Our stay was very enjoyable. The accommodations were very nice. We were very kindly greeted by the desk staff and processed in a very timely manner. All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a stay in the area. It is very convenient to the many nice dinning establishments, and many of the major attractions in the area. The in house restaurant was extremely nice, with a very kind and helpful staff. Very good food.

The hotel was over all nice. Staff was courteous and professional. However the rooms did NOT have microwaves or a mini refrigerator in them. Won't be staying there again.

My father, son and myself planned a family vacation. My family and I have been coming to Mt. Pleasant for several years. We have never stayed at this particular motel but due to the holiday weekend it was the best we could find. The motel was nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I was not happy with how you have to navigate out of the parking lot to get into town. The air conditioning was rather loud and the room felt very humid. The pool was very nice.

If you are visiting Historic Charleston but don't want to pay $$$ a night, this is the place, it's a quick hop over the bridge (literally the last entrance on the East to the first exit on the West) and less hectic than trying to find parking in Charleston. The hotel was nice and staff hospitable. Comfortable enough beds. Spacious rooms. Quiet. Bathrooms clean which is always a plus. We didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the amenities or breakfast so can't comment. My electronic keycard and cell phone did not get along so I was locked out twice so remember to keep them separate or your key will be deactivated. The only downside when we visited was the area was a bit under construction and our GPS was very confused (it had us on the southside of the highway) so the hotel was difficult to find at first.

This rooms were clean but the furnishing were a little old. The room a/c unit was a little bit loud, but the fan in bathroom would wake you up when you cut the light on. The pool was so dirty with trash and insects that we stopped going after the second day.

Enjoyed the courtyard pool area with the family. The hotel stay was overall good, and A/C worked great in our room. Recently updated vending machines were fairly convenient also. Restaurant was good, especially enjoyed the bar and complimentary drinks for joining the rewards program. The bartender PJ, despite staying constantly busy did an amazing job. Would stay here again while in Mt. Pleasant!

This location was much better than I expected, it was very close to the Patriot's Point Museum and extremely close to the bridge that goes to the Historic District. The staff were very friendly and gave us a great dinner recommendation for the Historic District. We would definitely stay here again.

Customer service was great. Room was nice but no fridge for my 2 year olds milk. Bathroom was very nice but shower was slippery. There were dogs on our floor that barked several times late at night. I could hear people in halls talking late at night. I had asked for room with king bed so my 2 year old could sleep between me and my husband but it was put in as standard room so we ended up sleeping in 2 double beds. We were only there for one night but not too sure if I would return.

1) The voicemail welcome message touted "newly renovated." The property is still being renovated and the renovation is selective (e.g., bathroom renovated, actual room not). This is misleading and poor service. 2) First assigned room had an A/C unit that sounded like a an 18 wheeler's air brakes. For cleaning staff or others not to convey this to the front desk is poor communication among staff. Relying on customers to point out faults is poor service. 3) A/C unit is old, fan is always running (regardless of being on auto) and the room was humid. 4) The carpet is horrible. It was filled with lint and hair that stuck to socks and it was dirty! After walking around the room our socks and feet turned brown. There was NO clean area. Not between beds, by window, by recliner, and certainly not entry door. This may be okay if you have a dog, but this is not a place to bring kids. 5) This was brought to the attention of staff. No attempt was made to comp one night or give a Holiday Inn certificate for one night on the house. Once again, poor service. Only the restaurant staff was fully attentive.

I understand the hotel is under reconstruction, but the staff even didn't know there is no ice machine on the floor, I have to drag the cooler to ask where the ice machine is because there is no refrigerator and microwave in the room. The room was too humid and dark. The hotel overall is too old. The breakfast is not free but good.

We found a deal for this hotel just for the one night. Everything was really nice and comfortable. The only "complaint" was just not having a microwave or refrigerator in the room. Overall, though, it was a great stay.

I wasn't very impressed overall, but, for the price and location, it was ok. The front desk seemed oblivious to the details of the construction occurring inside the hotel. The cleaning lady appeared annoyed when we asked for towels, toilet paper, etc. The maintenance man was quite nice and helpful. Depending on your priorities, if you are short on cash and don't mind rude service, then I would recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel primarely for it's loca tion.The hotel was great, the room was nice and clean, and the bteakfast at hotel restaurant was excellent. I took my 3 kids to Charleston for a few days and they loved the hotel, was very satisfied with our stay here, would definitely go back in the future.

Great place to stay! The hotel staff was amazing.. the beds were SUPER creaky.. I don't know if they had cheap mattresses or what but every time you moved on the bed it made a weird plasticy sound. We requested a COLD room because we had stayed in a hotel the two previous days where the thermostat did not work and the staff did not disappoint! they sent the maintenance/air guy up to the room while we were checking in to make sure it was on the coldest setting! Great rate.. would def stay there again.. The lobby and hallways were super muggy and felt outdated that's why I gave a 4 for maintenance

The room was not cleaned properly. There was construction noise above our room on third floor. The hotel should have advised of construction noise before we booked the room. That room should have been taken off the list of rooms available for occupancy (or at least provide a substantial rate discount over other rooms without noise). Ours was a junior suite.

The hotel overall was great. The room was nice and spacious, clean and neat. It had a mini fridge, microwave and utility sink outside the bathroom, which was useful. Everything worked as it should have. Front desk staff was nice. The outdoor pool was filthy, but it wasn't really swimming weather yet, so I assume that is why. It was also a little pricey, but that was due to the Cooper River Bridge Run, which is why we were there. We would stay there again.

Everyone was so polite and the service was great. The only complaint that I have about this hotel is the fact that they do not give a complimentary breakfast. The cost of the buffet is $10.95. They only offer coffee in the morning. Other than that, it was a great experience and we will stay here again.

We live in the area and sometimes just like to get away for a night or two, usually in the summer to enjoy a swimming pool. We chose this hotel because it is close to home so we could go check on our animals. The hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and clean. And the buffet breakfast the next morning was delicious. We intend to stay again this summer so that we can enjoy the inviting pool!

WE traveled for business. Everything was excellent. The staff is very professional, attentive, greet you each time you walk by with a smile. Very attentive. The hotel is very clean and smells like a garden of flowers all through.. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We paid a little extra for breakfast which we had a choice for either buffet or order off the menu. We mistakenly stopped by another Holiday Inn up the street and was really glad when we came to our correct hotel because we felt so comfortable here.

Regulating heating/cooling was not good. Very slow service in the dining room. Waiting an hour and a half before we even got our breakfast.

Nice place room and staff. Only problem was breakfast. One person was waitress and cook for everybody. Need to get her some help. Took right at an hour to get the food. Once we got it it was excellent and hot. Just need more staff there.

The air conditioner/heater was difficult to get it cool enough and it was winter time. It took 1.5 hour to get our breakfast. This did not include eating time.
