Desk staff had to bring a refrigerator to the room, which was included. Outlet did not work for lamp and tub was cracked with a dingy hue to it.

Overall it was ok! Over priced for this hotel. And the hallway smelled like someone was smoking in the hallway. And then my room smelled like someone was smoking in my room. Very unpleasant for the price of this place. Overall not worth the money for a hotel in the middle of no where!!!!!!

Bed was comfortable and clean same with bathroom. Disappointing that the in room phone did not work was trying to get a wake up call, good thing for my cell alarm! Desk attn. said would check on it right away but for me too late was checking out......

I made the reservation understanding the breakfast was included but I got vouchers instead. We had to limit ourseleves to avoid exceeding the vouchers. Hotel does not have elevators!!

Well-maintained. I've noticed that Holiday Inn Express hotels don't seem to have fridges. I think this is a short-coming. There is a new Hampton Inn going up in the area and I will probably try that the next time I am in town. Wifi is easily available.

This was my first stay at Holiday Inn New Hartford - it will be my hotel of choice when I need to come to the area. I selected this hotel for it's safe location and being close to the downtown area. The room had been recently updated - new bathroom. The only suggestion I would make would be to hook up the bathroom ceiling fan to prevent problems in […] the future. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were even labeled for choice of firmness. Nice touch. I was a little concerned seeing that many buses were unloading sport teams (football & soccer). but was was not a problem as they were not located near our room. We could not find the place because they did not have any outside lights on. After two phone calls to the front desk, we finally found it. There was no elevator and we were given a 2nd floor room with lots of luggage to carry up the stairs. Heating system was off and room quite cool when we checked in. Heater was really loud and cycled on and off all night. No soap in bathroom and had to go to the front desk to get some. Room was otherwise OK.

This is a nice hotel and we would return. I was not told up front there would be a pet fee, but it was expected. They accomidated my request upon arrival for a first floor room near an accessible door. Very freindly and great cookies at the check in counter

The hotel was very nice. Everything was clean and well maintained. The outdoor area was very nice with alot of lounge chairs. There is a restaurant with lounge right inside the hotel. The food was good and the prices pretty decent, BUT if you was wanting to have a cocktail with your dinner, or come back later for a night cap, better bring your ID, regardless […] of your age, because they will NOT serve you unless they see it first. At almost 60 yrs old, I could not get a beer with dinner because I did not have my ID. They said it was hotel policy. But all in all, I would recommend this hotel. Read more

Nice clean room and fairly comfortable bed with a clean bathroom and good shower. We did find that the wall paper in the corner of the room was peeling off the wall so it looked a little ugly. I had asked for a reduced rate at the hotel, but was denied. I thought it would be a little nicer, but I was willing to give it a try. Once in my room, though, and I was rather disappointed. I was even more disappointed when I brought it to the attention of the hotel staff and they did nothing. I rarely complain, but my room was somewhat disgusting […] and I started wearing socks whenever in my room because of my disgusting carpet. My room smelled horrible and was musty and moldy on the walls. The wallpaper was curling up exposing the mold underneath. I would open my window and turn my AC on full blast to air out my room and be able to sleep. My shower floor was very dirty and simply hadn't been scrubbed in months. My carpet felt sticky, so I took a white towel from the bathroom and rubbed it on the floor only to discover something very dark and smelly. we got off I-90 at the wrong exit so getting to the hotel was a bit strange but it's location is actually perfect, beside a quiet residential area, high school and business park. Very safe feeling which was great as I was pulling a U-Haul and forgot to get a lock.
