Holiday Inn Seattle Airport - SeaTac

The hotel was under renovation so there was some issues but understandable. The location was great. Service in the restaurant was very lacking. With very few customers in at the time I went, I was not attended well and waited an exorbitant amount of time for the check or for a drink refill.

Found it ridiculous that you had to pay for parking -- $52 for three days. Seven Hills Grille Restaurant has a very good breakfast buffet for $13.50. Very close to Sea-Tac airport and other restaurants are close by. Overall I would recommend. Rooms were nice.

The hotel room itself was fine, however the website didnt mention the $ parking fee. Every other airport hotel I've stayed at in Seattle has had free parking. More annoying than that was the fact that the hotel was under maintenance. We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. The hotel is currently under renovation. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was really nice. hotel is under remodel. bathrooms were very nice as was the bedding. However, less than half the rooms are open and there is active construction - meaning noise, debris, etc. There also was a scary electrical outlet that had pulled free of the wall and looked dangerous. And the TV didn't work.

Holiday Inn Sea-Tac undergoing renovation. No fridge in room, ice machines and drink machines pulled from floors, had to get ice from bar (w/tip to barman to bag the ice), asked for quiet room and put on the back where the huge construction dumpster apparently was pushed off the trailer at 5:30 am ending the night's slumber. I like a cold soda in the morning and having to pay for and shlep ice upstairs was not great, and the dumpster drop at 5:30 was the deal breaker. No more Holiday Inn. On check in, they couldn't find the second reservation and blamed hotels-com. We had to get a second room at a higher price. Upon calling hotels-com they had made the second reservation and hotels-com called the hotel to fix everything (thanks hotels-com!). Two 2-bedroom rooms turned into two one-bedroom rooms. Hotel and staff were great. Very convient location to airport and shuttle. One notice you should let people know that there is an additional charge to park your car at the hotel(many of the hotels in this area have this charge).

We had a 5:45am flight out of SeaTac. Returned our rental car the night before, took the shuttle to the airport then courtesy van to the Hotel. No waiting! Our room was comfortable and quiet. Pro- close to airport and car rental....that's about it. Cons- no fridge in room, older hotel, parking for 12.95 a night, surrounding is not nice. Stay away unless you think it's worth getting the points.

Very easy walk and easy to find as we arrived late at night (10 pm) There is a Denny's just 200 yards away so we could some food late night. Loved the Hotel. the location is perfect. It is just walking distance to airport and the link rail that you can take all the way to and back to downtown Seattle.There is a Dennys just a few blocks away. Nice staff, clean rooms. It did it's job.
