"Two nights for St. Patrick's Day"
We enjoyed our stay and the location is perfect for walking to just about anywhere in the French Quarter. The staff was friendly and helpful and we had no issues with check-in/out. The only negative thing I have to say is that the valet fee is pretty expensive (almost $40 per day) compared to other French Quarter hotels I've stayed in.

Thank you for choosing the Chateau LeMoyne for your travel needs! Parking in the French Quarter is very limited and at a premium because when the French Quarter was established 300 years ago, the mode of transportation was horse and buggy. All hotels in the French Quarter charge a fee for parking. No hotels in the French Quarter provide Shuttle Service. The Chateau LeMoyne has a gated Lot No self-parking allowed. If a motorcycle, you are allowed to park yourself. The charge for a motorcycle is for the space $34.95 plus taxes per night. If more than 1 motorcycle, the number of motorcycles that fit in one parking space. We have valet parking only. The rate is $34.95 plus taxes per night with in/out privileges. Oversize cars, trucks and vans the rate is $39.95. Hotels in the French Quarter do not have shuttles; the airport does have a shuttle called “Airport Shuttle” which can be picked up at baggage claim area at the airport. The cost is $20.00 per person each way, or $38.00 per person round trip. The other option is a taxi which you can also pick up at baggage claim. The taxi fee is $33.00 flat for one or two persons, with a $14.00 fee for any additional persons. Taxi from hotel to cruise ships is $7.00 per person. Taxi from hotel to Amtrak station $10.00 per person.

"One Night in Nola"
Just a quick overnight trip to visit the French quarter. The location was perfect, one block from Bourbon yet it wasn't loud at night. Our room had french doors that opened to a little shared balcony, it was really cute. There's also a pool which is ideal for hot Louisiana Weather.

"New Orleans after Cruising"
We stayed in New Orleans for 2 nights after a cruise and the Holiday Inn was a convenient choice. It was a short drive from the cruise terminal and about 20 minutes to airport. We were in walking distance to all the French Quarter has to offer. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We used the courtyard to share a bottle of wine with friends we were traveling with. We would definitely stay again!

"great place and staff"
The first night the room had two beds (on our honeymoon, but our fault as we booked last minute), the faucets were dirty around the base and the air con was SO noisy when it kicked in and out and rattled. We saw the staff that night and asked for a room change the next day which they promptly organized. The second room was in much better condition, and they upgraded our view for the trouble. Friendly helpful staff, great little bar downstairs, great location nice and quiet in French Quarter but not too far from everything. Walking distance to food and bars everywhere.

"Great location and lobby, service not so much."
Stayed here with my husband and my parents. Concierge was very friendly and helpful. Check in was complicated as the front desk attendant gave our room key to the guests checking in next to us and vice versa. We were given two double beds instead of a King and the other guests used the breakfast coupon that should have been ours. No apology from the hotel or offer to correct the issue. :( However, perfect walking distance to everything Bourbon Street and French Quarter. Attached restaurant/bar has great ambiance and service. Lobby is beautiful, but the hotel rooms could use an update.

"Close to restaurants and shopping"
Hotel was nice, fairly typical room for Holiday Inn. Nice and clean, extremely comfortable bed! The concierges were nice and helpful as were the hotel clerks. All smiling. Since it was in the French Quarter, it is close to restaurants, shopping and short walk to Cafe Du Monde for morning coffee and beignets! Be sure to take the trolley to Garden District and cemetaries,for 3.00 you can use them all day and most of the night. If you get a chance go to VooDoo bbq, it is on the trolley ride to the Garden District, fall off the bone bbq! Felix has great food, chargrilled oysters were awesome, not crowded like Acme. Check out Groupon and Living social for great deals on different restaurants. For souvenirs, check out the French Market. Better prices and short walk from Cafe du Monde. Be sure to look for bags of southern fried peanuts! Omg! So good. Look for the real artists, most everything is from china, but some like Jon G. are really great artists. So much to do here, Aquarium, Audubon Zoo, swamp tours, riverboat rides, mardi gras warehouse etc.......if you are of age, be sure to go to Pat O'briens for a hurricane! The mule drawn carriages are a great deal, 36.00/pp for a whole hour tour. Kim was a great guide.

"Ok, but not great"
The hotel's location was great (in French quarter) but was disappointing in a number of ways. while the hotel staff was alright, the service in the restaurant was terrible. lack of attention, very slow, no silverware (alot of times, till my meal was colder), just not a good experience. The pool was NOT heated for our one week stay. ( broken part was still on order). The hotel was clean but rooms are in need of updating, HVAC system very loud, (no open windows in our room), paint flaking from ceiling in one of our rooms, etc. My wife thought the experience was better than I did. I don't know if I would want to stay here again.

