My wife and I stay in La Quintas quite a bit while on the road because they take dogs. This is the shabbiest La Quinta I have stayed in. There isn't anything particularly wrong with it but the overall condition of the rooms and grounds was less than I expect for this chain. Regarding dogs, we didn't have our well-behaved one along on this trip but the […] guests on the other side of the wall left to yapping dogs alone in the room for the better part of the evening. Thankfully, we were gone most of the day but other guests complained. This is the dark side of hotels and pets, I suppose. Management was at least apologetic enough to refund some of the stay to another couple who listened to it all day. I still like La Quintas for taking dogs and having very reasonable rates (especially through internet sites) but this particular location was underwhelming. Read more

Good location and that was about it. Our room was not ready for almost 4 hours after check in time (we drove 8 hours and said we would go eat & was told would call us when room was ready.Never called and we finally came back & check in again to see if ready), they didnt seem to concerned. Room was just ok, clean but very old and rundown. tub was peeling […] and rusty. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and husband ended up sleeping in the chair. Front desk staff was not knowledgable of the area at all. Feel like I way over paid when a guest in front of me paid less then half what I did. Worse of all, the staff just didnt seem to care. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom needs cleaning and updating. There was an enormous door to the bath that blocked the sink. Don't know what that was about. Overall it was much better than my last stay at this motel. The staff is always helpful and courteous!

For an inexpensive hotel La Quinta is very nice. The staff was great, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it is near everything. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and will stay there again when I am in town.

Great location for Channel Island NP, Property is not well maintained. The keys to the doors stopped working after 24 hours and the staff wanted us to change rooms The new room had no frig. or microwave. Price was good. Room was OK. Staff was very nice.

The room was very clean. I was surprised that not only there was a fridge but a microwave too. The fridge was making some occasional noises so I just unplugged it. The front staff at the hotel were very nice and accommodated my requests for a quiet room away from foot and any freeway traffic noise. Hello, My stay was not enjoyable at all.I will not be staying in this hotel again. There were NO TOWELS in the room whatsoever, and I only discovered this in the morning, because when I arrived I ate and quickly went to bed. I did not think I would have to check the room to make SURE there were towels as I am under the impression this comes standard. […] Also, when you first turn on the water in the sink, the water pressure is so hard it covers everything, including ones clothes before you get the chance to get it under control. Instant mess! Also, before going to bed I called to request a wake up call, which I NEVER received. Fortunately, due to the person I spoke to sounding like he had no idea of how to set it up, I set the alarm on my cell phone and got up based on that alone. I actually brought my concerns to the front desk manager who replied "we are currently going throug some hotel issues right now" she apologized and asked me to give them another chance. Soemthing I should not have to do in the business world of hotels when there are so many other locations nearby to choose from. It was very good except for the un-foreseen power outage. The hotel staff did an excellent job coping with it. I was impressed with their solutions to the problem I had with my elderly mother who can't climb stairs, no elevator service and our room being on the 3rd floor. Would I stay there again? Most certainly.

This property was just all right. The room was clean but needs updating, especially the bath/dressing area. The breakfast in the morning was very marginal, only cereal, yoghurt, toast, juice and fruit. The waffle maker was broken when we visited. There are some excellent restaurants not too far away but be warned if you want a good quick breakfast.
