I had some doubt about this place for some reason but shortly after arriving, talking to the lady behind the counter, and seeing the pool area I quickly lost all skepticism. I would recommend the place to anyone and will definitely be stopping thru again when I come back around. :-)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not perfect but the price was right."
There's lots of negative reviews about this place, and I think those are mostly overdone. This hotel was 1/3 the price of another 3 star hotel with a 4.5 customer rating. For that difference I would stay here again. This is a 3 start hotel in that it does have a restaurant/bar attached to it. It is definitely an older place, but with respect to that […] the only complaint I would really have is the corridor lighting needs to be upgraded. That along would probably help a lot in giving the place a brighter more up to date feel. My biggest complaint would be the pillows. We had a king bed with "5" pillows, although each of them was more like a square half the width of what you would expect. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A lot of rooms"
I loved the hotel service, they provided me a free upgrade to a bigger room which had a separate living area. Loved the big room and hotel staff was nice and friendly. Very close to Estes Park city.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Easy access to Estes."
Good location, very accomodating and friendly staff. Hotel is pretty close to anything in estes.Genuine Expedia guest review
This was a last minute visit and we just chose the least expensive option. As it turns out, it was better than we would have expected for the price. It was clean and comfortable and we would stay there again. It is not luxurious but it did not feel "cheap" either.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great family environment!"
The pool here was excellent, as well as the billiard tables and foosball. Our kids had a blast and the staff there was very helpful. A little bit of an older hotel that could use a bit of updating, but other than that, we felt like it was a really great deal for a family. It was blizzarding outside, so for us, the pool etc. was the highlight of our […] whole stay in Estes. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I wish this 3 day trip to the mountain was about the mountain view not the view of the AC equipment in front of the window ... the AC inside the room was horrible and could not get the temperature right so the room was either too hot or too cold ... the hotel is old and makes you feel like you don't want to touch anything ... disappointed.Genuine Expedia guest review
Overall I really liked the hotel. It was central to everything in Estes Park and was very easy to locate. Both nights that I stayed there were kids running through the halls late each night. Also, one night I went down to the Bar area and the bar tender said that he could only accept cash at that point and when I got back form the ATM Machine the bar […] was closed down. The bartender could of just said he was closing the bar down instead of telling me he would stay open if I had cash. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

good mystery hotelGenuine Expedia guest review
We were disappointed in the hotel. We had not noticed when we booked it that it was rated a "3." The room was in need of update, as were the hallways. Everything looked quite worn and not at all of the quality the on-line picture portrayed. The lack of cleanliness to our standard was the most disappointing and uncomfortable of our experience. There […] was a lot of noise in the hallways that penetrated our room. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We felt the price we payed was too much for what we received. It felt more like a Motel 6 or Motel 8 in accommodations. We probably won't use hotel.com again. We do want to menton that the booking agent was top-notch and gave A+ service to us. "Nice place to revel with pets"
A very pet friendly hotel with reasonable pet rates and nice pet facilities. The pool area is wonderful. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and current. A nice location to anywhere you want to be in Estes Park.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A gem of a hotel nestled in the mountains!"
Excellent value, very clean, nice ameneties (indoor pool, hottub, billards tables, hot breakfast buffet) friendly service, walking distance to shopping amd restaurants, a quick drive to great snowshoeing and hiking trails! This hotel was an amazing deal!! I can't wait to go back again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very comfortable hotel."
We went up to Estes to spend a little time in the park and do a little shopping. The hotel was great! The weather was not at it's best-very windy-difficult to enjoy the outdoors.Genuine Expedia guest review
The good: the room had a new LCD TV and was clean. It's an older hotel but the amenities are excellent, and include indoor pool and hot tub, pool and fooseball tables. The breakfast is a great deal and there is a restaurant and bar attached to the lobby. The bad: our room had two hard double beds, which was fine for our 5 and 2 year olds to share but […] my wife and I couldn't wait to get back into our bed at home. The ugly: we have a dog and were aware of the $15 fee, which would be fine if the pet rooms were adequately cleaned. (Although charging that fee on a nightly basis wreaks of a nickle&dime scam.) The first room we were put in should not be used for guests. It smelled like an animal shelter. The window was up near the ceiling and when I looked out I was looking up at two guys standing outside an exit smoking. They were like 8 feet away from me, looking down at me from a walkway. If they hadn't moved us we would have packed up and went home. Overall, it was a pretty decent stay for the money but I couldn't stay here again unless I got a better bed. We have stayed at more expensive hotels in the area so we were not sure how this hotel would compare. The facilities were dated but clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Room small, too small for 2 adults and 2tweens. Pool/hot tub out of operation. Foosball table with no ball to play game with, coin vending type pool table became working thanks to a very nice maint. man. The only reason I booked this hotel was because the ad appeared it was upscale and had an indoor pool for our late November getaway. My 2 tween boys […] were disappointed and I, frustrated. Took a tour of Stanley which was fun. Also went 2 hr. horseback riding at Sombrero Stables which was excellent. Next time my family and I have decided to book at the Stanley, which wouldn't have been much more expensive. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Rocky Mountains all windows"
I am disabled and it was snowing heavily when I arrived after a 3 hour drive from Denver. The staff helped me unload the car and get comfortably settled into my room. Louise went out and bought me dinner because I was unable to get out in the weather and very tired. The next day staff helped me clean snow off the car and get mobile. The staff is gracious, […] helpful and the rocky mountain setting is stunningly beautiful. I have nothing but the highest praise for the wonderful service I received. "Pictures are misleading"
