Hotel looked fine, rooms clean & maintained, but in bathroom over lavatory, what appeared to be mold-elevator out of service, which desk clerk seemed to be unaware of, though another guest said it had been down for a couple of days-none too happy with 1-800 reservation service, which mispronounced the name so bad, we actually only stopped there for […] directions. The rooms were terrible. the service was pathetic. TV's didn't work. Bathrooms were dirty and when you called for service you were told that housekeeping was gone for the day.

Seemed to be in need of some maintenance, electric outlet in room did not work, one light was out, no knob on closet door to open it. No coffee packets in room to use in coffee pot. The room was much cleaner than expected, we were scared by the smells and condition of the hallway but thankfully more attention had been paid to the room. However, we were walked in on at least FOUR times by hotel staff in TWO DAYS because they didn't have us listed as checked-in, DESPITE our "Do not disturb" sign in the door. Breakfast was okay, the […] juice was watered down and they didn't really have condiments/options... but it was free so I can't complain about that too much. Staff seemed to have a lot of issues with their computers so checking in and out took at least a half an hour each. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean, the beds were really comfortable. We came for the Beale Street Music fest and I think next time I'd rather spring for something closer. Not too shabby, but not the best hotel either. Read more

the beds where very comfy, but everything else was awful! The wall caddiesand outlets would pop out if touched/used, the hot tub was cold, the breakfast was throown together bya blind kid, the pool was filthy and full of neighborhood kids playing while auntie worked, the employees were rude, there was NOT and iron, trash can, or a fridge in the room, […] the wifi could only be used in the lobby area, no premium tv channels or pay per view options, and there was an undisclosed party held there with loud music until way too late and a slew of little kids drinking and slamming doors! I called down for some help with the complaints/concerns and all I got were 2 extra towels...one looked as if it was used to do an oil change! No Customer Service at all. Power went out at 3 AM. No lights in hall way, rooms, or step well. The power was off for almost 12 hours. The spa was broke. They had breakfast until 9:30 got there at 8:00 there was no food left. They had no bowls for cereal and said they wouldn't bring anymore out. The coffee pot didn't work. For the price, I expected much more. The hotel, while clean, felt dirty because it is so poorly maintained. Half of the equipment in the "work out facility" were non functioning. The Pillows were nice. wall paper pealing off the walls, bath tub wont drain, shotty patchwork... limited free breakfast, 'cause they didn't get delivery? Those pesky wall HVAC's are difficult to regulate a good temperature. If I had to pay full price I would be more upset.

My husband for whom I made the reservation for who.has been on the road driving all day, comes into.the.hotel to be told he is unable to.check in under my name. The credit card is in my name, we have been doing this for years. Still we called hotels.com and changed the name while he waited exhausted in the lobby. By morning he has found 2 hair bands […] on the floor next to.the bed, there is no.regular coffee in the room and the tub would not drain. So.he.stood in standing water to shower. The receptionist at the front rest in the morning was rude and lazy. The continental breakfast consisted of a tiny muffin that was not any good and here again no coffee. It's morning coffee is a staple. The overall cleanliness of.the hotel was not great at all, and the customer service was just as bad. The receptionist upon check out asked about the problem my husband had and he proceeds to.tell her of the filthy room and.she stops him and say sir I'm talking about the name having to.be changed. So now.she's accusing him of fraud. This is very bad customer service. Very poor maid service and the breakfast might as well not even be breakfast. Read more

Room smelled of smoke or mildew and in middle of the night the the heater started popping and spa rks were coming out of heater.
