Holiday Inn Express Chicago - Schaumburg - Schaumburg

Our stay was only one night and we were only in the hotel to sleep, but the bed was comfortable and it was a convenient location for our purposes. The breakfast was pretty amazing-- they had about anything breakfast related that you could want! Check-in was quick and easy. It's a good place to stay and affordable for the schaumburg area!

We had a double queen room. It is a very compact room, but we were not there very often, so not that big of deal. No indoor pool was disapointing. The breakfast was more that adequate, and the lady who maintains the breakfast area kept everything well stocked. ALL the people that worked behind the front desk were more than helpful and did everything […] to answer all the questions/directions/etc. that I had!! Close to lots of restaurants ans shopping. Only real downfall is the bar/restaraunt that is attached next door. ITs patrons take a lot of the parking on the weekend and in the morning the parking lot is littered with cans and bottles. Never felt unsafe or had trouble but..... OVerall we had a good experience at this hotel, the people were nice, and it was close to what we needed for that particluar weekend. Read more

For the value, the stay was great! The hotel and rooms were clean and newer remodel. Only the bathroom needed a little TLC, but I have see many worse. Breakfast was excellent, location was very good and staff was very attentive.

Despite the raving feedback this hotel has earned, I have to give it a failing grade. First of all, when I entered a room, I found the bed's sheets rolled up, as though previous occupants have just left. I noted this to the maid in the hallway, and she told me that the room was awaiting "check-up" by a supervisor. Quiet, clean, up-to-date rooms. Close to Woodfied mall and stores. It is nice to have breakfast included, along with refrigerator and microwave in room. The staff was helpful with local restaurant suggestions for dinner.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Fridge in room was nice addition. One bar/restaurant next door, it was OK but not our scene. no real other options walking distance. Tons of restaurants within a few minutes drive. Overall great hotel , everyone at front desk was pleasant and very helpful.

I was very pleased with the quality of my two night stay at the Holiday Inn Schaumburg. I was there on a personal event in the area. The cleanliness of the room was perfect. The bathroom was great, including the shower pressure. The king bed was extremely clean and comfortable, as were the pillows. Any noise from neighboring rooms was reasonably low, […] and the housekeeping staff was very friendly and cheerful. A huge bonus for me was an extremely clean and well maintained outdoor pool, which is not big, but big enough to swim about twelve strokes to get to the other side. This was very nice on a hot August day and balmy night. It faces the back of the outdoor deck of a Snuggery nightspot which gave it some atmosphere, and the hotel has a 7-Eleven right by it for those emergency snacks. I highly recommend this hotel, assuming you are OK with something less than the Four Seasons Hotel chain. Read more

This hotel is much better than one would think for a three star property. The full breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuits, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, coffee, etc.) was fantastic! This hotel was difficult to get to as we were coming from the west on I-90. Had to backtrack to get to it. It was old and in need of updating. The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. On a positive note, it had a nice cable lineup and breakfast was very good. We had 3 people in this tiny room, so it wasn't very comfortable for us.
