Holiday Inn Downtown - Missoula

The room was too warm at night. I turned the thermostat down and it still was way too warm in the room. Other than that, the hotel was okay. I would stay there again, if I had to.

So sad we could only stay one night. We used the "unpublished hotel" feature so didn't know what to expect. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. Overall the Holiday Inn Parkside is a decent place to stay, but it's beginning to slip a bit. Our room had a missing light bulb, a dirty vent and grout in the bathroom, but for the most part was clean. Great location, great service, great comfort. We could not figure out how to rotate the very nice TV so that my wife and I could watch while our daughter slept, and some guests had trashed the pool the night before our daughter swam, but a staff member came and cleaned it soon. I would stay there again.

The Holiday Inn is in downtown Missoula. Almost everything is within walking distance. It's located right on the bike/walking path on the banks of the Clark Fork river. The restaurant had incredible food and was very reasonably priced.

In our first trip to Missoula to visit a friend for his birthday, my wife and I booked a standard two bed room for our trip. We spent two nights and three days in the hotel and were very happy with the level of cleanliness, friendly staff and downtown location. The closest thing to an issue was the day we checked in--the room next to ours had two barking […] dogs. After being made aware, the front desk promptly dealt with the disturbance, and we had no further issue for the duration of our stay. Rate was very good. Room needed some minor maintenance. The remote was SOOOOOOO worn that all the numbers had been worn off and it didn't always work well. Yes, very friendly. I asked for a room on the bottom floor and they said no problem and I was check-in within 5 minutes. Get pool for the kids. The hot tub was out of order, but I understand these things happen.

I booked this room literally 30 minutes before checking in, On the outskirts of Missoula I Googled Expedia and took a chance with the deep discount, unknown facility option. The desk clerk can either make or break your stay. No directions to the 4th floor where the room number sign directory was gone from the wall. When she was told I had already spoken with someone about our reservation she told me the woman I spoke with did not know what she was talking about. This is your traditional downtown Holiday Inn in a small town. Reasonable and with needed facilities for business meetings etc. It is less suited tomthe traveler stopping for the nightnas there are other more freeway close options. No breakfast included at this location but there is full restaurant.

The location near the river, the Trail Head sports equipment store, Fact and Fiction Bookstore and the Pearl Cafe makes up for a lot. Although the hotel had been renovated, the design quality was pretty low. It's too bad that isn't part of the ratings system. Nevertheless, the hotel served as a good base of operations in Missoula.

The staff was more than helpful from check in to suggestions for dining! The hotel is convenient to downtown and one can easily drive to other MIssoula attractions.. There are great restaurants in the area, good shopping. The hotel's restaurant was great for breakfast. Spacious, new, clean rooms. The only minor complaint about our stay was there's only one entrance and exit which is usually fine expect this time we had our dogs with us. It was quite a trek getting them in and out of the hotel. Otherwise, everything was great!

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel in Missoula in the last 2 years and both times service was great. We travel with our yellow lab and we felt very welcome both stays. There is a great park area adjacent to the hotel for morning walks and a great farmers market next door on Saturday mornings.
