We stayed in a 2 double bed room on the 2nd floor in late November. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean. I appreciated the complimentary water bottle each day. The only downside was that there were not enough wall outlets and that we were too close to the pool that people could look through our window. I also liked the 24 hour business center with access to the internet in the lobby.

4 night business stay. First morning no hot water, said to be "beyond their control", and offered a shower in a rival hotel. So called club lounge offered a few magazines and an impossible to use coffee machine (surrounded by empty coffee cups). Booked meeting room for 2 days, on second, had to search for someone to let us in, since not recorded (depite fact lcd screen clearly listed it). ordered car for 5am airport departure. Chased up lateness, informed the driver had a flat tire. complete joke of a business hotel.

Upon check in I thought it was going to be a great stay! Front desk was friendly, rooms very nice for the price and convient to the convention center. The absolute breakdown of the phacade happened at 5 the next morning...no hot water, no knowledgable staff, no maintenace staff, no solutions and a god awful smell!!!! Only to be topped by someone dressed as a security guard banging on my door @ 5am and being told by a security guy that no one from his staff was at my room? I did try to handle this with the hotel...no one seemed interested!

The service could hardly have been better, especially food room service SO FAST, whether for breakfast or a nice dinner -- which included the full restaurant menu. Guranteed to be in your room in 1/2 hour or free -- we had our breakfast less than 15 minutes, and one dinner in only 20 minutes on a busy evening! Shuttle available to take you anywhere within 3 miles, no car needed. Tons of quality restaurants in the area! We walked to Ruth's Chris, and shuttled to Buco de Beppo. In room movie charges seemed high ($15 for ours).

The Sheraton was a steal for the price we found on hotels.com. It was within very easy walking distance from the main strip in Old Town Pasadena. The hotel itself was nice and clean, and the daytime staff was friendly and helpful. Two small nits: 1) The air conditioner in the room was loud and made some strange clicking sounds throughout the night, but air con was definitely a necessity. 2) The elevators were also painfully slow and there was sometimes a crowd waiting for them.

At the time I asked for a hotel booking I asked for parking; apparently I should have said "free parking" because I was charged daily rates. Parking lot was in basement and inconvenient and shared by a bunch of other community buildings and was terribly crowded. My room was clean and pleasant but there was a bar below so that one night it was too noisy to sleep. A good hotel, great personnel, very polite and friendly.