Overall the stay was nice. The staff was all very friendly! The room was clean. The rooms with balconies however are very loud! It was difficult to sleep if u r a light sleeper!

The room was nice, and, the location to Bourbon street was a block away. You could vurtually walk to a lot of things. The only difficulty was the Heat/Air system would not stay on a set temp. But, the staff maintenance was very prompt at fixing anything.

"This place is amazing."
Everything about this hotel was fabulous. It is probably one of the best locations imaginable. Maybe a three minute walk to Bourbon st. yet far enough away to have a sound nights sleep. We were there during Mardi Gras and really liked the level of security, i.e. all hotel patrons had to wear green wristbands in order to get into the hotel. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone travelling to New Orleans.

promised check in at 4pm. Really wasn't until 5:45pm. Next am. No hot water. Promised a suite, to make up for the inconvenience.1 bed = 3 people. Promised check in at 4 pm. Was again after 5pm. The room we got had torn curtains & no balcony. If I can't have the suite, at least a balcony, decent window that opens. Reservations were made in June for 2 days w/a balcony.

We came to your hotel for Mardi Gras. It was a very nice experience, not noisy at all, which we thought may happen. Security is excellent, never had that at other hotels. Felt safe at all times. We had a clean room every day. The other drawback was in the morning we went down for breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The waitress was awful. Service terrible. We had to get up from our table 3 times to get her attention for things she forgot. Other than that we loved our stay at your hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

"Business for 4 days"

"Location great, but is it worth it?"
Valet guys were great, took care of us right away... Check in was pleasant enough and honored our request for a balcony ... We did not realize how noisy a street balcony would be or how thin the walls in the hotel were and that we would hear everyone on the second floor, And every noise possible from the street...Mattress was hard and uncomfortable and room and accessories basic. Room service was Freaky Fast and not good! The hotel bar was a fun place to hang out with great service and live music !!!! My opinion only

"Just okay"
Anniversary trip to beautiful NOLA. Thought we'd try this hotel. Great location. Courtyard was nice, but nothing special. The rooms are loud, but we still slept fine. (Thanks, Hurricane drinks)! The bell hops are friendly, but the front desk, NOT. And lastly, why put out a table with all the makings of coffee, and have the pot empty the three times we were foolish enough to try to have some? Then when we asked if there was any more coffee, the front desk clerk pointed out a nearby restaurant!

"Friday Night-Big Easy"
The best part of our stay was Happy Hour in the Hotel Restaurant.We enjoyed some good food,Cosmos & decent live music. Bartenders were very engaging,valet parking right accross the street.The Hotel is nicely decorated,but like most of the buildings in the french quarter,old and musty. Our room on 2nd floor was nice but the bathroom was very dirty,the mirror was discolored.we come to New Orleans about once a year,we love the atmosphere & we take into account,part of the charm is "It's OLD"

The location was great but the hotel was old and very noisy. The air conditioning was extremely noisy. There was no fridge in the room which was out of character for such and expensive hotel. Also the parking at $40/day was excessive.

"Vacation after our vacation!"

"Great hotel, HORRIBLE service"
Great location, nice rooms. Uncaring and unwelcoming staff: I truly did not feel welcome here. The service was well below average. Front desk was very rude. If we didn't prepay for our rooms we would have gone to a different hotel.

"One nite stopover"

"Great Location!"
Great Location! Only one block from Bourbon Street. The room we had did not allow us to take a luggage cart all the way to the room as we had to go up stairs which was a little inconvenient. The hotel room we had also had a hole in the wall under the window. It is obvious that it is an older hotel but they have done a good job keeping it up.

"Large Rooms, skip room service"
The rooms were larger than any other Holiday Inn I have stayed in. It was very comfortable. Alan the concierge went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be. He booked a ghost tour for us, arranged transportation, and held our bags for us until our room was available and until we had to leave for the airport. He was absolutely fantastic. I tried ordering room service continental breakfast on several occasions, and each time the item showed up to my room differently than the day before. One day there was no staff showed up for their shifts to offer room service at all, so I had to leave the hotel to find something to eat.

"Great place to enjoy the French Quarter."
We loved our first trip to New Orleans and every thing about it. We were very pleased with our hotel stay. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The only change I would have made is to have the bathroom a bit bigger. We will stay here again the next time we go,

"Wonderful!"
Fantastic experience at new Orleans! The chateau lamoyne is at a great location about 40 seconds away from bourbon street! The staff is real nice and courteous (they let us check in 3hrs ahead of time)! The local bar at the hotel is great too!

"Great Location, Basic Needs Met"
5 nights in December. Great location from which to explore French Quarter, Treme, CBD, Garden District and beyond. Hotel a bit faded around the edges, but core needs intact. Didn't swim, but pool and courtyard are inviting. Staff members attentive and helpful. Bartender not so much.
