"Good for an inexpensive 1 night stay"
ok for an inexpensive place to spend the night but wouldn't want to stay much longer. needs updating, looks like they just try to fix things that really should be replaced. Yes - the hallway does smell funny. walls could use some cleaning but bed, bathroom, and dressers were clean. there cleaning staff needs to be more detail orientated but it was basicly […] clean. limited options for breakfast. the woman at reception was very pleasant and friendly. Room did not have a telephone. TV did not work. 3 lights were burned out and the management wouldn't replace them. After complaining the manager reluctantly assigned us a new room which justifies the higher rating on the comfort and cleanliness of the roomGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Spacy and reasonable priced. Atlantis City is easy to reach. Nice serounding. Several hotels, Inn's in a row. Denny's near by.Genuine Expedia guest review
Not the cleanest, but I'm not super fussy. You shouldn't expect perfection at that price. It was exactly what I was looking for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not impressive looking but great staff!"
The hotel seemed pretty run down to us (inside & outside)... I didn't walk around barefoot in the room at all.... But the rate was great, the staff was ALWAYS friendly, and there was a breakfast included which you really can't beat...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is my second time at this hotel. First time was a one day stay so it was fine. Second stay was for two days, towels and bath mat were taken out and not replaced. No coffee machine in room. I had bought my own towels and we were leaving the next day , so it wasn't a big deal. I would recommend one night certainly not more than that.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great deal close to A/C - a steal!"
Comfortable Hotel real close to A/C at a great price! Would stay there again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
No bath towels were available in my room. I had to ask for it. No hangers in the closet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"almost worth the price"
There were three of us staying in a room, and when we got there, there were only 2 towels. When we asked about getting an extra, we were informed they had no more clean towels and we should call after 9am the following morning. When we called the next morning, rather than assisting us, the front desk receptionist told us that housekeeping should be […] on our floor, so we should go out of our room and look..... "Won't go back to Galloway NJ Ramada"
I have never written one of these before and I am not that picky. My room was 431 and it had not been cleaned. The toilet seat had urine on it and there was black mold inside around the edge of the toilet. The bathroom floor had something like black soot on it. The tile floor under the sink and shelf was visible and had not been washed for some months. […] The room hadn't been vacuumed either and there was dirt/little pieces of something on the carpet. The woman at the front desk tried to be helpful and was going to give me room 440. But that room smelled something had been burning in there. The window didn't open to air it out. The bed had a lumpy comforter with a duvet cover. There was no top sheet and the weather was too warm for that. And I had already seen such filth in the other room, it made me wonder when the duvet cover had been changed last. Also the wall paper on a third of one wall was falling down. I ended up staying in the filthy room rather than the stinky room. The hotel was full and the breakfast was only staffed by one person and so he couldn't keep up. I found out that the hotel had cut back on employees' hours and they couldn't keep up with all the work and that the hotel management considered this to be off season and yet the hotel was full. I sat with other at breakfast who said their rooms were fine. But that wasn't my experience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

If you are looking for a place to crash after a long night in AC, then it fits your needs. Any thing else I would look else where. Once we arrived, the hallways hadn't looked like they were vacuumed in a few weeks, yet the vacuum cleaner was sitting right outside our rooms, as if to take a hint and vacuum ourselves.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not a great place to stay"
We had to change our room as the 2 lights in the room and bath room lights were not workingGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel provides shuttle to the main strip and a scaled down continental breakfast (all included) which makes the trip incredibly affordable. The staff was courteous. However, there was a shortage of towels, the bed linens need to be updated, in fact the hotel is a bit outdated. But who stays in their room in Atlantic City anyway?Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel did not have enough of towels and also it had a musty smell that would not go away. I guess since it was the holiday they were over booked. However, the front desk was very helpful with directions to go see different places.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hallway was very hot and smelled bad and there was trash in the laundry and garbage near the elevator. The carpet in the room was filthy and the sink leaked.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK could be better"
I was not happy with the smell of the carpet in the hall way. I was not pleased with the full breakfast. I did not think they had a variety.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was not as well kept as I would have expected at a Ramada. The wallpaper border was coming down, the lampshape was cracked in numerous spots, etc.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"old hotel in need of a lot of work"
I arrived at 2:00 on my scheduled date. Was informed by the female desk clerk that check in was 3:00. But, if I wanted to check in early it would be an extra $20. Twenty dollars to check in an hour early?? How rigid are the rules ?? Not as rigid as their maintenance schedule obviously. The room was in need of repairs. The wallpaper was peeling, the […] window had a white like mold stain in between the double pane glass. The bathtub drain was very very slow to drain.... All in all the location is very convenient to Atlantic City & the Ramada name I would have thought would be a pretty good bet for a nice night's stay. It was however NOT.. There is a lot of competition along route 30 & I would suggest trying another of the lesser know name hotels. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Average hotel. Below average service & accessories"
The hotel was average. Our room had an extremely loud air conditioner. Also we had no bathroom accessories or enough bed pillows. When we called the desk we were told to come down and get them ourselves.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel had a disgusting odor both in the lobby and in the room. We were very unhappy and did not want to stay there once we checked in, however, we had already paid for the hotel and did not want to search the area for another as we were only staying overnight for convenience to the airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
i realy enjoyed my stay the price was great dennys a blessing your staff was very friendley very clean lobby and breakfast was good in the dining areaGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"There was black mold and stains in the rooms"
The stay was moderate. It felt like a motel more than a hotel. The room had black mold at the wall and ceiling joints. The staff never had enough towels. I think the best part of the whole experience was the breakfast and that was not the greatest either. The pool is glamorized online. My pool is bigger than theirs. "Convenient to AC and acceptable"
My wife and I stayed one night. For overnight, it was acceptable. The grounds were not well maintained, and the room had issues as well -- one light was out, the phone had been unplugged and not reconnected, the shower head leaked, neither the door nor the window closed easily. The TV channel selection wasn't great -- if there was HBO or even on-demand […] movies we didn't see them. On the positive side, it had a free breakfast -- the location looked good, but we slept in and missed it. The hotel had a pool, but we never saw it. It has shuttle service to Resorts, sort of hourly. The staff that we met was nice. The room was clean and quite spacious. The hotel is convenient to Atlantic City, but there are several others just as convenient. One good point for us was that there was a Denny's practically on the property. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just needed a room for 1 night"
Due to work requirements, I've stayed at several motels on the white horse pike in Absecon. The Ramada is by far the best of the places I've stayed in previously. This was my 2nd stay there and both times, the lady at the front desk has been wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities were good for the price. I also liked breakfast. "Close to AC"
Decent stay. They have a shuttle service on friday and saturday that runs you to Resorts Casino free of charge, not sure if it's seasonal. Room was hot when we got there, but cooled off after an hour or two when we turned on the ac.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Hotel for family or couples."
