It was very nice and relaxing however the buggs in the bathroom and an unpleasant odor in the room were not what we were expecting. There was no ventilation in the bathroom. There was a nice bar and coffee area by the pool however nobody was operating that area. It would be very nice like the most other hotels if they would have a nice music going on […] during the day and serving coffee or other drinks by the pool to make it more pleasant and fun for their guests. Not bad for a 1 or 2 night stay. Did not feel like a resort stay , but did the job. Carpets were dirty. Good BBQ food in the cowboy restaurant. Two big pools.

Pool View doesn't have much pool view and mountain view really doesn't have much view. the view of the Mountain is superb from the pool though! Staff was great!!!

the bed was uncomfortable, the tv was old. the carpet was dirty. The swimming area was the only good thing about this hotel. I love the pool area. two pools and two jacuzzi's . The staff was friendly. don't like the checking out towels for the pool. seem's silly and a waste of time.

Nice place, very friendly staff wish I could have stayed longer. Only negative is the flights back to LA cost over $500. United airlines has a monopoly in controlling that route. Ending up driving back but it was a pleasant drive.

We had a nice boring stay. the toilet water leaked all night and the lamps were not working so well also the pools were not open very late the TV sets are so old and outdated it was hard to watch a good clear chanel and we were not informed we could request a microwave, so our romantic diner sat in the fridge and we had to eat out but for the most part […] it was peaceful and clean and the decor of the grounds was nice with it's bronze statues. WE wish they invested a bit more on room amenities we had to sleep in separate beds because the beds were full size not queen:( over all it was clean but not a romantic place like we expected and the pool hrs. are rediculous adults do not go to bed at ten 10:00pm when out on a romantic vacation! so we might be back when we are 70 or so and want to znooze by the pool and just veg out but not for fun !!! We stayed here as we were late arriving in Palm Springs and it is basically down one end of the main road. So location was great, but it is just a two level motel, provided a basic continental breakfast. The rooms need updating, and a good scrub. I found a huge water bug in restroom early in the morning on first night and could not sleep the next night wondering if bugs would be crawling all over us!! I let the front desk know and they said some times they do come out. Not my type of hotel.

I have been staying in this hotel since it was built. The pools are wonderful and if you go in the summer during the week you can have the pools mostly to yourself. The BBQ smell does get to you.

You are looking at this hotel because...let's be honest...it's cheap! It is very nice for what we paid for. Only 2 floors. No elevator. Pool was above average. Continental breakfast was average at best. The bed was very comfortable (I am very picky about the comfort of beds). AC wasn't the greatest but wasn't the worst. It seemed to only cool the room […] completely on the side of where the AC was located. Opposite side remained warm for hours. Keep AC on at all times to get the whole room cool. Fridge was similar to AC. If you want to get your drinks cold, you will need to keep them in there for quite some time. It's a great last minute, spur of the moment thing (which is exactly what it was for us). It is less than a 5 minute drive from downtown Palm Springs. The restaurant was OK. They literally only had 1 person serving the entire room. I would recommend it to someone who is a situation like we were. Not looking to spend too much but still want a decent level of quality. I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel from the reviews, however it was the best deal and close to downtown. Once I arrived and checked in, the room was very clean, cool and comfortable. It's was not the nicest room but still a good value for your money for the close proximity to the shopping and dining. Room was kind of dumpy. My room had a plastic lawn chair used for the desk area. The shower didn't drain properly. The staff wanted to charge an additional $35 for late check out.

Nice. Beds were very comfortable. Long way off the 10 freeway. Don't follow gps through town. It doesn't give good directions. Stay on 10 then back track on highway back to the hotel. Much much faster. You will pass your destination but will get there much quicker then going through all those traffic lights.

Outstanding accommadations for the money. Very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the entire property from the pools, hot tubs, lobby and other ammenities. I would and will stay here again when back in the area. It's location is within a few blocks of downtown. The hotel was very reasonably priced for the location and ammenities.
