My biggest dissapointment was that expedia listed the hotel as a 3 star... it wasn't... tiny room, bad pillows, and most tragic of all was that it is in a industrial area that felt surrounded by poverty.

The hotel staff goes above and beyond what any local motel Holiday Inn or otherwise would do to accomodate their customers. If we needed anything, the staff was friendly and immediately respond. Great price for a suite which basically gives you two rooms in one with a shared bathroom. DEFINETLY staying here again.

Checking in was a breeze, and we were stunned by the beautiful lobby. When we got to our room, however, we felt like the standards of care had dropped considerably. The tub was either stained from years of use or it was cleaned improperly. There was somebody else's hair all over the tub and surrounding tiles. The faucet in the tub did not work at all. […] The water came out through the shower head, but I wanted to take a quick bath so I didn't risk getting my hair wet. If I had taken my son, he couldn't have gotten cleaned up because the tub faucet did not work properly. We turned the air conditioner on before we left for the evening and came back to a room which, frankly, was warmer than the outside air. When my husband went outside to smoke, he noticed the curtains in another room had a five inch tear. When we booked Holiday Inn, it was because we know them to be a quality chain with high standards. I was attending a minor league baseball game and chose this hotel for the proximity to Kino Stadium, and I wasn't disappointed! It really was right down the street! Housekeeping was fantastic throughout the whole stay, but our check-in experience wasn't very friendly. The front desk agent couldn't even look at the map of the hotel to show us where the […] elevators were without studying it first! Not to mention he couldn't even lift his head up to make eye-contact, but the check-out process was smooth and the woman was friendly. Room service was quick and the food wasn't bad; the same goes for the restaurant inside the hotel. Room service even did a follow-up call 30 minutes after the food was delivered to see how everything was. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Arriving at the hotel and checking in, she jumped on a two-way and stated she needed a queen room, then told me it was all ready to go. Tried to turn on TV but wasn't working. Room smelled musky. Had to go to a banquet, so I called to let them know I would be gone long enough for them to redo room. Ordered at the bar/rest. to take back up to my room to my daughter who was waiting for me. We were starving since we didn't eat much at the dinner #big mistake# I ordered spinach dip and sirloin tips. When I got back to the room, I dropped off the food because I forgot drinks. I had to go to FOUR different floors before I found a vending machine that wasn't 'sold out', ended up getting only brands avail. not what I wanted #1.50 per bottle#, got back to room and the food was literally inedible #I am NOT picky# It was so gross not only the quality but the prep and taste! All was satisfactory except for the HVAC. Apparently, each room has it's own unit in the room; wall-mounted. When it goes on, it is proceeded by a noise as if the elevator was next door, followed by a rather loud rush of air lasting 5-15 secs. Did not make for a restful night. Be sure to turn off he HVAC before turning in for the night.

Having a small refridgerator in the room would have been nice. The bedding and pillows were fine. The bed itself could have a tad softer. I like fluffly :) And the bathtub needed some of those non slip things in the bottom, because it was slippery.

The hotel seemed really nice on the outside and when you walked into the lobby. When we checked in the lady seemed very helpful. However, as soon as we got to our rooms I called and asked for toothbrushes and toothpaste. They never came. I had to retrieve them the next morning. Not so bad. We checked in at 4pm but our room wasn't ready until 630. When we arrived in our room we turned on the heat, only to have dust billow out and make the room smell like burnt dust. After a few minutes we heard a loud screeching sound. It was the elevator. It made for a long night.

Hotel was out of the way of the airport and not convenient to travel. Restaurant was very over priced for a Holiday Inn. Truly a hotel were the winner was the person that took the hotel pictures because when you get there the hotel is not the one in the pictures. Checking In was routine, we got the floor we wanted and our room was not too far from the elevator. Our floor was quiet, no noises on either walls, relatively quite during our whole stay. Carpet looked like it needed to be shampooed or replaced, wallpaper had some torn places next to the desk, but all the lights worked and the bed was comfy. This is a very good hotel if you want to be close enough to the airport for convenience but far enough away that the noise from the airport is not significant. Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. The only suggestion I have is that the restaurant needs to be open 24/7 for those that travel on late flight or early morning flights.
