Nice Hotel, try and get the west wing of the hotel, they are older rooms, even the delux rooms were dated......but large rooms, great for families. Incredibly slow service, often didn't understand our requests but didn't check until they brought the wrong order. Lots of staff knocked on my door at odd times for no apparent reason. Otherwise it was a lovely hotel in a great location.

First, I love the location, walking distance from Bukit Nanas monorail station and Dangwanggi station. And, our family had a great time in a big swimming pool. Breakfast was also nice with a lot of foods. Want to stay again this hotel, if I come again KL.

Very nice hotel. Great location ! Petronas twin towers are 10 min walking distance with plenty of shops and food options. Across the street is the visitor information services, so they can even arrange tours for you =) The service is very good. The breakfast is great! many options and good food quality. Also the pool is very nice.

Renaissance KL was tried out for a night and we all liked it. Only negative experience was time for check-in which took nearly 40 minutes for the 4 rooms I had booked. That is just too long! Pool area, service in general and room were all good. We will be back!

Very near to KLCC, about 5min walk, and near to MonTrail. Room is clean. Kind of regret that I did not book the room facing the twin tower. Breakfast is good, lots of choices. The only problem is that, the hotel does not have airport shuttle bus or free internect access,although Expedia booking system showed both of them are in my reservation. Awesome hotel. Located next to huge mall and tons of places to eat. Service was excellent. Toilet pressure was low, and carpet had a few things on it around the bed. Other than that I was extremely satisfied and would definitely stay there again.

Its a really beautiful building and feels luxiourios booth in the reception hallway and in the room. If your lucky you will get a room with view over petronas tower. Only a 5-7 min walk to petronas towers. The gym and pool area is really nice and the staff friendly. I really recomend it..

Also wouldn't recommend booking trips or asking advise from the hotel on where to go in terms of bars or restaurants, found better on my own. There are 2 lobbies. One/ of it the Executive suites wing is neat and very appealing. Quiet expensive. Picked this hotel because we wanted 1 day lying around a pool. It was perfect. Monorail to tourist locations (shopping, chinatown) is just across the road. Hotel is 5 minute walk to Petronis Towers. Tourist Centre is across the road. I felt very safe here and everything was clean and tidy. Recommend including breakfast in your hotel accommodation - […] it is fantastic with a huge selection including clean fresh fruit. Other restuarants in hotel are expensive compared to local places but what I would pay if in Australia. I just knew there were local restuarants for about 1/2 the price, but I recommend having a good look at conditions before you enter. If you are tired and what guarantee good food, do the buffet 'Vogue' (?) at the hotel, beautiful desserts. The room had a huge king size bed, clean and spacious bathroom, great air conditioning (very important for KL) and plenty of windows with a great view of the Petronis towers and KL tower. This hotel is very near a monorail stop that made it easy to get around. It is also near Petronas Towers. Our room had a view of the towers that are beautiful, especially at night. The hotel has two towers. We were in a room that was not remodeled yet but was comfortable and large enough. Good internet connection too.

Hotel is in good location with poor service and very poor lounge facilities. Bar / lounge was well away from the lobby-not enough seating in lobby area. Breakfast buffet had good choice but not well stocked. Much better hotels available in the area.

Only downside was that room cleanliness didn't quite meet Western standards. Regarding in-room minibar and snack prices - be sure to check them in advance so you're not surprised later - they're closer to Western hotel prices than Malaysia prices.

I have been staying in this hotel on many occasions over the years as I like the swimming pool and the gym. It now seems a bit dated and the most disappointing thing I find is the breakfast on offer. Same things everyday and the quality is poor by comparison to other 4/5 star hotels in KL. No free internet.

I have been to KL many times. A wonderful city with many hotels but avoid this one if you book a 4/5 star hotel for the hotel as well as the city it is located in. We stayed 5 nights Dec 2012 -over New Year. The bed was comfortable, the view fantastic and the gym was very good but the hotel was mired in a 'just going through the motions and cannot be […] bothered' attitude. 1> The hotel had just been partially renovated which left our room with new carpets and scruffy and threadbare furniture 2> The shower/bath was so badly designed that if the shower curtain was not extended so it ran under the shower head - the water falling on the wall under the shower head would flow down to the bath and off on to the floor 3> We booked a room for 3 adults which Expedia and the hotel accepted but a> the room only had a double bed on arriving - which we fixed but b> EVERY day we had to request additional towels (despite tipping the room team on the first time of asking) 4> The hotel has two different receptions for the different towers and if you arrive at the wrong one you are just rudely told to go to the other one. 5> When we checked in the receptionist neglected to ask for the card to imprint. The hotel realised this on Day 2 and locked the fridge. The hotel is in a good location within walking distance to most attractions, especially Petronas Towers & Shopping. The hotel interior presents itself to be a wee bit tired and dated particularly the Executive Lounge on the 25th Floor. It would be well worth a real upmarket refurbishment ... An excellent hotel with a very luxurious feel as you enter. The pool area is very good - huge pool and lots of palm trees etc although you are on the 4th floor level. The buffet breakfast in the West Wing was impressive and service very attentive. Breakfast was available until 11 am, so no morning rush. Room service/housekeeping were always very helpful […] and courteous. The location is good but you need to realize you are a little away from the main shopping and restaurant areas. The monorail is outside the door and for less than 3 ringits you can be in Bukit Bintang shopping and nightlife area in less than 10 minutes - very quick and seemed to run about every 10 minutes. The Petronas twin towers and the superb Suria shopping centre and the parks around the towers are within very easy walking distance. The Malaysian Tourism Centre is across the road and the KL Tower (best view of KL) is very close. The Hop On, Hop Off tourist bus also leaves from across the road.
