing I would suggest is to definitely bring all of your paperwork...b/c every hotel we booked for our trip through the internet - the hotels tried to charge us more when checking out! Print out and bring everything with you!

I paid way too much for this hotel for what I got. I typically spend about $50 less on hotels that provide better service and comfort. Perhaps I was seduced by the name Four Points Sheraton, the three star rating, and the high reviews on Hotels.com. I did not care for the neighborhood (boring), I hate paying for parking in addition to inflated room costs and, seriously, you NEED to have a refrigerator in each room when you are charging so much. I don't mean to rant. The hotel was not horrible. It's just that you could spend half as much money and get the exact same room, but in a more convenient neighborhood, with a refrigerator, and a microwave, and a table to eat your meals. And free parking.

Stay was comfortable as long as you didn't watch TV. The sound on the TV would go up and down. Was quite annoying and no resolution from the maintenance help. I think the $10 a night for parking is rediculous. Not even a parking garage. Hotels.com should start listing hotels that charge for parking. The whole charge for parking is just a scam to make their room prices look better.

Neighborhood wasn't great, but there was a mall directly across the street which was very convenient. Close to airport, but quiet! Staff was very friendly. Internet in the room is free which was very helpful. FYI.. DO NOT USE DELUXE RENTAL CAR SERVICE unless you want $400 of your vacation money frozen. They charged the rental car fee and then froze an additional $400 of my vacation funds until the car was returned!! I only mentioned this because I found the rental car company on Hotels.com
