The hotel is definately good value considering its location off I-95. Consider the fact that it is not a brand new hotel, there are some needs for improvement but nothing that would hinder your experience here. It is a rather clean hotel. When we arrived there we had come to find this website had not given us a confirmation number, but the hotel staff found it for us and after that brief hiccup our stay was problem-free. I would definately recommend this hotel to others however you might get a better deal if you called the hotel directly (as we found out upon arrival)

"My stay at the Dillon, SC Comfort Inn"
The Front Desk Service was very nice and helpful. The room was neat and orderly, however the smell was awful and that is being polite, I am not sure if it was the drapes, carpet or the air conditioning system. Hotel is older and slightly run down- chipped tub, ceiling, leaking pipe under the sink. For a short stopover it is OK. Plenty of gas stations and fast food places nearby. Easy on and off Rt. 95. "Great location, great room but bathroom so dated"
Room was great, bed very comfortable but inner bathroom that contained toilet and tub'/shower very dated and dingy. A shame because the room itself was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast very good. "Always looking for a microwave/refrigerator"
I cannot stand being in a room that doesn't have a microwave and refrigerator; this one had both. Of course, the microwave barely put out enough power to pop a bag of popcorn - it only popped half the bag before starting to burn. "Not bad"

"Comfort Inn"
The room was reasonably comfortable and the shower had decent water pressure. Thus concludes the positive portion of the review. The hotel staff didn't know how to use their computer system, so double-charged me for the room and then lied about being able to refund it. I will have to wait 7-10 business days to be refunded the double charge because […] they don't know how to do a refund. The room smelled funny, the furniture was scratched and dented, the paint was peeling on the walls and had some gaps where it had been scraped off by the door/furniture, the AC unit was very loud, the shower water temperature pulsed between too cold and too hot while on a constant setting, the breakfast was nigh-inedible, and the vending area didn't actually have any vending machines. Well the front desk clerk was grouchy. The room came out of a bad 50's movie. It was 40 degrees outside and the room had no heat, and it was the only room ready for occupancy because the rest hadn't been cleaned (oh by the way we checked in at 9:30 PM.
