The only negative about this hotel is its location. Back in a bussiness park.... Not easy to find at first.. On the bright side the service was good the room clean and comfortable. And the bar/rest had cold beer and good food.cc

No hot water in the shower. It took 3 phone calls to the front desk to get a maintance person to look at it. He was great and found an empty room for me to take a shower in - the front desk had refused to do so. Water in my room never did get fixed. Nice hotel. I may stay there again. It was picked by someone else in the family but it worked out fine as far as location. It is slightly older but in good shape. The thermostat was difficult to find as it was behind the curtains.

Upon checking in I expected a decent hotel because the rate was not cheap and the expectation of the crown plaza is nice. Front desk people appeared nice but when questioned about reassurance that our room was truly a non smoking room due to medical allergies they looked me in the eye and lied because they placed us in a room that smelled like a smoke […] stack...the front desk with an attitude sighed and said "still" we knew it was bad yesterday but thought it was better... Grrr, really!!! Moved us to a dumpy room with a broken light, carpet holes, hair in both beds on sheets, filthy comforters and poo in the toilet as well as toilet paper...plain gross and disgusting!!! Third trip to front desk and attitudes were flying they placed us in their last available room which was definitely decorated nicer but still dirty! Food on nightstand and hair in bathroom floor and sink...blah! Now to the beds, the pillows are made for babies and are Terrible very flat and flimsy! Mattress comfortable though! Went to get a drink and vending machine on our floor was broken! As the evening went on neighbors across the way began smoking and it poured Into our room...when the front desk was called they said it happens but if they can catch the person a fee would be assessed upon their checkout...as I explained who cares my child will end up ill as will I and there was no sympathy or a resolution!!! The hotel was clean and the staff was eager to help. My room was comfortable and clean but the bathroom needed some work. The caulking and grout were worn and there was rust on the overhead fire sprinkler system. Got a great night sleep here and was on a business trip, so it worked out well for me.

The lobby and room were updated, clean and comfortable. The hallways were dark and dated. The walls were thin; you could hear people talking as they walked in the halls. The air conditioning worked great but was very noisy. Overall our stay was good and we would stay here again.

I've stayed at much better Crownes before. The room floor was sticky in some spots and we found some trash on the floor hidden under the bed skirts. When we attempted to go to the swimming pool with our kids, we continued to get stares from the adults there who seemed to view the pool as a bar only and not a place to swim or play. The room service breakfast […] was lukewarm at best, and the potatoes downright cold. The person who took our order mumbled a lot and seemed confused. Still, the people at the reception desk were great, the facility, except our room, was really nice as was the location. Not at all what I expected for a 3-star rating or for a Crowne Plaza. The HVAC was loud, the hot water carafe provided for tea from room service tasted like bad coffee, clearly not well cleaned. I wanted to check out early but due to having prepaid via expedia, it was not possible without a manager's approval, and the manager was not on site until the […] next morning. Very poor service- the registration staff "lost" my reservation two days in a row. I called the day prior to my visit to confirm my reservation and was told I had no reservation and was mistaken or had called the wrong hotel, only to have it eventually found under an incorrect spelling. It was not corrected and the same thing happened when I arrived. […] I was turned away and it took getting the manager to convince them to keep looking for my reservation. Again, it was found. The room was a No Smoking room, but it reeked of stale cigarette smoke. The room was poorly decorated and the decor clashed, and the bay window held a stunning view of a brick wall. We were extremely late in arriving and early in leaving. Seriously, we did not spend more than 8 hours here, if that. The beds were marginally comfortable, while the pillows were completely unforgiving. Turning on the lights was an intelligence test, and truly only one wall switch seemed to work. The bed side light was non-existent. Besides beds our […] only other necessity was a shower; sadly, that was a shoulder tensing get-in, get-out wash out, as the shower head itself was useless. It took us 20 minutes from the time of the wake up call to be out the door and on the road. No lingering for us. It was excessively humid in the rooms, to the point that the sheets and the carpet were damp. Damp carpet = mugginess = smell. The pillows were too soft, there were stains on the sheets and comforter, and the air conditioning unit was so loud that it made it impossible to sleep through the night. I dreaded every time I had to return to my hotel room. […] I asked to be moved to another room which had a window giving onto the parking lot, rather than the lobby, but they were not able to accommodate my request.
