Hotel was perfect, clean, neat, free breakfast was great and tasty. Not much around to do, but it is a very quite town. Couldn't ask for much more given the location.

We found the in room carpet not clean, one of the curtains hanging off a broken curtain attachment, the bathroom in need of maintenance for dings on the walls, a loose toilet that moved when sat on, and updating (ie: No fan for moisture control; shower spray pitiful), the in room air conditioner loud throughout the night kicking on and off, and the […] breakfast was a sit-down affair after getting a ticket from the front desk. For breakfast, there were only a few choices and if you are in a hurry, not conducive to getting out the door quickly, especially if there is a line. Outside access to the room would be hard if it were raining. There is not a lot of cover. The nice part was being next to the pool to oversee the kids swimming, and having a place to stay after a long day of driving. Read more

the refrigerator was not cold when we arrived. my wife is diabetic and needs to refrigerate her insulin. the ice machine on upper floor looked destoyed, not working. after walking around i found one. other than that it was o.k.... beds were comfortable

The staff were awesome, professional and friendly. The room however was musty and smelled worse after it was cleaned. Perhaps the rooms should be aired out more frequently.

They did not have our room reserved. They stuck us in a room with one bed when I requested a double. It stunk so bad and the toilet seat was broken, you couldn't sit on it.

The hotel was nice and convenient and the staff were nice and professional. The breakfast was a very nice added plus and was served quick and tasted good. My only challenge was hotel guests standing by the front door smoking (outside) when we arrived that were probably attending a party in the lounge. This hotel is really the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The fire alarm went off when I tried to turn on the heating and air unit and I had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night and drive 1 hour away to Chesapeake, Virginia because my bed had BED BUGGGS! The worst hotel experience ever. I cancalled that night and the next night's stay!

Nice hotel.. comfortable and as its 40 miles away from Outer Banks can save money for some days. We did save 2 days there and then 2 days on outer banks saved quiet a bit on our trip. Breakfast was not as good Days Inn we lived in Outer Banks. Limited breakfast.

I was very unhappy with this motel. We came in one evening and the bath tub had backed up and then drained again, leaving behind dirt, soap scum and hair from the drain. It took awhile for someone to come to the room. He brought a plunger with him and said it was ok for the next morning. It drain very slowly the next day. Also the two nights that we […] were there other coustomers were having a ;party outside there rooms, I was woken up from a sound sleep two nights in a row. They were yelling, spreaking loudly, slaming the doors of rooms. This continued on for 2 to 3 hours. Not one hotel person come to lower this party. I will never stay in another Quality Inn again. Do NOT waste your money or time at this hotel. The rooms were old and musty. I was to walk on the carpet and the shower wall looked like it would cave in any moment. The attendant carrying the clean towels had sweat dripping off of him and landing in the towels. Our wash clothes had human hair in them. The customer service was rude and untrained.
