It was wonderfully close to the train station, and then the main area of Aberdeen. My room was tiny, but clean and had a comfy big bed along with a tv and complimentary tea/coffee tray. The downside was no free wifi or breakfast, and the receptionist was a little rude. All in all great deal for what you get.

This is a large, American-style hotel on the outskirts of Aberdeen. The rooms are of ample size and very clean. There is an excellent hot breakfast. Don't be fooled that is the "airport hotel," however. In fact, it's about a 15-20 minute drive from the airport and there is no shuttle bus. This is in spite of the fact that there is an air traffic control tower next door. Actually, the hotel is fairly convenient for getting into downtown Aberdeen, although you'd have to drive into town. It is much larger and nicer than the other Holiday Inn. however, the latter is better located for walking around town.

Very nice staff. Good restaurant right in the hotel. HOWEVER, we chose this hotel for its complimentary airport shuttle. When we checked in we found out... that they were no longer running the shuttle at that time. Not particularly impressed with this considering it was shown as one of the amentities on expedia, but overall, it was a nice hotel and would recommend it, but don't count on a shuttle. by Lindsay from Maine on 06/12/12

Uk electrical outlet with 220 volts so I could not use my American Laptop, Phone Charger, or Electrical Shaver. Dispite several request no adaptor was provided. International telephone calls were very expensive and your calls can only be paid with credit card. Litle variety in meals in the restaurant and bar. Expensive internet 10 sterling per hour […] at the Bar. I was relatively isolated during my stay in the hotel. I mean without posibility to make calls or check or send emails at the rate I am use to do it. No drinks or snaks in the freige. The television channels are only the ones from Scotland. Only 30 TV Channels. I heard noises from my room 111 until 1:00 am comming from people in the bar or in the swimming pool. During the day you cannot rest properly because a lot of noise comming from the corridors, wimming pool, bar, people doing electrical work, and opening and closing doors. The hotel is good but a bit dated - facilities includes a nice restaurant, pool and fitness suite. There is no lift. Staff were friendly with the exception of one receptionist. The thing that let it down for us was that it took 3 telephone calls to find out if the shuttle was coming to pick us up from the airport. We were left standing outside for 40 […] minutes. If we had known it would be so long we would have taken a taxi. It was not the driver's fault. Read more

Carpet had some sticky patches. Asked for a room in a quiet location away from the noise. Was put right next to the main door and was kept awake most of the night. Rooms are not particularly soundproof. Internet access is £15 for 24 hours and runs our as soon as you check out. Bathroom was modern and clean with a great shower. Menu is not great.

Very comfortable hotel with pool and small gym. We had booked it as several members of our family were meeting up in Aberdeen for the weekend. Pool great for the kids, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great but pricey for Continental (£15) so if you can get a deal that includes breakfast go for it.

This hotel is far from the city centre but close to the airport and has a free shuttle service linking the airport to the hotel. There are also banks, shops etc within walking distance of the hotel.

Stayed at this hotel as was at a wedding reception held there. Fantastic day, great room, my double room had 2 double beds in it. Very friendly service. There were no lifts in the hotel and it was a bit of a crystal maze trying to find my room but that is the only negative I can report.

We chose the Marriott Hotel for a chilled out weekend break. it has a swimming pool, whirlpool and gym. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The bar and restaurant is all good. Staff friendly and welcoming. Nice quiet area. Close to Dyce Train Station if travelling by train.
