Friendly front desk help but room faced an other room so no view or natural light. Most disturbing was finding the window wouldn't latch close. Beautiful garden setting, tucked back in away from the busy road. Manager gave us a free upgraded room, very nice. Only negative was "breakfast" was only pre-packaged food, terrible coffee. Had to go eat out anyway.

Had a last minute stay in the Glendora area on business. Located the hotel on Expedia and viewed the pictures. From the dated looking pics, I had second thoughts; yet the ratings were descent, so I booked. As I arrived at the hotel, the grounds were well kept and parking was easy. Nice hotel, with newly upgraded interiors and beautiful landscaping. The first room that I got had a strong odor. I'm not sure if it was the cleaning agent used or something else. The hotel was accommodating and gave me another room which was a little better. The breakfast selection was kind of limited in my opinion. Otherwise, it was comfortable.

Spent two nights at Garden Inn with my daughter while visiting Azusa Pacific University (APU). Hotel appears to have recently been remodeled. Large room with two queen beds, plenty of space, granite counters in the bathroom, new carpet and paint. This has been one of the best hotels we have stayed at in awhile. The room was newly remodeled and was absolutely beautiful and clean. The beds were comfortable, the pillows fluffy, and the towels were thick and big. They had a wet bar set up with a microwave and mini fridge with a nice flat screen t.v. The room I stayed must have been recently remodeled. Everything was brand new. Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice bath room and a bar area with small fridge and a microwave. Staff was also very nice and hospitable. I recommend this Hotel 100%!

We were in a newly remodeled room.....very nicely done but smelled a little chemically of new carpet or drapes. Very comfortable and roomy. Beautiful gardens all around the buildings and very accomodating folks running the hotel.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Booked because I had business in Azusa the next day. Got to hotel, facility is old, staff is friendly however. Got to room and it's old and nasty. Bathtub is disgusting w/ stains on porcelian. Free breakfeast is some rasin bran w/ a gallon of milk in a fridge, some few day old fruit, day old mini bagels, and a gallon […] of sunn d in the fridge. Absolutely not even worth eating. Go back to room log onto office computer to work on quote and the power goes off! Comes back on 2 minutes later and then I hear banging and clanking on the roof!!!! Next I hear a saw and then I left. Good price and location but needs updating. A plus is the flat screen tv. Negatives are the uncomfortably hard bed, noisy air conditioning unit and old beat up furnishings, flooring and fixtures. As far as we could tell the room was clean. Comforter had a stain on it.

The owners appear to be in the middle of a renovation of the hotel. They are very hard-working, friendly, professional people. The hotel needs a lot of work. I do not see it as a 2-star hotel. I see it as a 1 to 1.5 star hotel. If Ayers Suites Corona West is a 2.5, then this hotel is a 0 or 0.5. The hotel upper units have badly-creaking floors. Hotel was very nice, they had posted that it had a hot tub but later found out the city had shut it down. Kind of bummed us out. We didn't stay the night we were just there for a short time while in the area for a pageant. Loved the fact there was a store to get drinks or snacks right out front. Very convenient to the college where we needed to go.

I liked the Roses. the mountain view. this was probably a cool hotel in the early 80s but by today's standards for that price you can be in a luxury resort. historically route 66 sounded like it's interesting but the area is kind of commercial in a not that cute way, and the hotel can use some re-vamping... maybe they can start serving veggie food or […] something to make it more unique. there's apples in the lobby but they were not very fresh to eat... i like the idea but not the quality too much. Hotel was OK. The iron burn mark on carpet was first clue. This place need a general upkeep, Ex...the towel rack was loose. Overall, just a OK hotel if you want to a place to park and sleep for a few hours.

We booked here for close location to a relative hosting a family event. This hotel has attractive grounds. The rooms are undergoing complete renovations. Everything in our room was new and very clean. If you book, make sure you ask for a "new" room!
