The hotel is still cleaning up after Hurricane Ike, one day it will be a nice place to stay.

Desk but no chair anywhere. Plaster patches did not match. Sickening sweet smell. No remote for TV that had limited viewing. Requested hair dryer, requested again 1 hour later as well as replacement for broken radio. Received hair dryer and a second broken radio.

I typically do not write reviews, however I felt compelled to take a minute to write this one. I stayed here on business due to high hotel demand in the area for one night. The information presented on the website is not accurate. I consider myself fairly tolerant of hotels, realizing not all are created equal. However, I do expect that hotel rooms provided to guests do not have enormous holes in the drywall, do not smell horrible, and are somewhat clean - all three of which this hotel did not accomplish. Had I committed to more than 1 night here, I would have checked out early and found someplace else. This is hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had, period.
