"Don't Be Fooled By Photos"
From the photos you would think this was a modern recently remodeled hotel but it is not. Microwave and fridge will cost you an extra $10 per night. Only stayed because we were offered half off the advertised nightly rate, if you had to pay full rate this is not worth it and there are better options in Estes Park even for the reduced price. Had a room […] next to the pool so it was loud early and late into the night. Hotel is about 5min from downtown Estes Park where a lot of the places to eat are. Was everything I thought it would be for the price. Nice pool area and close to downtown...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice room close to Estes Park"
Nice, big room. Older hotel, but clean. Free wifi in room was very good. A free breakfast would have been nice. Great heated pool.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Gross, dirty bathrooms; obviously seldom cleaned."
I stayed two separate nights in two different rooms. The first room was great: comfortable, clean enough, no frills but no complaints. The second room was a different story. It smelled. The beds were saggy. The walls were dirty, as was the bathroom. The shower curtain was covered in either mildew or mold. The bathtub drain was completely clogged, so […] we ended our showers standing in a pool of soapy water filled with little gross floaty bits that had come up from the drain. Seriously, it only a tiny bit of cleaning and maintenance in the bathroom each time a guest leaves to prevent the kind of problems we saw. This told us that this hotel ignored some of the most basic cleaning tasks. We were so happy after our first night in the cleaner room we were eager to stay again. After the experience in the second room, I will never stay here again and will recommend other hotels to friends and family visiting the area. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Messed up reservation"
They did not have a room ready for early check in as requested, no big deal. But then they also did not have the pet friendly room with a King bed available either. We had requested a pet friendly room with a king bed near the pet area. We ended up eventually getting a pet friendly room with two double beds far from the pet area. Finally, there was […] a really large mean dog intimidating all of the other dogs in that wing of the hotel. I know several people had to complain because that dog was attacking any other dog it could. Don't think any dog got hurt but it sure added some stress. The front desk personnel also didn't even know if the restaurant was open for the weekend. As compensation, they did give us two days of free breakfast buffets (this was a nice and appreciated gesture). We have stayed at this hotel for years and find that the new ownership is less than on top of service, house keeping and maintenance. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great place to stay but dissppointed there wasn't a free breakfast. Nothing at all was complimentary.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for the price. Great location."
Very nice stay. This hotel had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, quiet, cable, WiFi. It was in a great location with easy access in and out of the hotel. Plenty of parking. The person at the front desk when we checked in was a little grumpy but he looked tired and maybe he had worked a double shift. Not sure but he did not have a lot of patience […] and was not real friendly. Other than that, I thought this place was great. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
It was ok. we ordered from the restaurant in the hotel and it was very good. The staff was very friendly to us but one couple was threatened with paying for another persons room because their dogs barked too loudly. That is something you must put up with at a dog friendly hotel. It is at the base of the Rockies and easy to find your way around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Rocky Mountain Park Inn just "okay""
Rocky Mountain Park Inn provides an adequate place to stay, but for the price you may want to look elsewhere. The hotel room, furnishings, carpets, curtains, bed, etc. are in desperate need of an upgrade. We've stayed at may places in town -- from super low budget ($50 a night) to high-end B&B's. Based on my recent experience at Rocky Mountain Park […] Inn, I would say that the hotel is dingy, and the really bad smelling, overly chemical cleaning products and room/ carpet sprays they use leave a lot to be desired. I have asthma, and am very sensitive to these things, so if you have any respiratory issues, it's best to avoid this place. The pool and hot tub are nice, but again, they are serviced with loads of chemicals and so the experience is slightly off-putting because of it. I have kids and our recent use of the pool was shared with several college students in town for a weekend of partying and getting drunk. It was disappointing to share the hotel pool with college kids and their plastic cups filled with boozy punch -- their intoxicated conversation provided a real bonus for the not ready for prime time kiddos. The hotel restaurant was okay -- the service was excellent. The waiters were friendly, really outgoing and very accommodating. The food was bland at best. For the price of the food -- expect entrees around 15-20 dollars, you'd be better off ordering pizza or going elsewhere for tastier food. That said, the convenience of the restaurant is family friendly. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good value for the $$$ - Will stay again"
This property was very nice for our stay. We were visiting Rocky Mt. National Park and only needed a place to sleep. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Water pressure excellent in the shower (even with efficient low-flow shower head). Loved their attention to recycling. We're always looking for a place to recycle when we travel - plastic bottles, […] pop cans, paper, etc. Good location: walkable to town. They're pet-friendly, even to cats (YAY!). It's an older property, but perfectly suitable. Large pool and jacuzzi (didn't use). Restaurant on property (didn't eat there). Reasonably priced. Will definitely stay there again. Check out using a booking site versus booking directly w/ hotel: direct was more $$$, but included 3-hour later check-out and a credit for breakfast in the on-site restaurant. Depends on what you need. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Apparently they allow you to leave dogs in the rooms unattended. Non stop barking and calling the front desk did no good. Vending machines out of several selections, again front desk no help. All the hallways smell like chlorine from the pool. Rooms were clean. Very expensive for what you get. Much better choices in town.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel near Rocky Mountains"