I travelled with my husband and 2 kids and would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Additionally, I requested a room with a microwave and fridge, and I was pleased with it. Not bad for the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good - room needed general touch up to fix wallpaper. The pool area was not kept up, but the pool was clean. Room had towles for 2 people, we had 4; no problem getting more. Breakfast was very good!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"condition of room"
My daughter and two grandsons stayed over night here. We first noticed that the carpet was not vacuumed well especially around the edges. One corner was covered with toenaill clippings. Then my grandson pulled out the sofabed and discovered the sheets appeared to be stained with blood, not sure if they were clean or dirty. He was so grossed out that […] he went and got clean sheets from the front desk and closed the bed and slept on the couch. He was not very comfortable. The hotel was full so unable to change room. "Don't let the Ramada name fool you!"
I have never reviewed a hotel despite staying at my share over the years. For the most part, hotels I stay at are mediocre - clean and accommodating at the least. This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The common areas are clean, but the room was horrid. There were facial hair shavings in the night stand along with the phone book and on the shower wall […] even though none of us had shaved. The dresser drawers were filled with old food items, an empty video game case and a wrapped condom. Really nice for our 2-year-old to find. The sprinkler in case of fire was covered with a wet, dirty washcloth. The wallpaper was peeling and stapled back together. The carpet had been ripped and patched in several places. The wall was noticeably plastered over in several spots. There was a lap desk left on the bed for some reason - it was obviously the last guests'. The ironing board was left out and open in the middle of the room. My husband mentioned the lack of cleanliness upon checkout. The front desk employee was apologetic and friendly, but a housekeeper that happened to overhear the complaint glared at my husband. A little tip: do your job and you won't get complaints. I've stayed at crummy 1-star motels on White Horse Pike that were cleaner than this. I chose a higher star rating because it was a trip for my daughter's second birthday. My mistake. Fortunately, we only stayed for one night. If it had been a longer stay, I would've cut my losses and found a new hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Atlantic CIty Vacation 2012"
Was impressed with closeness to the area. Continental breakfast was unsaficient though. Elevator went out on our 2nd day there, luckily our bags were in our room, but new checkins had to carry their luggage up flights of stairs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When we arrived at the Ramada Galloway in Atlantic City, NJ, we were tired. The front desk person was friendly and polite, after checking in we took our luggage to our room. I had to use the rest room and noticed that we had no soap to wash up with, only one large towel and one wash cloth no shampoo no cups or glasses, even thought there was a coffee […] machine in the room, the top bed spread had brown streaks on both spreads, there were 4 of us staying in the room. When we called to request cups, towels, etc we had to go down our selves as the front desk person said no one was available to bring the things to our room.. When we left the next day, I spoke to the front desk person and let them know about the condition of the room, and the response was, " we have new housekeeping people and are still learning!!!". Hotel smelled a lil funky upon arrival. Pool was broken which made me initially upset but considering how little tome we spent there, it was fine. Continental breakfast was great.... waffles, eggs, meat (sausage or bacon), juice milk 4 kinds of cereal oatmeal.... great variety. Only like 5-10 min away from boardwalk. Staff was very very nice!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It was okay"
Not the greatest- a ittle damp and rusty- but not awful. Just okayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was clean but small. The continental breakfast was disappointing. We chose the place because of the pool, which was closed...don't know why. On the plus side..it had a Denny's within walking distance and was about 20 minutes from downtown Atlantic City.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Peeling wallpaper and holes in sheets"
There was a very pleasant person at the front desk but that could not make up for the holes in the sheets, wet carpeting, peeling wallpaper, and stained toilet. We will not stay here again even though it was conveniently located.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This hotel has seen better days"
We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. The staff have always been nice and friendly and a chain restaurant is walking distance from the hotel. However this hotel is not as nice as it used to be. An update is overdue, but the beds are still comfortable, nice pillows and the bathroom is clean. On the down side the towel rack in bathroom […] was falling down and the door knob had left a hole in the wall that had not been repaired. Sheets were thin. Wallpaper was coming off in corner by one of the beds. The air conditioner made so much noise I wasn't sure I would be able to sleep, but at least it kept the room cool. The carpet in the hall was filthy and the carpet in our room was not that clean, needed a good vacuum, but was better the next day after maid service. The entrance has dead bush in a large pot and the other pot flanking front door was empty. Lots of weeds in the front beds. We didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that.