I booked this resort based on the pictures that accompany the hotels.com ad. They are, in my opinion, very misleading. The resort was old, somewhat dirty (however the bathroom was spotless), and the walls did not block any noise. We heard all hallway, elevator, and other noise on the floor. The facility is really in need of an upgrade in decor. The […] one very bright spot, though, was the staff. They were very, very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate any request. The staff was very friendly. The pool was not open but we received $20 in free food to compensate for this. Everything was very clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
The stay in this town was great. The stay at this hotel was not as great. We couldn't get heat at all and it got down to the 20's some nights. They offered to have us move but this was our 4th hotel while traveling throughout Colorado & we didn't look forward to moving yet again. The staff didn't offer to move our things for us. Also, had to call maintenance […] to fix running toilet. This is an older hotel and not quite what we expected. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"My second visit to the Rocky Mountain Park Inn"
This was my second visit to this property. I received a pretty good rate through Expedia and had no trouble with checking in early. Front desk staff were extremely helpful. Room was OK, but I missed having the double King beds I had with my first visit. The bed, though, killed my back....it was so uncomfortable that I had to go to a Chiropractor for […] relief after the visit! Also, although there were 4 pillows on the bed, they were literally about 12" long....I should have brought my own pillows....The property is still overpriced, and should be around $75 per night.... "nice, but limited amenities"
We were here for a wedding, and were able to get into our room early to change and get ready, so that was nice. Room was adequate, nicely decorated. The main drawback was that there was not a free breakfast that many hotels offer these days. We found out that because we booked through Expedia, we were not able to get the buffet for free, and had to […] pay $10 each, which was offered to guests who booked directly through them. Kind of a bummer. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Not a 3 star hotel"
The staff was very nice, but the hotel conditions are definately not 3 stars.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good Value in Estes Park"
This used to be a Holiday Inn and is nicer than it used to be. Good location and a great value. Watch out for guests with pets. The 7am barking wake-up call might bother some people.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is not new and a little dated. But it was clean and had lots of parking and easy to use multiple entrances. I would stay there again. THe price was less than other older outside entrance rooms. THe breakfast was sufficient and hot and fresh. Dining room service at breakfast was superior.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok hotel but I've stayed in better."
Stayed there after the flood in 2013. The room was ok but the tv picture was not that great. Turned water on to shower but I got water that was rusty looking. I understand it could be because of the flooding.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean but cool"
Rooms are clean, the heater needed some work, when it was on the room was stuffy, and heat was not hot. Just need to clean the filters. But we would stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
I chose this place after deciding not to camp one chilly night. It was far better than the other place I stayed, though had cost nearly the same. I was so very pleased.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good hotel for the price. King Room was good size, comfortable, and clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The woman at the reception desk was initially not friendly, but was nice upon check out. The rooms seemed old and could use an update. For the price and location, it was a good deal.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great time in Estes Park..."
Rocky Mountain Park Inn is our choice to stay for us in Estes Park. It's just a few blocks' walk to the downtown shopping/dining area. While it's an older hotel, the facilities are top notch and rooms are neat and clean. All staff has made us feel welcome and been responsive to our requests. It's hard to find a hotel with a full-sized indoor swimming […] pool. We will continue to stay at the Rocky Mountain Park Inn when visiting Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. "Rocky Mountain Park Inn"
The hotel accommodations are outdated. Old carpet and a few dirty tiles. Noisy hotel despite not being crowded. Our room was near the end of hallway. Soda machine and ice maker activity well after midnight. You can hear people in adjacent rooms urinate. I thought pets were suppose to be limited to 1st floor. We had dogs near us on 2nd floor. The barking […] was limited but more prevalent was the noise coming from the area below our window where the dogs were walked and the smokers talked, often late in the evenings. Sometimes it was maintenance staff taking smoke breaks. The swimming pool and hot tub area was nice but the overwhelming scent of chorine was nearly nauseating. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Get away in October 2013"
Flood damage in Estes Park did limit road travel.Genuine Expedia guest review
I'm assuming the fact that we had four small pillows instead of normal size ones is because of the FEMA help Rocky Mountain Inn was offering to displaced flood victims. But it was kind of weird. We stayed here after a wedding at the Stanley and were satisfied with the price, location, and convenience. I hope Estes Park can rebuild and that tourism comes […] back quickly. It was sad to see how vacant the town was. But we were content with our choice to stay at Rocky Mountain Inn and would consider it again if we need to stay up there. "Fortunate to find accommodation"
There were a lot of emergency workers staying at the hotel following the Colorado floods, so the normal dining service was unavailable. The hotel provided a limited buffet which was adequate but overpriced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Last minute over night trip to Estes Park."
Had no problems getting a reservation and it was one of the more moderately priced places in the town. For the money 100 is reasonable for what you got. Its just your run of the mill hotel nothing really stood out about it but the indoor pool.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Regret that the storm came"
The staff were exceptional as the flood occurred. We almost got to stay one more day, but we saw first hand the roads crumbling. Made a mad dash to leave.Genuine Expedia guest review
"2nd stay in a 2week period"
Can't beat the location or the rates. Not much in the way of extra amenities but huge cudos to the staff during the recent flood emergency! Most remained upbeat and worked hard to provide for guests and emergency personal who were using the facility as a base. The staff went more than an extra mile as most restaurants and businesses struggled to remain […] open or had to close due to flooding. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
