The total ran all night long and kept me awake! For the amount we paid I would have expected a room that had a properly working toliet! I thought I left something in the room and called the hotel after we left and although the gentleman was nice when I called I never received a call back about my item I thought I left behind.

We were in town for a youth sports event. We usually stay north of Richmond but chose to stay at this hotel due to the ratings on hotels.com. It was a further from downtown than we expected. It was clean, though, and the room was very well kept.

I stayed here while my husband was having surgery. I had to switch rooms the second day because the cable went out and the water was turned off for a full day. The staff were very nice and gave me a free meal. The location was good and there's a couple places to eat within walking distance. I most likely would stay here again due to the location.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Needs a cover for the toilet seat but other then that the hotel was very nice. The location was right off I-95 so close and easy to find. Dog Friendly a+

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, however, the bathroom was as cold as the weather outside (in the thirties) and never warmed up. Stopping at the desk the next morning and asking that they fix the unheated bathroom resulted in it no longer being as cold as the outside temperature, just slightly less cold. This hotel was a pleasant surprise in the industrial south side of Richmond. The staff was professional, the room was great - nice beds and room was quiet. Probably the only downside was that the hotel does not do a complimentary breakfast and we had to swing by McDonald's to get a fast breakfast before our daughter's early lacrosse tournament. This was a great 3 star hotel. Very clean rooms that look either new or recently remodeled. I booked on a surprise since I did the "unpublished rate" thing. Best idea ever!!! Paid less for this nice hotel than I would have paid for a seedy, outdated questionable motel. Close to the interstate, sports bar attached (closes at 11,) 24 hour Subway and McDonalds […] across the street. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was nice and clean. I would have liked brighter lighting in the bathroom mirror area; and, I would have liked lighting in the area where the microwave and mini fridge were located. The toilet should have had a lid on it so you wouldn't have to be concerned with things falling into the toilet. It also […] would have been nice if the A/C and fan was quieter at the lower settings. I really loved the space in the bathroom and the fact that the sink was in the bathroom and not just outside of it, as I've seen in other hotels. Nice long counter space to put out all your toiletries and makeup. Just needed brighter light. That's a big plus! The "gift shop" at the hotel wasn't a gift shop at all. It just contained various bags of chips and soft drinks. A gift shop should contain more items that men, women and children (babies) can use during their stay other than snack food. Just my opinion. Lobby, was inviting & well-lit. Staff, was extremely friendly & courteous. Parking-lot, Entry-doors (w/key-card), Hall-ways & Elevators: well-lit. Room: Very Clean & Smelled fresh! Surpringly nice hotel for a good price in a strange town. Needed a one night stay for a basketball tournament. Richmond can be spotty but this was a relatively nice location right off I-95. Hotel felt new and was very nice. Also had a decent sports bar restaurant

you need a full time machanic that is on call day and night. Our sink was plugged up all night and it still had water in it when we awoke. There was no one to fix it so we had to use the tub. Very inconvenient. You also only had 3 towels in the room when you knew there would be 4 people so I had to go get my own towels, not a big deal, but it was because […] there was no one at the desk who could bring one. Close to I-95 so it's a great pit Stop along the way. Pool out of season. It's still 90 degrees In Richmond Virginia after labor day. Why not keep the pool open longer. Will stop At the Hampton on the way home for the indoor pool and free breakfast.

We stayed at this location many years ago. It has since been totally renovated and brought up to "business" standards. The rooms are brand new and the hotel has been upgraded. Convenient to downtown and highway.

However, the hallways were very hot and stuffy and the elevator was extremely hot. the architect should have thought to put a fan to help at least move the air in the one working elevator. I would not stay at this hotel again. Floors were dirty and not vacuumed from Friday to Sunday. Wi-Fi didn't work and our sink was clogged and leaking. After two attempts by the hotel to fix the clog we had to brush our teeth in the bathtub.

I got there late at night and after driving around for quite a while trying to find someplace to […] eat, I finally gave up and went to the gas station next door and had to resort to a dinner of beef jerky and chips. I got there late at night and left early the next morning, so it was good for a place to crash for a night, but wouldn't necessarily want to stay there for a longer trip.
