They gave me a wrong room at midnight.There are no bathtub,no table in the bathroom，no ice in the machine and the lock of the door was broken, I felt so sad！Later they changed the room,but it gave a bad impression on me .

there were so many "bad"reviews I thought I should reply with a different perspective. No, the hotel is not fancy. Yes, it's a little out of the way. We were only looking for a bed which was comfortable and we had a "deal" on the price. The only complaint was that the heater in the room was noisy. The draperies darkened the room fine, the hotel itself […] was very quiet, and the staff was ok - just no good suggestions on where to dine. The shower was good. It's a bit dated in decor but that is not important to us. There was coffee/tea in the lobby. I think some rooms might have faced the water but don't know - we looked out at parking lot. When I arrived, there were dirty facecloths in the bathroom. I also stubbed my foot on a cell phone battery left under the bed. The hotel is a little outdated, but perfectly comfortable. It's kind of strangely situated in a residential neighborhood, but it sits right on the Niagara River just a few miles upstream from the falls and costs a very reasonable amount based on the location.

Terrible rooms!!! All Old and musty!!! Bathrooms are dirty and the restaurant is terrible. The only reason I was able to fall asleep was from driving for 8 hours from Philly. Beds are uncomfortable. Rooms are extremely small.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times but no more. Always dirty and terrible service. Most recently they overbooked and I had no room when I checked in at almost midnight and had nowhere else to go. They had hours to alert me of this and or Hotel.com. They were actually rude about it at the front desk. Be warned.

This hotel needs a major makeover and some maintainance fast. The shower drain was clogged and the shower head hose had a major leak in it so there was water spraying out the side. Also there was nowhere to hang the shower head because the hanging part was broken off. There is no way the maid could not have realized this was broken before another guest […] arrived in the room. My kids enjoyed the stay loved the pools. One thing that I didn't like was that I had to go daily to the front desk to ask for our breakfast cards... That was annoying to do . Everything else was good and the view from our room was beautiful. Defenetly will stay here again.

The hotel being on the river had lovely views, especailly from our balcony. However housekeeping was poor. We did NOT get new towels, glasses or coffee after housekeeping cleaned our room. The tv channel guide that was on our desk stated we had like 85 channels, when in fact we had like 11. They said oh it is an old card...well how about replaceing […] it? I stayed here with my family and I booked 2 rooms. regular check-in time was 3PM (on 5/18/2012) and I requested for early check-in a day before I went there. I again called up in the morning while on the way to Niagara falls and Front desk Lady said that one room is ready and one room is not. Finally I got my second room at 3:30 PM. I had asked for the crib for infant a day earlier but that wasn't ready in the room. I had to ask for the same twice after reaching there. I think there is a communication gap between front desk and house keeping staff. I had asked for two extra towels in the morning. I had waited for 2 hours and then saw a housekeeping lady roaming around on my floor, so I asked her for extra towels. I went here with my friends for a short spring break road trip. The hotel was not difficult to locate.we reached there around 3 and the room was ready. The lady at the front desk was snobbish and behaved rudely with everyone. Remember to carry your own toiletries as the hotel staff is rude enough not to give it to you. The first room we were given had no vanity just a sink like you would get in a gas station. The bathroom had mould, there was a vent that was extremely dirty and when my wife stood on the bathmat blood came out from under the carpet. The TV was old school and they had to come to the room twice to make the universal remote work which was the "only" way […] to control the TV. We changed rooms ... better at first. Lived through 2 fire alarms and were told by staff this happens all the time. Complained about a running toilet which they fixed... only to have it start running again in the middle of the night. When we changed rooms, we accidentally left a bag behind. Calling the front desk provided no assistance in getting our bag as they simple deflected our call. The location of the hotel was great! We booked a room with a view of the river, which was beautiful! The hotel was a short drive to Niagra Falls and Buffalo. It was located in a very nice and safe area. The rooms were decent. The beds were clean, but the bathrooms were a little on the gross side. The heater did not work in our first room for the first […] night so we had to move to the room next door for our second nights stay. The staff was very nice and quick with the relocation. I booked this hotel because it had a pool and hot tub and cafe, but they all close early in the evening so didn't get a chance to use them. Our booking for 5 adult in 1 room was accepted but the room had only 2 queen size beds (no sofa). We were told that we could rent rollover beds for $15 per night but they were ‘sold out’ when we reached! We were staying for 2 nights so requested them to provide rollover beds at least for the second night but sold out again! When we checked in the TV wouldn't turn on and the bed were too firm for hotel beds. The next morning we went to the pool and there was a 'member' there that was rude to everyone that walked in. We called 3 times to have the TV fixed and after the third call and over an hour and half a maintenance guy showed up and was able to get the TV to turn on. […] When we turned off the TV that night it never turned back on. Half of hotel is newer, half is older, they have renovated parts of the rooms on one side of the hotel.
