Within walking distance of the French Quarters and Bourbon Street. Ruby Slipper restaurant was very good and only a couple blocks away. Staff was very helpful suggesting sites to visit.

The location was great but the hotel was old and very noisy. The air conditioning was extremely noisy. There was no fridge in the room which was out of character for such and expensive hotel. Also the parking at $40/day was excessive.

This was my second visit to NOLA. I found the staff at this hotel very helpful, friendly and courtious. I feel anything I had a question about was no problem for the staff. My friend and I had been on a cruise and decided to extend our trip. This was the first time she had been to NOLA.

Great location, nice rooms. Uncaring and unwelcoming staff: I truly did not feel welcome here. The service was well below average. Front desk was very rude. If we didn't prepay for our rooms we would have gone to a different hotel.

Great Location! Only one block from Bourbon Street. The room we had did not allow us to take a luggage cart all the way to the room as we had to go up stairs which was a little inconvenient. The hotel room we had also had a hole in the wall under the window. It is obvious that it is an older hotel but they have done a good job keeping it up.

The rooms were larger than any other Holiday Inn I have stayed in. It was very comfortable. Alan the concierge went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be. He booked a ghost tour for us, arranged transportation, and held our bags for us until our room was available and until we had to leave for the airport. He was absolutely fantastic. I tried ordering room service continental breakfast on several occasions, and each time the item showed up to my room differently than the day before. One day there was no staff showed up for their shifts to offer room service at all, so I had to leave the hotel to find something to eat.

We loved our first trip to New Orleans and every thing about it. We were very pleased with our hotel stay. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Fantastic experience at new Orleans! The chateau lamoyne is at a great location about 40 seconds away from bourbon street! The staff is real nice and courteous (they let us check in 3hrs ahead of time)! The local bar at the hotel is great too!

I stay there whenever I can get good rates because it is close to most of the things I come to New Orleans for. The atmosphere there is historic and I really like whenever they give me a balcony room overlooking Dauphine Street.

Check in time is 4:00 and they held us to that even though we arrived at 1:00. Hotel is in a great location and noise from Bourbon St was minimal. Our only complaint was in the restaurant for breakfast we had to remind waitress every day for any side orders we may have ordered and on 2 days never received part of the order. Concierge was very helpful in booking tours and recommending restaurants. We did not eat in hotel restaurant due to breakfast experience but we did drink at the bar. Nice bartenders.

After a 11 hour drive ,we arrived at the hotel at 10:30 a.m. .Check in time was 3:00 p.m. . I Explained to " Anna " that my wife and I were very tired and inquired about possibly paying for an early check-in . Anna informed me that my room was ready and we could check in at no additional cost ! 4.5 hours early ! The staff was eager to accommodate all our needs at exceptional speed . (early room cleaning , valet car pick-up , easy check-out . And we stayed during a holiday weekend and there was a big football game in town !

Booked this hotel because it was the cheapest one at the last second. I was surprised with the hotel and service as it was a better quality than what I expected. The location was great, the rooms were comfortable, and the front desk helped us out a lot with various needs. If you are trying to book something in the mid range price, definitely give them a shot.

Stayed while attending a convention at the Convention Center. Great location only one block from Bourbon St, but far enough away that it is quiet and calm (not raucous). I thought room was very nice, I had a balcony (room 408) overlooking downtown which was great when the sun was out.

I enjoyed my stay and will stay there again in the event we return to New Orleans. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was very nice we just did not like having to walk down stairs inside the room. I really loved were our car was housed. Overall I would say it was a very nice stay.
