reception staff excellent,Devyani especially so, room spacious,well equipped...the room cleaning ladies were terriffic.....breakfast simple but adequate.......I have stayed pretty much everywhere in the College Park area and rate this hotel as great vaue for money.....in this economy we all need a good deal and with this hotel that's exactly what you get....".I'll be back"....Malcolm B...U.K.

"avoid at all costs"
this is one of the worst hotel i have stayed in,it was dirty, the carpet was stained the mirror smeared the tv even had a chip in ,the screen ,no cbs. no ice machines working, the ceiling had black marks all over it , ? mould. we kept our socks on in the room and showered with a plastic bag to stand on , the reception took ages to answer and were not […] interested, this was suprising for a best western we reported it . "Bad Mngmt"
I stayed at this hotel before, no problems. This time the management Was bad they gave me a room and the refrigerator did not work. I needed the refrigerator for my baby's food. But the heating system was good in this room. So I had to walk up to the front in the rain to get a new key. When I got to the front the cleark saw me and locked the side door. […] I had to walk to the front door and got really wet. I was not happy.After I got my key for my new room I walked back to the new room and this time the refrigerator was working but the heating system was bad. I stay at this hotel frequently, it is a good night stay for a reasonable price.

The bed was very stiff, but the pillows were nice. Breakfast not great. There wasagain a large crack in the ceiling of our room, but the room was tidy. i would stay there again, but only for a night or two.

We did not have a good experience at this hotel at all! We arrived to the hotel after a very long day of driving. I had called the hotel prior to leaving to ensure we were in a non smoking room for our one night stay. Upon arrival to our room we discovered it smelled of cigarrete smoke from the rooms below. I complained and we had to go retrive our […] new set of room keys. The sheets on the bed were clean however the bedskirts were all stained and had dried something on them and the carpets were dirty too! If it was not so late and us being so tried we would have left! Our remote control had no batteries in it and the wireless internet did not work...too far away from the front desk! The connection wires they offered did not work either! The front lobby had a huge party going on in the party room and the staff could not hear us to discuss our issues! All we wanted was a clean place to relax and get a good sleep before our journey home! Not a good way to spend the last night on vacation! I will NEVER use this hotel again! Read more

"Best western needs improvement"

"Best western in west Baltimore , md"
Very help staff n room had all amenities needed. Room was very clean n offered 1st level because of us traveling with a small child.
Should have paid more attention to previous reviews; appears bath tub continues to be stopped up and maintenance lacking in several areas. Hopefully, they will improve! Convenient location - to say the least!!
"Disappointed"
Arrived at the hotel, they did not have the room we booked, only smoking rooms. We have 2 small children, so that was not good. There 2 nights, our room was never cleaned. Staff was rude when questioned about anything. Choose because of the Best Western name, very disappointing!
The room was very nice..but room 100 had a nail or something in the bed..so I have scratches all over my left leg and arm from moving around in the bed.

I stayed for 2 nights and they never came to clean the room, went to eat breakfast and has to stand up due to seating, and the toilet was stopped up. If they had done a better job at keeping the room clean I would have been satifyied,

"you get what you pay for"
Well, it was cheap. The place is falling apart. The door to the cabinet fell off. When I sat in the swivel chair I fell off--it was defective. Breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly. But it wasnt in good condition at all.

I would stay here again. My room was on the 2nd floor facing the pool and was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful as well.

Par for the course. No bugs, the sink was clogged, the furniture was a little antiquated and the hot water had to come from Washington. Other than that, the price was right.

My room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The only drawback is that dinner is a drive away, in order to find a restaurant.

I had some apprehension about a two star motel, buy my brief stay was very good. The staff was quite friendly and quickly solved a minor problem with internet service. I will likely use them again when I return to the area.

The personnel were wonderful, my room was nice and had all the conveniences, the breakfast room was great and kept very clean. This hotel will definitely be on my "repeat" list. Althought, tucked a bit away from a main road, it was easy to get in and out with no worries about the neighborhood.
