there is nothing wrong with the hotel. It is clean and fine; it also lacks charm of any kind. I have stayed in many mercure hotels in France. The one in Deauville doesn't quite match up. Again, no problems, but nothing special. Do not eat the breakfast. At 16 euros, for pancakes and eggs as the extent of the hot food, it is nowhere near worth it. Maybe […] it's worth half that price. The room was very small and very hot. There was no air conditioning. It appeared that this room had been closed up for awhile. I would recomment only if the people understood this was not a luxury stay; more the :frugal traveler".

We expected much more from this hotel. The "yacht club" billing is only relevant in that it is across the street from some water and some sailboats. The room was clean but dingy. Very overrated for the price. Unless you are going specifically to Deauville , you might look for something closer to the main sights of Honfleur, Normandy Beaches.

Our hotel room had a balcony with a drinks table & 2 chairs overlooking the yacht harbour with rolling countryside beyond. Secure parking and easy level walking to shops & beach.

Had a great stay but struggled to find the hotel at first. A couple of flags outside rather than any banner on the hotel itself. Not a luxury hotel but very comfortable and close to the centre with peacefull gardens at the back so choose a rear facing room if you can.

Whilst basic, this hotel is really well situated for all the sights. A short walk from shops, restaurants, the beach, the race track, the casinos. Very clean and a good service although we didn't utilise any services other then the room itself.

Our first visit to the Mercure Hotel at Deauville exceeded our expectations. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and view of the port along with a welcome gift of a shoulder bag filled with goodies. The room was spacious, well furnished and equiped, including tea and coffee making facilities,replenished daily. Everything looked new or nearly new. […] The buffet breakfast is the most comprehensive imaginable and included bacon, egg and sausage, for those that crave an 'English' breakfast. Although situated on the corner of a busy road - Quai de la Marine - with the sliding balcony door closed, it was quiet enough. The rooms have air conditioning provided by a large ceiling fan that also pumps out cold air if required. we chose this hotel because of its location. 5 mins to town centre, 5 mins to seafront and - you've guessed it - 5 mins across the bridge to Trouville where the shops and restaurants are more affordable. This must be our tenth visit to Deauville and this Mercure hotel is the most satisfiying to date. Are there any complaints ? - Well, yes. The hotels private garage parking seems pretty steep at the current rate of exchange, but there is plenty of free parking in the road outside or the large car park almost opposite. Nice hotel in the centre of Deauville and beside the Marina. Plenty of on street parking and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Excellent boardwalk with swimming pools, tennis and well maintained beaches nearby. Trouville is just a 5 minute walk across the river where there are a mulitude of restaurants and plenty of seaside activities for children […] all closeby. Read more

L'hôtel est bien situé a proximité de la plage et en plein centre. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très cordial. Mais ce que je reproche principalement a cet hôtel est la taille de la chambre, on peut a peine faire le tour du lit, pour un 4*, c'est vraiment surprenant et absolument pas a la hauteur de nos attentes.

Hotel trés bien placé à proximité de la gare. Jolie architecture style normand, beaucoup de charme. L'accueil est agréable et trés professionnel. Les chambres sont confortables mais un peu petites. Le petit déjeuner est un peu cher (16 euros par personne). Ces réserves étant faites, c'est globalement un hôtel parfait pour séjourner à Deauville.

The city was truly nice and mercure in Deuaville is also good however, I sincerely advise that staff in breakfast buffet NEED TO at least, try to speak English. If they're professional as a staff who works in international chain hotel, SInce 1st day, I politely asked and informed to staff I can't speak n understand French but staffs keep talking French […] to me on and on and on. Opholdet fungerede perfekt. Minibaren var ikke koblet til, da vi ankom, men med en mindre fejlfinding vi fik strøm på og kølige drikkevarer. Byen er hærget af skrigende måger, der forstyrrer nattesøvnen, men det er vel ulempen ved at opholde sig i en havneby. Je ne recommanderai pas cet hôtel pour un week-end d'amoureux. Chambre trop petite, matelas inconfortable (qui doit très certainement datée d'au moins 5 ans). Pas de climatisation, étonnant d'ailleurs. Nous avons été extrêmement déçus, DOMMAGE.

Ausgezeichnete Lage zu allen Annehmlichkeiten (Restaurants, Shops) und Sehenswürdigkeiten (Beach, Trouville, Yachthafen). Alles in weniger als 15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Hotel ausgezeichnet (Zimmer, Frühstück, Freundlichkeit). Wir werden auf jeden Fall dieses Hotel wieder buchen bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Deauville.