Great location, friendly staff, nice room, excellent entertainment area, and affordable.Genuine Expedia guest review
We usually stay at another hotel and wanted to try something new. The price was comparable. Beds comfy.only negatives: window looked out over a nice green courtyard but the windows were very dirty and couldn't see out well. Also long black hairs were on the bathroom floor in several places upon arrival. And no neither of us has dark hair. That was icky […] .other than that it was fine Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Not Dog Friendly"
I called Hotels.com to find a romantic hotel that also allowed dogs. I was given 3 choices, and I chose the RMNP Inn. We drove 3hrs only to discover the reservation didn't request a dogs allowed room, but thankfully one was available...with handicap access...so the shower sucked. Also, the hotel only likes small dogs. Not sure if I'll use this service […] or hotel again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We've stayed here before and have been completely satisfied with the hotel. It's nice that it has the restaurant and bar also. It was nice to relax in the bar at the end of the day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfortable and satisfying overnight stay"
The room was clean, comfortable and good size. Staff were pleasant when we checked in. The room was affordable and we had a view of the mountains from the 4th floor. We did not use the restaurant but it was nice that one was available. We also did not use the pool area as we only stayed one night. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers to the […] area. "Out-of-date box hotel with faux "mountain" facade"
Staff was listless, hotel was noisy and past it's prime years ago, and the location was on the freeway with a view of the power station. Seemed very clean but that may have been the reek of bleach everywhere. Think you could do better in Estes Park. One of the small motels would be a better value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wish we'd have had more time here"
This was a nice hotel in a good location. Near the Stanley Hotel. Unfortunately this was a 10pm arrival, and a somewhat early morning departure to get a start on the town and Rocky Mountain National Park. A nice property, nice room, we just didn't have much time here. Wish we could have seen more of it. I would recommend it to others.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to town and hiking"
Friendly, competent staff. Food good in resturant. Nice choice of buffet and menu. Rooms clean and comfortable. Hotel could use update. Back entrance old. Door broken. Walls and carpet dated. Pool area has 60s feel.Genuine Expedia guest review
This was a quick overnight trip before heading back to the East Coast. Check in was easy and the room was nice. I had to call and ask for a cross street as my GPS could not find an address on the street. Once that was figured out, it was easy to find. Nice town, easy to find your way around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"OK but outdated"
For the price, this was a decent deal. The only real issue was that its an older building and the heating/air-conditioning system is one of those boxes that sits in the window. Our sinuses were completed dried out by morning, and it was so loud you can hardly sleep. Makes me appreciate the central air system in most modern construction. Otherwise, everything […] was fine. The hotel was very close to the sights- main street with shopping and restaurants less than a mile away. RMNP about 2-3 miles away. The hotel seems to be a bit older, but our room was comfortable. "weird smells throughout hotel and in room"
Hotel is in a great location close to estes park and Rocky mountain nat park. The hotel itself is very outdated. I was on the 2nd level the entire floor and the room had an awful smell., more then likely mold. I would recc staying in a diff hotel while visiting the park issuesGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best Front Desk Ever!"
I made a last minute reservation and within minutes arrived to see about early check in. Even though we were hours ahead (in a resort town, nonetheless) if check in, we were accommodated. Seriously, the best customer service ever. The hotel is average, but I would totally stay again, based solely on the experience!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was probably a lovely place to stay in the past. But is currently in need of refurbishment. Cigarette holes in 2 of chairs in the room. Carpeting was worn and appeared dirty and stained. It was very soundproof and the bed was comfortable. The staff varied from day to day. Most were polite but not particularly friend. Some were unable to answer […] simple questions about the area. For example I ask about a Heritage Festival in town at the front desk and was told I don't know anything about it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Rate Rocky Mountain Park Inn"
I took a trip to Estes Park, CO and booked this hotel by chance. The staff was excellent; welcoming, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I had never been to Estes before and the ladies at the front made me more excited to be there than the visitors center did. I only stayed one night and did not use the pool or gym but I saw other people enjoying them. I did […] drink at the bar but did not eat dinner. It was comfortable, stocked, and well staffed. I did have breakfast. The waiter was excellent and the food was above average. Overall, I rate the RMPI a 4/5 and would stay again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel for the price"
Our room was clean and was kept very clean during our entire stay by the staff. We had a large group and they gave us extra towels without being asked. We had a roll-away that was delivered promptly. We loved the on-site laundry and used it a lot, especially with the kids. We never got why our section of the hotel was numbered "6" - that never made […] sense. Parking was easy and close. "Okay hotel close to downtown Estes."
Staff was very friendly, especially the maids. Within walking distance of downtown Estes which was really nice as we didn't have to drive to go out for dinner. Got the room for cheap on Expedia... would have been disappointed if we had paid more as the shower head did not function correctly (was loose from gasket), the sink spigot leaked and the window […] was stuck open about 2 inches, would neither open or close.
