Rooms needed deep cleaning as well as topside cleaning. They were a little dim due to old paint. Beds weren't that comfortable but location was awesome and has access to many restrurants, shopping, mall, and attractions like Blue Bayou Water Park. Overall, it was ok.

Went to check out at 4:45 am and the clerk was sleeping took me 15 minutes for her to open the door after pounding on door ringing the bell and calling on the phone Will not stay there again

Stay was enjoyable.; Wife and I went to spend our anniversary for the day without the kids. Everything was good except the hot tub which is show in the photos of the pool area did not work,contacted front desk around 1pm they said they would contact maintenance to have it turned on. Went back around 7pm and hot tub still did not work.

In the non- smoking rooms had a bad smell to them as if management put something in them to tell if people had smoked or not. Kinda smelled pretty funky

The floor wasn't very clean, found a bobby pin, a penny and a bottle cap. Bathtub didn't drain well. Continental Breakfast was very lacking. Staff was very nice. Very close to I-10.

After ariving, there was no hot water, called the front desk, the lady that answerd said they would get maintenance on it right away. I waited a few minutes, and turned on the shower, it was pure mud, called the front desk and thanked them for turning on the water, then asked them for a filter to clean out the dirt, The owner of the hotel came down and appoligized for the dirty water she mentioned that they had a water main fixed earlier in the week. The room stunk like mold, the shower curtain had mold on the inside and has never been cleaned the owner did take it down and took it out of the room. The front window curtains are too short and do not cover the window, only a lite sheer curtain covers the window.

Awful. Room stunk. The towels were so thin you could read a newspaper through them. The bathtub was nasty. The walls were so thin you could hear the people next door having a conversation (and then doing other things during the night). Very disappointed.

It was ok but have seen better. I believe they should go over check out and breakfast times with you when checking in no matter if customer knows or not. Clean room except few stains on pillow and stuff. Could have been much better..I will stick to my usual hotel though

This was the WORST hotel expire emcee I have ever had. I air dried after I got out of the shower bc I did not want to touch the towels. There was hair on the shower curtain and in the since from the customer's beforehand. I laid my clothes out across the bed and slept on too bc I didn't want to touch the dirty sheets. I felt like everything in the room was filthy and not washed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

This hotel is one that services workman that live there. Contents of bed and room smelled of musty odor. Continental breakfast was not worth a breakfast at all. So I will not pick this hotel again in my future.

Overall the hotel was ok. Only complaint is that the ac is off until you check into room. I reserved the room a few days prior and I feel the ac should be on and roomed cooled. If there trying to save money, trust me its a lot more expensive to cool a room off then to maintain at a decent temperature!

Louisiana summer you need a working AC. This hotel was run down and dirty. Breakfast was a joke. If you like ramen noodles for breakfast this may be the place for you. I will never stay there again. I ask the front desk about the AC. She told me to write a hotel review. That helped us cool down..Not.

A large group of us stayed the night, we had 2 non-smoking rooms and 1 smoking, you could tell the difference in the non-smoking room. We had an awsome stay and would stay again anytime we are in Baton Rouge. The desk clerk was very nice, the breakfast was not so great but most of us wasn't eating anyway.

The hotel itself is ok customer service was horrible the attendant was very rude. And inside the room was a pamphlet telling you that they're going green and conserving entergy and you have to use the same towels. I caught hell trying to get more but I finally got some and tge attendant wrote it down like I was a criminal and was planning to steal them or something.

I was disappointed in the overall condition of the room. The A/C barely worked and the room could stand an update. It may have been clean but it was really hard to tell because it appeared "dingy".

We come to Baton Rouge once a year & this is where we stay because of the price but there was a significate price increase this year! I could've rented a nicer hotel for the same price. Our room was by the sewer so the smell wasn't good in our room. This time the hot tub worked so that was a plus. For the price that we paid, we will start staying at another hotel that will be much nicer

Rooms smelled uncleaned and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom, yard (long grass), public bathrooms very unclean. The air condition worked well and the bed was okay. I don't mind a older hotel as long as it is clean and maintained.

There was no milk for the cereal, no spoons and no one to get some. The girl that was taking reservations and checking people out was rude. Our refrigerator stopped during the night and we didn't know it until we left and had to throw all our food away. When I complained, the girl said I should have told them earlier. How could I? I didn't know until we got up. I wouldn't stay here again for free.

I choose this hotel because of it's location. Boy was I wrong. The young lady at the front desk was nice, the lobby was nice but that's where it ended. I was given a room in facing the pool. Which was supposed to have closed at 9pm, it didn't. The air conditioning barely worked and though I asked for a non smoking room it reaked of smoke. Overall I would give it a negative 10 if I could

We were traveling cross country and we booked the place online because it was conveniently located toward New Orleans. We read the complaints from other reviewers about some smell, but we ignored it because it's in the swampland so it should be something to be expected. The lobby was fine, but as we got in the room, there was nothing expected about the smell that invaded our noses. The human nose should adapt to the smell in about 6 minutes, but we still smelled it the next morning. The breakfast selection was limited and after having it, I would recommend skipping it. You get what you pay for and this is a cheap place. I'm not sure if I emphasized it enough: the smell was bad and someone should address the issue. Unless you have a condition which prevents you from detecting even the most concentrated forms of the most foul odors, do yourself a favor and cough up some change for a better place.
