I had a special request that I was accommodated with, the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. I don’t think that I could have asked for anything more than was provided. The room was nice, quiet, and restful. I wouldn't think twice about staying here again.

Our friends from Canada finished a RCCL Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas at the Port of Baltimore . We drove down with another couple from NJ . As they were returning to Toronto on Saturday nite , we picked the DoubleTree for our stay .. The staff was very helpful and they had a shuttle that took us to the Light Rail so we could all ( 12 of us ) travel […] to the Inner Harbour for festivities and sightseeing . The rail fare was very reasonable and even has discounts for 65+Seniors and children .. We all agreed that Double Tree will be on our list of hotels to stay at when visiting the BWI area.. King size beds were in the rooms and the hotel amenities were bountiful .. The lounge area was roomy and inviting and the dinning room food was up to par for a restaurant in the area .. We especially enjoyed the Breakfast buffet and the Lunch menu .. we had dinners at the Inner Harbour so I can not comment on those items . all and all a reasonable priced hotel with easy access from the highways ,air travel ,or rail service . We stayed there for four nights. It was comfortable and clean. The front desk was nice and helpful. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious! We will go back again.

Clearly an older hotel that has been renovated a few times. It shows in the hallways with a so-so wallpaper job, crooked lights, and an odd layout for the whole facility. The rooms weren't bad, and cookies are always good, but the following were the details that stuck out in our one night stay: - Our room was 90 degrees upon entering and required full […] AC to stay even closely comfortable IN WINTER. - The mattress sagged so much that you could actually see it without getting into the bed. - Mismatched bulbs in nightstand lights and only half the charging sockets working. - Poor satellite reception resulted in an on screen display popping up every few seconds. - Cheap tub and stuck shower actuator. - The showerhead was mounted at approximately 5'6", which is simply horrible. - The water temperature fluctuated constantly. We had to stay here for almost a week while our home was having some mold remediation done. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I was dealing with some lingering health issues from the mold from my house, and the staff came to my assistance when I needed emergency care while I was there. the staff was very professional and friendly. Service needs responded to quickly. The decor was sophistid and modern. I was plently surprised to have received such high class and high quality service and accommodations at an affordable rate. I will definitely consider Doubletree BWI again for future travels. Had aproblem with the maid service. Was there a total of 6 days. Had to request the maid service clean the floor. It didn't happen unitil I complained the 3 day. Also they never changed the sheets until I complained. The last problem was 2 days in a row, they left 2 dirty classes on the table next to the TV. They never gave me clean classes. I had a good stay at the Doubletree. The staff was friendly, the furnishings were updated and contemporary, and I always love the chocolate chip cookie. The only real drawback is the heating unit, which is a bit noisy when turned on.

I was disapointed that I was not told that the room they moved me from, was not a Priorities Club Room, so instead I had to figure it out for my self, and I went from 1 room to the other to decide which was best. I was overall very impressed with the Double Tree BWI Airport. The staff was all extremely friendly and the room was comfortable, up to date, and clean. I was a little disappointed at the lack of free breakfast, but considering how well appointed the hotel was otherwise I won't complain!

Overall I was very pleased with my stay. Most of the front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The free Wi-Fi was a must for me, as I stayed there while on business. I was a little disappointed that they did not offer a free continental breakfast.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday recently. The hotel is actually not bad in terms of appearance of the common areas and the room decor. My main complaint is that we woke the first morning to discover the ceiling above my fiance was leaking and had been dripping onto the mattress overnight. When I called to report the event, rather than offering […] to move us to another room, I had to request that from the manager (I spoke with the manager directly-there was a dial on the phone for manager on duty). His initial response was, I'll send someone from maintenance to check it out. Whereupon I replied that I was fine with maintenance coming, but would like to be switched to a different room immediately. A staff member delivered a new room key to our door within 15 minutes of the call and we moved to the floor above. The manager called the new room shortly afterward and did offer us free breakfast, however I didn't accept since it wasn't in line with our plans for the stay. Other than that issue, we had no complaints. The ceiling did look like there had been water damage before, but had no reason to suspect that it might re-occur while we were sleeping. Read more

No matter how many sites I checked, this hotel always came up as the most inexpensive. The room was very nice and the atmosphere was great. Notes: There is a huge parking lot, but it was hard to find a spot. Finally discovered a back lot not nearly as crowded.
