For the money this unit was excellent. It was like a little apartment as opposed to merely a hotel room. It was clean and had all the needed accessories. The weather didn't cooperate so we didn't get to take advantage of the large pool and deck or the easy beach access, but they are certainly selling points . The gate security gave one a sense of comfort […] and safety. The restaurants on the premises provide a great convenience.This location was convenient to the bike path. Really enjoyed my stay at this resort. It was on the beach and it had it's own private pool with a small tiki bar that provided food and alcohol. The location was perfect. I will be staying here at this location again in the future.

One reason it is called 'off seasoin' for a reason. No issues with the grounds, security, hotel or parking. They were all nice and adequate. Being from the West Coast and trying to enjoy the finer things in life to their 5 star fullest, I have not been a major East Coast fan exept of course the oysters and fresh fish are as good as it can get on either […] coasts, and I had plenty! This is an old vacation rental property. We expected the usual hotel amenities based on the property description. We did have a hair dryer, but no toiletries or basics. No coffee packets. We had to find a grocery store just to take a shower! The property is maintained adequately, but needs an update!

For the price a very good location and room. I am not sure all the rooms have been redone like ours but ours was bright with fresh paint and bright furnishings. It is not like the condo's we have stayed in with washer and dryer in room, but they were available on sight. I was more disappointed in Hilton Head itself. We have been to Sanibel, Naples, […] Daytona, Myrtle Beach, Destin, SanDestin, Panama City, and Charleston, and I would pick any of those over Hilton Head. Hilton Head is made for the golfer and the shopper and we are neither. Everywhere you turn are shopping malls and golf courses. The size and location of our room was perfect. The blinds didn't work and some outlets and lighting didn't work. What really amazed me was that they didn't supply clean towels. When I called about the towels guest services was rude. We also had to ask for dish washing liquid which was supposed to be supplied. Oh, and the screen door fell on me! It's an older complex that's been renovated. For our weekend stay, it was fine. For a weeklong stay, we would need washer and dryer in the room, so this wouldn't work. It was pretty clean and it was enough room.

I was very disappointed in this "resort". The hotel is more like a bad apartment complex. The rooms are old and decorated with very old tacky furniture. The hotel is beach front but the beach isn't very nice. It doesn't compare to the white beaches in Destin, FL. I will not be staying here again.

I stayed in B10 in the Tennis area. It needed some serious updating. The living room furniture was old, very dirty and UNCOMFORTABLE! The entire condo was very dusty. The guest bathroom lavatory faucet was broken. I have rented many condos over the years for my vacation, but this was the worst.

It is true the hotel is at the beach, but you have to know more details about it. They don't have daily housekeeping, if you want to have your linens during your stay you have to pay extra, they only provide the start toiletries for your stay, then you will have to provide your own. If you want to use the tennis courts at night you have to pay extra […] for the power, $5 per half an hour. The suite is old and needs an update really bad such as the faucets, the tub, the Kitchen, the countertops, cabinets, etc. The Sofa bed at the living Room is the worst, we couldn't use it, you feel all the springs, and it is impossible to rest, we had to buy an inflatable bed at Wal-mart. This was falsely advertised as a hotel. Make NO mistake, it was a beach rental, NOT a hotel. Bring your own soap, shampoo, extra towels, etc. There is an extra charge if you want clean towels brought in. There were a few glasses provided in the kitchen/kitchenet, however, all were dirty since they didn't provide any dish soap to wash them and the cleaning […] crew (outsourced, no hotel housekeeping staff) that cleans between clients didn't check. Two glasses were broken. Luckily, I didn't cut myself when I tried washing them. The place was relatively clean, however, some mold in the bathroom. Bottom line, bring your own everything, including trash bags as you are expected to take your own trash out. Hardly a hotel. Read more

We were told there were no elevators in the buildings during booking so we were moved to a 1st level room in Admirals Row. We actually found there are elevators, so if we book again we would most likely book in one of the other buildings that is more in the center of the resort. The walk from Admirals row to the main pool was kind of far and there were […] no front walk ways so you had to go to the rear of the resort and then walk back up. I felt the pools looked dingy and we didn't spend much time in them. probably just a fresh paint job would make them look much better. Also, the building hallways had a continuous light on so at night it was hard to get the bedrooms dark with the vertical blinds. Curtains are totally the way to go. The resort is older and could use a few minor updates here and there, but for the prices, it makes a vacation easier to afford and it was a pleasant week. It's a short walk to the beach from any of the buildings and there are easy access ramps for strollers and wagons. The front desk staff was pleasant and when we had key issues, they took care of them very promptly. Check in and out times (4pm and 10am) are not the most convenient to be able to get the most of your stay. I would prefer a check in more around 2pm and check out at least 11am. Overall, the stay was very nice and we will definitely book here again. Read more

Perfect for a family that doesn't want to have to go out to eat for every meal, while it's still relatively close to restaurants and grocery store and has a pizza place in the lobby. Good condo for the money. The one bedroom was set up to sleep 6 people but I would not want to be in a small space like that with more than 2 -3 people. There is only one bathroom and a very small living and kitchen area.

We were happy to have the beach and pool right there near us. The rooms were not cleaned well, wet towels were stuffed in the drawers, sand on the chairs on the patio and the bathroom was dirty. The staff were pleasent and overall the facilties were clean. We were very pleased with the amenities and location. We plan to come back again.

The carpeting in the bedrooms were stained with red stains and brown stains that were large. Very disgusting. We asked for 2 queen size beds and after we got there we found out that none of the rooms had that and that Expedia had only requested it. Therefore we were forced to have my husband and I sleep in twin beds during our vacation so we had space […] for our children to sleep. We stayed 3 nights in a two bedroom/ 2 bath condo. Our unit was clean and fairly spacious for the 5 of us, but in need of updating and some maintanence. Older resort, large pool, near ocean.
