Good value! The room was nearly comparable to more expensive places. The halls, stairs, etc are in desperate need of a makeover but once I was in my room I was very cozy. Parking is very easy compared to other hotels. Ask for a back-facing room if you're staying for a few days.

I wanted something inexpensive close to the Convention Center and this met my needs. The public spaces were a bit threadbare, but the rom was clean and comfortable. I especially liked the devet on the bed. The stay included a hot breakfast including eggs, sausage, and make-your-own waffles.

Hi arrive to the hotel for business reasons, and i could tell that it is located near everything, Santa clara and San Jose are really near, i drove from SFO international airport and it is like 35 mins on way. While this is an older hotel, it is clean and quiet and delivers well on the basics. If you want the bells and whistles, look elsewhere. If you need a comfortable and quiet place to stay in the south Bay, this hotel offers it at a good price.

I found a live bug in my sheets on my second marriage. I notified housekeeping and management and requested that all bedding be replaced by clean linen and that my room be cleaned be noon (I made this request at 9am). Upon my return at just after 12:30, I saw the room had been cleaned, but neither housekeeping nor the front desk, and even the manager […] of the hotel was able to assure me the bedding had been replaced. The front desk clerk was less than useless in terms of getting satisfactory customer service, and the hotel manager, who did come to my room to discuss the situation, displayed inappropriate attitude and I checked out of the hotel within the hour, vowing never to return to a venue with no sense of how to service their guests. Hotel itself was nice. Smoking policy, cameras and overly strict monitoring of guest activities (like opening an external door in the middle of the night brings front desk guy running) was too much. Stayed in Quality Inn for two nights. The hotel is right off hwy 237 but it is still quite inside. Room was clean and looks new. Staff was very friendly (he even helped us carried our huge luggage upstairs). I was surprise by the breakfast, great quality. The rate is also reasonable. Will come back if I visit the area again.

Overall it was very nice, off the beaten path in a residential area but close to major roads. I was able to use the fitness room one day with the help of the front desk to open up the room. Did not get to use the pool. No back problems for me, comfortable bed.

It worked great for a one-night business stay. It was convenient and clean. The breakfast was above average for this kind of place. The room was quite large. Nothing was fancy, but that probably helps the appealing price.

This is my 2nd time staying there and both stays were fine. This is a decent 2-star (or 2.5 star) hotel for business travelers, students, or families on a budget. Most of the parking […] lot is well-lit at night. The free breakfast is better than most bargain hotel continental breakfasts but not as good as a full hot breakfast (e.g. Residence Inn by Marriott). Fitness room is basic--a few pieces of cardio equipment. Note that there is no elevator to the 2nd floor, which was okay but bad if you have heavy suitcases. It's about 8 minutes by car to the Santa Clara convention center. Very close to Hwy 237 and 2-3 minutes to Hwy 101.
