My stay was comfortable and pleasant. The rooms were clean, bedding was comfortable. The bathroom arrangement was little awkward but that was not a big deal.

Great Location,right on the service road of Interstate 495. Hotel is pretty decent,it feels more like a motel than an actual hotel?.Lobby is pretty spacious and clean,with a restaurant and bar right by the front desk. Hallways are pretty dark,(feels like a motel more than a hotel,due to the dark carpet and narrow hallways),some hallways smell like cigarette. […] Located so close to the main highway still pretty quiet traffic and car wise.At night you can hear slamming doors from the rooms next to you.I was not aware my room was "downstairs",it felt like going in the basement,i didnt care since i was just staying there for 1 night(3 hours),so if you're staying here i would make sure your room in on the top floor and NOT "downstairs" as they call it. The actual room will make me come back and stay here again,super clean,super comfortable bed,clean sheets,new furniture,small,modern and classy rooms. They are a "eco-Friendly" hotel,so,they only provide you with 2 towels per room,they ask to be re use if possible.Also the outside doors tend not to work,so i had to walk around/outside the building trough the lobby to get to my room,this happened twice. i would probably stay here again,for a quick night,thats about it. Pleasant conditions and helpful staff - even assisted in bringing items to table for breakfast. Tub did not drain but staff quickly said they would take care of it.

I enjoyed my stay so much that I wanted to stay another night! The beds and blankets were so comfortable that it made for an enjoyable sleep. The hotel included a restaurant and bar which was a nice addition. If I am in this area again and need a hotel to stay in this is the one I will go to.

The room was nice except there was no microfridge nor microwave, but it was very clean and it had very nice marble accents, like marble coffee table, marble workspace, etc. There were no batteries in the tv remote. What I disliked was the indoor walkway on the 2nd floor; the carpeting was nice but the windows were not insulated so they were all moist […] and to leave the room to walk down the hall I had to put on a jacket because it was so cold due to the windows. This hotel overall was just "ok" and if I ever had to travel back into the area I may try to find an alternative place. When I first walked in music was BLARING from the hotel bar; apparently there was a wedding party there, but even so it was late at night. The guy at the front desk was a little rude, as was the wait staff. My room wasn't cleaned until […] 2:30 or so, and then later in the afternoon (when I was hoping to get some rest) a staff member abruptly knocked and just about opened my door before I could get to it to check to be sure the room was cleaned... just a little awkward. The carpeting in the hotel itself was dirty. The room was much cleaner. Even the elevator carpeting was worn and dirty. In our room there was no way to close the heavy drapes. Only sheer drapes covered the windows and we were located directly on a hallway, where people could just look in at us.

I really don't like L.I., NY - explanation for neutral "surrounding neighborhood" rating. The overall rating is 4 due to the fact that for some reason CBS wasn't one of the available TV channels, and my favorite show, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson is on CBS, and I couldn't watch it. Otherwise everything was great.

We were dissatisfied with our stay due to the lack of TV programming. We were told that Direct TV was on strike therefore there was a very smal number of TV channels available. Also, we did not care for the window that looked out on the hallway. This lacked privacy.

There was no microwave, refrigerator or complimentary breakfast for all guests. no out looking windows, room are gloomy and dark. Never ending construction and cheap gifts and breakfast to only certain guests with certain cards.

The overall experience was fine. The hotel is definitely an older building that has undergone a renovation and is still being updated. The room was nice and modern and clean. The bathroom looked clean but had a bit of a mildew smell. The tub could have been cleaner and the caulking fixed. My complaints were really centered on the room cleaning. We […] stayed for 8 nights and every day we had a different amount of towels, either 2 or 3, once we were only given 1 and there were 4 of us in the room. It was tiring to have to ask for clean towels all the time. Also, our supply of cups and ice bucket liners was never refreshed. Again I had to ask the front desk for replacements everyday. The staff knew there was no laundry detergent in the machine but they never put up a sign and let it eat our quarters until we went to the front desk to complain. We were told it had been empty for several days... So why couldnt they put up a sign? While we there they were also doing some kind of maintenance and the phone in our room never worked. At least twice a day the electronic key cards were inactivated and we were locked out of our room until we went to the front desk to get them reset. They always apologized, but the situation never changed... For 8 long days. The housekeeping staff was inconsistent and the issues with the phone and keys got quite annoying. But overall it wasn't terrible for the price we paid. Could have been worse. Read more
