I've had to stay at several Sheraton Hotels. I'm always disappointed with rooms considering how much the nightly rates are. If it weren't for the conventions I attend that require me to stay on site, I would never choose to stay here. Internet is $10 a day per person or $3 an hour. Breakfast is not free either. No fridge. We like staying at the Sheraton but there was an odor that smelled like a dirty lavatory every time you entered the hotel. I suspect that it had something to do with the water falls inside the hotel but I'm not sure. I was definitely unfortunate as it took away from our overall experience.

lovely hotel, but this weekend was totally over run by young children for a sporting/hockey/football event. Too loud, too much late night activities, could never use the elevator because they were playing in them. Hotel was beautiful, rooms lovely, breakfast fantastic and rate was fabulous. Would definetely stay here again.

The reception was excellent with prompt friendlly handling of our reservation. Our suite was clean and comfortable.The location was great for accessing the city and nearby shopping. All the carpet I walked on needed replacing other than in the elevators. The food service was o.k. For the price through Expedia - it was a good value.

The hotel is gorgeous and the room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff courteous. I was only on the 4th floor, and could definitely hear enough noise late at night (midnight) and early in the morning (6AM) to keep me awake. If I visit again, I will ask for a room on a higher floor.

One of the more pleasant motel stays I have had this year. Following our stay here on Friday, we traveled on to St. Louis and stayed at the Hyatt in downtown St. Louis near the Arch. The room rate in St. Louis was much, much higher than what I paid in Des Moines and the Hyatt was definitely a "high end" facility w/outstanding support staff and over-all […] accommodations. I was pleased with the room, overall, however it would have been nice to have a mini-microwave available..... a heat lamp in the bathroom.....and the correct coffee filters for the cup of coffee. The filters were for the 3-cup coffee makers.

We have been very pleased with the service and comfort of the hotel. On our most recent stay, Our room was clean but hadn't been inspected and the staff suggested an upgrade. Our overnight stay became a mini vacation for 2 adults and 2 kids in a 2 room suite. I'm always happy with this hotel!

The rooms did not have a mini fridge to store your leftovers from the restaurant, nor did it have usb power outlets to charge your devices. The breakfast did NOT come with the room as it was suppose to and on top of that, the breakfast didn't start until 7am, which is too late when you have to be somewhere at 7:30.
