Staff was great. When we got our room the TV was on the fritz so the front desk attendant moved us to a different room that had beem remodeled and had a new flat screen TV. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and I had requested the room a little earlier than check in time and they got the room ready. We ended up arriving earlier than expected, so it was very nice of them to let us check in earlier.

I was very happy it had all the amenities of the fancier hotels like in room safe, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, iron & board, and blow dryer. The motel was what anyone should expect for the price and I got a smoking deal off hotels.com. I had to be in Corona for a business course and rather than fighting traffic for 4 hours, I opted to stay at this HoJo in Norco (northern Corona). My room was well cleaned before and during my stay. The free breakfast was exactly that - Free. Coffee was undrinkable […] and I find store bought danishes to be quite disgusting. I usually hit up Starbuck's in the a.m. anyway and there is one close by. The hot tub and pool that were both well serviced. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The manager even honored my same rate the second night without having to book again through hotels.com, when I spontaneously decided to extend my stay. I would definitely stay there again if I find myself having to be in Corona/Norco again. Read more

This is definitely an old hotel, in a nice part of town. Despite its age, the owners still try hard to keep it nice. They've done the best anyone could do with rooms and a layout from the 70's. The only face to face contact I had was with the check in clerk who was pleasant,prompt and polite. The non face to face contact was with the maid who decided that at 10:00 a.m. I needed a wake up call by banging on the door.

The room was clean, the facilities were clean, and the service was fine. However, we stayed in a smoking room and the hotel shows a lack of ability to negate the latent smell of cigarette smoke. As well, the curtains were very thin, and thus allowed the parking lot lights to leave the room too bright to fall asleep properly.

First the Good... The hotel is centrally located right in the middle of Norco which is right between Ontario and Corona, which was ok..... Now, the bad, the hotel is right by the freeway, and yes you can hear it. Second, the room is cold and there is a draft no matter what you do. Wife and […] I were looking forward to having a nice stay and relax in the jacuzzi, but it was dirty, really dirty and not maintained, but we were willing to overlook it, but it was cold....... freezing There were no signs indicating that the pool area was closed and that was one of the reasons we booked a room at the Hojo. When she called the front desk, they said yes it was open and yes it was turned on.... nope, my foot was frozen. Finally, the breakfast is lackluster as is the service from the hotel staff. I only gave the hotel a 2 because the exterior is clean mostly, the hotel is centrally located and it doesn't look like a "no-tel" motel but for a few bucks more there are other nationally branded hotels to stay at which would provide quality service for your money. The room was homely. I had requested to have a 3 star room and my wife and I were given this hotel option. The room was comfortable, but our faucet leaked. Then my wife happened to look down and noticed that there was a hole in the carpet and a bad water stain on it. There was obvious ceiling repairs in our room where you could see there had been water […] damage. In the morning when we got up, we noticed that the fitted sheet on the bed did not reach all the way to the foot of the bed, but exposed was the bed-bug mattress cover underneath. As I mentioned before the woman at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Once I got into the room it was very old and dirty and it had a stale odor, as did the comforter and blanket . As i pulled back the covers I found lots of hair tangled throughout the blanket and comforter. The sheets were stained but did not smell and appeared to have been washed. […] The pillow cases were previously used and had not been washed. The carpet was dirty. The counter was scratched and stained and had a layer of dirt/dust that came off on the towel that i used to wipe it with. The basin was dirty as were the mirrors. The toilet seat was old and dirty, the walls and floors of the bathroom were stained and dirty. The shower was dirty and had hair in it. The lamps were not working properly, the heater was loud and also did not work properly. The TV remote was dirty, the night stand was sticky. Over all it was an uncomfortable, disgusting nights stay, and the only reasons I didn't go back and ask for a different room are beacuse I had my four year old with me and there was a constant rain fall. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean but outdated. The carpet and bathroom was warn and needed some renovation. I also did not expect to have the tub so warn that the coaking on the rim was coming apart. The Front desk clerk was very helpful and Friendly. well it wasn't like we were staying at the Wynn in Vegas so we got a what we expected and its exactly what we wanted just room and board for one night is all we wanted and that's what we got. which was fine. we were pleasantly surprised to find that it had a pool and jacuzzi. should have brought my swim trunks oh well next time.

Rented 2 rooms for a 6 day golf trip. Usually we stay in Holiday Inn or Best Western in Corona or farther south in Temecula. We stayed here because of location to all the courses we were going to play. Checked into hotel and was greeted by a pungent smell of curry. Don't get me wrong, I love curry but not in the hotel lobby/breakfast room. Got to room, […] standard room. 2 beds reasonably clean. Went to the hot tub to soak. Nice and COLD. Went to lobby & asked about hot tub & was told it was working. Was told it would be working tomorrow. Wasn't done. Cold whole time. Tried to make collect call back to Canada was told I couldn't. Not acceptable. Went to get ice 3 days in a row & got about a dozen cubes each day. Had to go to 7-eleven to get ice. Not acceptable.The people running this motel didn't seem to care 1 way or another about service. We left a day early just to get out of this place. Very disappointed.
