Marriott's Barony Beach Club - Hilton Head Island

We were overwhelmed, it was fantastic on every level. Very economical, great rates for cabannas, bikes, groceries, etc. The heated pools were a bit crowded, but extremely nice personnel.

This was the best resort I have stayed in, however I have one complaint. Some of the staff was snotty and nasty toward me. They just seemed to be snappy and have attitudes. Other staff was amazing and inviting, though!

This hotel is remarkable for the price. The week before my wife and I had stayed at a place down in the Florida Keys for twice the price that was a complete dump. Here at the Marriott we had a huge space to accommodate us and our three daughters. The kids loved the Jacuzzi tub that was in the second bedroom, the heated indoor pool, playing in the ocean […] and the splash pad outside is great for the little ones. The room was clean, up to date and did I mention huge? This was just a stopover point on a drive from Florida to Massachusetts so we only had a night, but we will definitely be back. As soon as we walked in we wished we had a week (or more!). The staff even assisted in helping us plan out the drive on the way home that would include frequent stops with for the kids. This vacation club is set up like others I have been to. Two bedroom suite with a master and a 2nd with 2 queen beds. Everything was very nice, check in staff a little on the inexpereinced side, but not a problem. Ht e property is laid out such that virtually none of the rooms have a beachfront view and two of the building are across the road and separated […] from the main campus. We, my family including kids from 8-14, had a wonderful stay at the Barony. The room was clean & very comfortable. The facilities were great too. The only complaint I would have is that the dishwasher in the room was completely useless, but at least I wasn't there long & had detergent for washing by hand.

The two bedroom suites at the Barony Beach Resort were perfect for my wife and I and our 5 kids. Large rooms with large, furnished kitchen, dining area, and living room. Both bedrooms had jacuzzi tubs and separate showers. Even has a washer and dryer in the room. Resort was very clean, the staff very friendly, and the covered parking was nice. They […] have several pools including some for small children and a couple of hot tubs. Onsite bike rentals and plenty of trails around if you enjoy riding. Throughly enjoyed our stay. This is a great villa. The only complaint I would have is that it was a long walk to the beach. We had to walk all around the Westin hotel next door to get to the beach and when you're carrying your beach chairs and towels and stuff, it starts to feel like the beach is far away. Other than that, it was a wonderful vacation.
