"Not worth the money"
We had arranged in advance for the hotel to have a car meet us at the airport. Instead of curb service, the driver parked the car more than two blocks away and we had to walk - luggage and all. We arrived in the morning after a long overnight flight and we had to wait at the hotel over four hours for a room. If you're looking for a nicer hotel, upscale area, I would not recommend this one. BUT, the 'deluxe' room was unavailable n maybe that makes a difference? Our room was clean but dingy. He put us into a Jr. Suite which was 'satisfactory'. Furnishings outdated, room still smelled smoky, especially at the bed even tho he said it was a non-smoking floor. So they brought a fan in! That one didn't rotate either. No internet again. Tech determined the wireless only worked in certain spots in the room. Not on the bed... He did send a fruit plate and a bottle of wine, which was appreciated. I did NOT feel good about walking in the area. Final disappointment: someone raved in reviews about the chef being the 'best in the city'. "Traditional style hotel"
Lovely large room with Mountain views. Great location for the metro system. I hired a car (mistake!) but the hotels location on a main route into the city centre meant navigating was easy and fairly quick into Providencia. Free parking was a bonus as was the welcome drink.
