We were in town for my daughters college graduation and had many activities going on, so it was a late check-in, otherwise had we had more time, I would have found a different hotel. The staff was very friendly, but I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of our room and condition of the hotel. Upon walking into our room, there was a styrofoam cup […] with a straw and half drank cup of soda on the stand .... garbage had not been dumped which made us wonder if the room had even been cleaned after the previous guest. The comforters had holes in them, and the carpet had holes patched with duct tape. I cleaned the bathroom and disinfected the shower before using it. I have stayed at Quality Inn Hotels in the past and have never been unhappy ~ but the Wilkes Barre Quality Inn definitely changed that. Read more

I was expecting a suite to be 2 rooms and some kind of kitchen with utensils and plates. Instead it was a hotel room with a bed a couch bed a microwave and a small fridge. Staff was great. Did not use any amenities.

I normally stay at this motel for all my visits to Wilkes Barre. This visit was I was here for 3 night stay. My first morning there was not hot water. I called the front desk and was told the breaker was blown and they had a "specialist" there working on it. And that there should be hot water in 15 to 20 minutes. I was told "If I really needed to shower […] I could be to the Host Inn" but there would be hot water in 15 to 20. But "if i MUST shower I could". I felt this was rude as I was there on business and of course needed to shower. But since I was made to feel they didn't want me to go to the Host Inn I didn't not get a shower that day. I've never been made to feel like an invconvience to a motel before. My employer was paying for this stay and a shower is surely something I would expect to get if nothing else. Read more

Very small room. Shower alternated between too hot and too cold while in use. Room did not have a safe as described. Noisy heater. Horrible breakfast. No pay per view channels. TV lost signal whenever vacuum would run in other rooms. The only reason I'm giving it a 2 on the overall rating is because I didn't see any cockroaches.

room definately needed updating, door to room was poorly insulated and wind blew in and was difficult to open, heater was very noisy, my room was close to parking and heard trucks pulling in and parking. front desk staff was very nice and helpful. driver to airport was also very nice. would not reccommend this motel to anyone.

The best part of the room was that the bed was comfortable and that Friday's was attached. Other than that, the room wasn't great. The vent in the bathroom was exposed. Nice, clean hotel for the price. Indoor pool across at the neighboring hotel was clean, warm, and relaxing with towels provided. Hotel was in a good location with easy access to the ski resorts. Beds were comfortable and room as pretty clean. Bathroom needed updating and was not happy that the pool and spa use was in another hotel. Breakfast each morning was pretty good with lots of options.

Great experience. No complaints. Handy to have the TGI Fridays attached to the hotel, and a wonderful breakfast buffet, where you can make your own waffles.

This was a poor price-value. The breakfast, including the coffee, was inedible. The room was run-down and looked like it had not been updated since the 1970's. Teh air conditioner made a racket. The employees talked loudly outside the room early in the morning. It was hardly worth well over $100 a night.

This is a good hotel; everything was pretty much average, from the check-in welcome to the small details (shampoo and conditioner but no lotion; total of two full-sized towels; no extra blankets). Location was very good and convenient, very clean, and we had no complaints, but it was nothing special.
