It looked like a nice family oriented place to stay. When I arrived, there was no one at the desk for about 10 minutes, no bell to ring, no nothing. Finally the phone rang (it was me calling the desk while standing at it) and a guy pops around the corner with dishwashing gloves on of some sort. Checks me into my room. I get there, and in the room is […] an outdated TV, age-old (i'm talking That 70's show) appliances, and the worst part is that the thermostat wouldn't work and so on a cold night I had to bundle up as much as possible because no one would come and fix the heat in my room. Exterior of hotel looks run down and service was mediocre at best. Would have preferred a suite hotel that didn't look like a run down apartment complex. Only plus was inside of room was tolerable.

It was the worst place I've ever thought about staying. Pictures online are very deceiving. Needs lots of maintenance outside and inside. Carpet was torn and frayed. We DID NOT STAY! We went to another hotel.

The clerk when I checked in asked for my credit card and I told him that the payment was already taken out of my account. He said he needed it again. I was told upon check out give them three days the charge was an error and will be removed. Today is second day.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks for business. I was pleased with the size of the room and amenities (furniture, bathroom, kitchen area, etc) but the longer I stayed there, the more issues I had. The door did not sit on the frame very well so there was a hole in the top corner and the bottom corner. This let some unwanted bugs into the room here and […] there. There were also some small ants/pests in the kitchen area. Some days were fine, but others were not. I was also on the bottom floor, which was nice to just walk into, but when people were upstairs it was a little loud. Overall it's not a bad hotel and the free breakfast and wifi were good. I selected "No" as the recommendation because I'm sure there are better hotels for the price. If you are staying more than a few days, I would look for something else. Read more

The outside needs to be painted. Rooms were dark and smelled of cigarette smoke even though we supposedly had a "non-smoking" room. The bathroom had no trash can. Overall, not a hotel that I would ever stay at again, nor would I recommend it to anyone!

Upon arrival, neither of my two room keys would work for entry. After a long walk back to the front desk, i was given additional keys that failed to work as well. The person working the desk was very friendly and kept trying to resolve the issue and finally gave me another set of keys for a different room on the other side of the property (There are […] approx. 16 separate buildings with 8 room in each). These new keys for the new room failed to work as well. After the 3rd trip to the front desk, the worker created 2 more keys, locked the office and walked to the room with me only to see for herself that they didnt work. Stay away!!!...while the photos appeal, the unsuspecting guests turn off of a major highway and bustling area to a side road w/a crumbling, run down building in front of the hotel, that might have been a restaurant at one time. Front staff were pleasant and main building looked fine. Our unit included kitchen, living, dining, bedroom, and bathroom. […] Non-smoking unit smelled as if someone had smoked a pack of cigs and shut the door. Open the door and tried to turn on the fan to help drive out the smokey smell. Thermostat was broken - when I tried to use the in-room phone, the line was dead. Walked to the main building; told maintenance would be there to repair the problems. Noticed that the large air vent itself was completely covered in dust; began cleaning down w/major dust piles falling to the floor. The peep hole on the door was stuffed w/a paper towel. The television had about 15 stations. The combination made for the perfect storm of nightmare inn. Called Hotels.com and swtiched to another hotel property w/in a few miles of this sketchy place for the next 2 nights. The following morning at about 6:50 am, my daughter heard a distinctive knock w/3 raps on the door - maybe that explains the paper towel stuffed into the peep hole? Beware... Read more

The small things are not being done now throughout the property. Occupancy was less than at most hotels I've stayed at in my regular trips to Greenville. This is an apartment-style hotel. It does not even come close to 3 stars. The smell in the rooms is horrible because the buildings are old and have not been properly remodeled. The furniture is old and has not been maintained. The blanket has cigarette burns, and the whole room reeked. The rooms were cleaned by the staff, but when everything is so old, […] cleaning is not enough! For the same price you can get cleaner hotels in the area. Could not sleep in the room the first night. I stayed in room 221 from Oct. 21-23. I was disappointed in the condition of your hotel. I have stayed in Greenville many times before in the Haywood Rd area and the exterior of your hotel was in the worst condition I have seen. The exterior of your building needs painting and there is significant wood rot. One of the exterior windows even had broken […] glass. The interior of the room was not much better. The wallpaper in the bathroom had significant mold and it was coming off the walls. The central heat air return had significant dust covering the return. The comforter on the beds also was worn and needed replacement. We used the pull out sofa and there were crumbs on the bed that had not been vacuumed. The ceiling had several places where there was evidence of water damage that had not been sealed with primer. They didn't have any fruit available. We were also disappointed with the breakfast. On Saturday morning, we waited for 30 minutes for eggs and sausage and the lady never had any ready by the time we left. On Sunday, there was no bread or waffles. I asked her if she could out some more and she said that she had run out of waffles. I have always expected quality out of Wyndham hotels and this was one of the worst Wyndham hotels that I have stayed at. Read more

Hotel was not well lit at all! My wife and I did not stay the night as it was very dark and there we simply did not feel safe at the location. The room looked nice, but once again we did not feel safe enough to stay the night. The worker at the front desk was very nice and did everything he should have.
