My sister and I stayed a short overnight stay during an overnight layover after returning from Europe. It's close to the airport and they have an airport shuttle. We did have to wait about 30 minutes to be picked up with all the stops they make at the different terminals. Check-in was easy and the front desk agent was really friendly. The beds are comfy and the rooms are nice and big. The restaurant was nice. There isn't much around as far as food options within walking distance. There was a Denny's but that was about it. They do have a driver that will take you to a restaurant but after an eleven hour flight that's the last thing we wanted to do so we opted to eat at the hotel.

All was well except that the heat (I live in Belize and 67 degrees F was the highest the temp would raise.) had to be adjusted by a technician who opened a grate. Appreciated the higher temperature. Didn't know the morning buffet required a discount coupon. Embarrassing.

One particular staff person made the stay AWFUL. The manager and another staff person tried to accommodate, but the damage Was done. Adjoining rooms with LOUD guests. Starbucks in Lobby was not staffed and they didn't have a full compliment of drinks. At 8:00 am (NO DARK ROAST). The location was good for being centered around everything we needed to do. Room was comfortable. No good views. Cookies are always great. If you have no other option it's a good choice.

Walls were paper thin and noise all through the night. There was an awful smell during the night of garbage. I was on floor 2 ans sudpect I was above the employee break room and hotel garbage. Inferior to other Doubletree Hotels and to other hotels near DFW

Rooms are very dated. Water is shower had very little preasure. Drunk person singing in the hallway at 1:30am. Was charged an extra $50 for something have no idea why, said it was a service charge thats standard? Will never stay in this hotel again. Should be looked into. Not very professional as far as I can see.

It would have been fine, but the faucet in the bathtub was very loose... the maintenance guy came and showed my husband how to pull it hard and make it work... he said he would come back and fix it, but it would take awhile... it was late and we had an early flight, so we told him not to come back, but when I went to take my shower, the handle pulled out of the wall and I was unable to take a shower.

Close to DFW Airport with free shuttle service. Staff were ok, nothing to brag about (although shuttle drivers were extremely nice). Facility seems older but acceptable. Three-star rating seems about right!

the man at desk had an issue with the way hotels.com set up its reservations and made me sit and wait for over 45min while they tried to resolve it. the manager finally came out and said they could do this without me having to wait. all the while hotel.com on the phone had me on hold while they argued with the guy

After a long day of travel from California and dealing with a rental car fiasco at the airport we made it to our hotel which was conveniently located next to the freeway and a Dennys. After checking in, they young lady swiped my card. I asked if there was going to be a charge and she said no because I had already taken care of the room but there was clearly a 50 dollar convenient fee applied to my credit card. Regardless if it fell off afterward, it was still a charge. But oh well, we went to the room dog tired and settled in when i noticed that there the room was a double bed room instead of the king that we reserved. It was too late in the night to do anything about it so I went to bed with hopes of informing someone at the desk while checking out. When I did so a very unfriendly man working at the desk said to me these words that will never allow me to stay at this hotel again. The words were the following, "Oh well sir, It is what it is." yes sir it is... yes sir it is...

Saved money and paid when I booked the room. However, when I arrived at the hotel, my room had been given away and the hotel was sold out! I was told to go to a hotel down the street and that I would be refunded the 1st night's stay. The hotel I was sent to was awful! I was also told I would have no trouble with an early check in the next day. That was NOT the case. I was told u would have to wait til 3:00 when I arrived. Surprisingly, the louder I got, a room became available. Still waiting for my credit from the first night.

Our room was horribly out dated. We walked into the room and right off the bat noticed several huge stains on the carpet. The bathroom wallpaper was extremely discolored with a couple of odd stains along the side of the toilet. We booked the room for 2 night. The condition of the room was so terrible, we ended up eating our money and leaving after one night (room was non refundable). I am very disappointed in the quality of this Doubletree hotel.

The free shuttle to the airport was great. We stayed the night before our trip at the Double Tree and when we returned a week later we stayed again since the arrival time was late and we were driving to Oklahoma City. We called the hotel when we landed and they promptly had the shuttle pick us up. It was great not worrying about getting out of the airport. Also the bed was so comfortable I did not want to get out of it the next morning.

Four of us stayed the night here before catching a flight out of DFW. We picked this place for the airport shuttle and to be picked up when we returned five nights later. Excellent staff who took care of us getting to and from the airport!

We would sleep on a chair at the airport before going back! This is not a hotel that should be called a Doubletree! It was filthy, dirty carpet, stains on ceiling, bathroom subpar, linens so thin that they were transparent. The only good thing was it was incredibly small and cramped so the ugliness was limited by space. Staff surly and said the only other room available was next to laundry and we would hear it all night. The staff said they get frequent complaints from people who are used to Doubletree quality and they hope to start renovations in a couple months. Not good for us --never again there! Is this the new Doubletree brand? Shabby in everyway?

Very unhappy. I was told I had to stay on the first floor because I had a dog!!!but they charge $50 a night if you have a pet. Room was dirty, reception staff were rude and unhelpful. The worst Doubletree hotel on this Planet!!!!! The shuttle driver however was awesome. Will never stay there again

This was the second time I used the Expedia feature book a 3-4 star hotel near our desired location, and then you get the name of the hotel. Kinda risky, but for the second time all went well. This time, however, the first room assigned to us was not very clean or appealing. One of the lamps was broken, the bed looked rumpled, and there was someone's stored dinner in the mini-fridge. The staff moved us to another room on the same floor, and all was well with the world.

Swamp box A/C unit extremely loud. Shower broken, luckily I am handy and was able to fix so I could take a shower for my 9 AM meeting. I was in town for only 24 hours and needed a place to stay, but this hotel needs some improvements for me to stay again when I am there on (frequent) business.

Missed flight arrived at 1:20 am asked for a wake up call at 5am did not get called at all. This was the reason why we chose to stay at hotel to be on time and it failed. When we came down stairs at 5:20 we told rep was still the same one and she said sorry. That sorry did not help.

Toilet should not be clogged. Maintenance person unclogged toilet, but splashed water on the floor. Shower should not be clogged. Room key card did not work, had to get it fixed, then the next day it did not work again and had to get it fixed again. Bathroom smelled bad. Front desk people had an attitude instead of being sorry for our bad experience.

Check-in went quickly. They room was old and outdated. Unfortunately it was across the hall from the gym so every time someone dropped the weight stack it echoed into the room. The bed was comfortable, but the min-refrigerator made a racket and had to be unplugged. I don't think I would go back at this point.

The hotel is centrally located for many of the communities surrounding DFW. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I liked how the room also had a microwave and small refrigerator. I didn't really use any sort of hotel "service".

The hotel was clean but nothing out of the ordinary. It is conveniently located near the airport, which was a plus since we were flying out of DFW the next day. They gave us a room on the Executive floor. We expected the room to look a little more classier. Looked like any other standard room. It wasn't worth the price, but, it was a clean and decent room.

I chose the Doubletree due to the generally high quality of their hotels for business travel. This specific one is below the average for the chain. There was nothing wrong with it and I would not suggest that you stay away from it since it is clean and convenient to DFW. They also could have a better beer selection at the bar.

It started out rocky, but once they put me in a room with everything right it was great.
