The only thing that I didn't like, was on the phone call, I was told we were going to have a room with a sofa/bed, and it was a chair with an ottoman. The grounds were beautiful, the pool was nice. The first night that we stayed we had to park on the other side of the building because no parking.

Will not stay there again until there are some repairs or rennovations. The walls and tiles are cracked. The ceiling is patched. Very popular, but there are newer facilities close by.

The staff was friendly and courteous. The gentleman that waited on us at breakfast was very attentive and polite. For $99.00 a night I thought we were staying in the newer hotel part and not the old motel part of Holiday Inn. The remote in our room didn't always work. The furniture was old and beat up looking. The light and a draft from the door came […] in because the seal wasn't good. We had to ask for our breakfast vouchers. We booked for two nights only to come back late Saturday night to find out that our keys no longer worked because they were only set up for one night. We walked to the front desk toget this taken care of and the gentleman was fast on fixing the problem but he never asked for i.d. from my husband or I, that seemed odd. For $6.00 more we could have stayed in a hotel with breakfast and a evening happy hour a few miles down the road. We won't stay there the next time we go back. Read more

The lobby of the hotel was nice. Beds were comfy and the location quite. The rooms however were REALLY dated. To the point that the toilet shook on it's base. The hotel staff was very accommodating. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel is snuggled away from the highway which makes it a little difficult to find in the dark, but it's a lovely atmosphere. The pool looked inviting - wish we had time to swim! The breakfast was first class.

Little tough to get to. Kind of hidden off of the Evangeline Thruway but the staff was great, indoor pool was nice, and lounge was cool after a long day. I'll be back because the rates on other rooms in the area were very high.

We stayed on a Thursday night. There were unsavory characters hanging around the hotel. It was not in an area that I perceived as safe. The bathrooms were not clean -- tub was dirty, floors had hair and dirt on them (not just in the corners), and the bed had black hair in it. The service and staff were very nice and friendly. Has nice quiet bar for the adults and game area for children. My granddaughter's 12th birthday was celebrated in Lafayette, LA. we stayed that this hotel and the girls was very pleased with the room they were in. They commented that the pillows were awesome. They loved the overall look and comfortable setting of the hotel. My husband said he loved the hotel, and that he felt very relaxed and safe.

I've only stayed in Lafayette twice. Both times were at this hotel. The place is great and the price is right. Great value for the money. I don't think I will bother looking anywhere else next time I'm in Lafayette.

I had no problems except with the l housekeeping they were upstairs on our last day and asked did we need something I said yes Id like our room made up she said yes maam we will do that Im talking about like towels, soaps, etc which was a dumb question to ask since she said yes maam on making up the room and of course when we got back it was not cleaned […] I did the cleaning I had to get the extra bags. went to the pool for a few days and both times I called front desk and said there wasnt enough water in hot tub and both times they said yes maam we will fix that. oh and the phone that was in our room there was no dialtone I had tried to call front office I went to look at the back of where the phone was plugged in and it was barely hanging so Im not at all surprised there was no dial tone let alone how the phone stayed plugged into the wall. We had to get an extra refrigerator because the temp gauge plug u are supposed to turn to make fridge colder was broke so they had to get us another one/. Read more

I got there early traveling with a handicapped person and the hotel staff bent over backward to get us an accessible room on the lower floor for an early check-in so she could rest after the long drive there. The conference room for the main speaker event was a bit small and we had to give up our dinner tables for them to add extra rows of chairs.

The only two problems that I had with this hotel is that the very small, 3ft pool was packed with people and the arcade had maybe 4 working games, so my daughter was disappointed. On the other hand, the bed and pillows were so comfortable and amazing!

Very satisfied. Though rooms are accessed from the outside, I was pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of them. I don't have children, but I thought the large playground was an great idea. We ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast and were satisfied.
