The stay at the Marriott was really good. However, I have to complaints: 1) The hotel was advertised on your website as having a sauna. It did not have a sauna. I did call your customer service department and a refund was order on the last two nights I was due to stay at the hotel, which was great. However, I had the inconvenience of having to book […] another hotel, and pay an extra $21.96. And 2), I had to get some work done between 8PM-10PM, but the internet was not working properly. "Best breakfast ever"
The Marriott standard of two double beds or a king with rollaways doesn't really suit 2 adults and 2 kids - I ended up on the floor after a few hours with my fidgeting 11 year old. I wish Marriott had rooms with 2 queen beds - next time we will go for the king, and bring two air mattresses for the kids! We got breakfast included in our room fee, though, […] and it was amazing - the BUFFET has made-to-order omelettes and waffles, and there are also plenty of fruits, cereals and other hot dishes. We swam in the pool and used the hot tub twice - once on check in night, and once the next morning before check out (which is nice and late at 12pm). Super nice rooms with beds that felt like sleeping on a cloud. Hotel was having issues with room keys but they took care of us and were very professional. The hotel is NOT on the airport grounds so you are assured a great night's sleep. Their shuttle van is prompt on departure AND pick-ups, AND you can arrange to have your car parked on THEIR site while you fly to another destination! We paid an additional amount when booking the hotel to include the breakfast, and we are glad we did as the meal was a bit higher than we would have wanted to pay. This was my second time staying at that hotel in nearly two months. My stay was superb. Comfortable bed, clean room and wonderful staff. "Noisy Hallways, Broken A/C, No Free WiFi"
Great location, spacious room with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. I give this hotel a "Poor" rating for 3 reasons: 1) You have to pay for internet in your room. Very surprised by this since many hotels offer free WiFi. 2) It was extremely noisy. A wedding reception was going on in the lobby (which permeates to the 3rd floor) and it was chaotic. […] The walls in the room are thin and you can hear other guests. Also, loud guests/children would roam the halls and staff ignored it. 3) The A/C in our room was broken. The thermostat read 68 degrees but it felt like 80 degrees. Only stayed at this hotel because of the price. Next time, I'll just "splurge" and go to the Hampton Inn. When we initially checked in on 6/18/11 upon laying on the bed I found blood on the pillow sham that I was laying on. I feel that finding blood anywhere in the let alone on a pillow sham that I was laying on is highly unacceptable. i spoke with a supervisor who offered to have everything changed out however, the housekeeping gentleman didn't speak much […] English, he came and took the pillow and I asked him to change all of the bedding opposed to being moved to another room, the gentleman just left a new pillow sham in the room and never made the bed or sent anyone back to re-make the bed with clean linen.We were also sent a coupon for 20% off of in room dining or free breakfast at the hotel restaurant. I felt that that was the least that should have been offered because this is blood, human bodily fluids we are talking about! The tv in our room was tiling and the audio didn't make the video. We called down to the front desk who sent an engineer to look at the tv. Not to mention that hotel directory book was missing the entire restaurant section. Finally after eating breakfast in the hotel restaurant (not so good food, the best thing there was the omelette and the chocolate milk), I used the lobby laboratory only to find ants all over the floor. The best part of our trip was the hot tub and the hospitality we were shown by every employee we crossed. The people there truly made the difference between a horrible stay and a good stay. We stayed here for an early flight out of Pittsburgh and was very satisfied. It is very close to shopping and restaurants(driving distance) and the shuttle service to the airport was fabulous. My wife and I went to see the Phillies and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Well, the Phillies did not do as well as we did. We were greeted at 12:30am on June 3rd bythe desk staff with open arms. We had taken our grandaughter at the very last minute and called the hotel on our way to Pittsburgh to get a roll-away bed in our room. When we arrived, the roll-away […] was in the room. The next morning I called the desk for an extra towel and it seemed that the staff was at my door seconds after I had hung up. We noticed that the room was without a refrigerator and I mentioned it to the desk and before I got to my room, here comes a staff member with the refrigerator. If all hotels were like this one, traveling accomendations would be great. I would like to thank the management and staff for such a great stay. . .
