The gorgeous lawn that you overlook the hotel from is in front of the parking lot and was not only brownish, but not available for relaxing on/in. The little copse of trees in the pool area was nice, but I was expecting more lawn that could be utilized from the picture.

This hotel was nice. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The free shuttle service to the airport was great! My only complaint was that the shower wasn't working properly and it should have been something the maids caught when cleaning the room.

this is my second time staying at this hotel. The front desk was friendly, good food, good location, comfortable bed. The best sleep I have gotten in days. BUT the heating system needs to be checked because it smelled like something was burning.

This is a good basic hotel which is close to the airport. The shuttle service is quite frequent which is an added benefit. I stayed only for a few hours. The rooms were well kept and the restroom was clean.

A nice hotel. Three was a mistake in the charges with the restaurant. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were very friendly and worked together to fix the issue. We were charged for parking. The light rail station is just outside the front door, giving great access to down town, the university and shopping areas. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Great location to airport, but overall not what was expected. Our reservations were made with "Crowne Plaza" and when we were trying to locate the hotel, could not find it because the hotel at the address said Coast. After 3 circles around the block looking for Crowne, we stopped at Coast to see if we were in the correct location. We were, and we weren't […] the first guests that were confused by the name change, and no notice or signs that it was "formerly Crowne." The hotel was okay, nothing spectacular, and nothing like any Crowne Plaza's that we have stayed in previously. It looks "old". It needs some TLC. Check in was a challenge, apparently due to their "new system", our room smelled musty (a bit like wet dog) but was tolerable so I didn't ask to change rooms. Valet is an issue if you are out past their 11pm valet close time. And their system generated a bill for the full stay, even though it was already prepaid through Hotels.com. Frustrating to deal with overall. Not sure that I would stay here again. Read more

If you stayed at a nice place before, avoid this hotel. The bell hop service was horrible. The room was dirty and had a smell. I could not wait to leave the next day. Please avoid.

There is nothing bad I can say about this hotel. The front desk staff (especially Kyle!!!) went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this place :)

one night for convenience at airport. Check in staff very efficient and accomodating. Shuttle service great and we missed the shuttle by a minute and the other shuttle driver was extremely friendly and helpful. Also the coffee shop opens at 5 am -- we tailored to their purpose!

As we arrived at 10 pm, and left at 7 am, we didn't have much to do at the hotel except sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a good spot very near the airport.

It's an older hotel and they charged us a small amount for parking in the parking garage. However, the staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and the location was extremely convenient not only to the airport, but to the freeways. Room was very nice, comfy, clean. Room rate reasonable. Food at their restaurant/bar not so good, but happy hr drinks 4-6pm. Nothing but airport close by. So it's fine for a night before or after destination. Shuttle bus so you can go to airport for restaurants there.

I stayed only one night here. This hotel does not offer anything special but being close to the airport. So it is a great hotel if you have to be around the airport. The only negative thing that i should mention is that the staff looked overtired to help anyone.

The location is excellent for anyone traveling through PHX; close to the airport and with the metro rail right across the street, its convenient to travel downtown without the hassle of driving in downtown traffic. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Absolutely no complaints; I would stay there again.

I was only at the Crowne Plaza for one night on my way out of town but I thuroughly enjoyed it. Very clean, comfy and friendly! I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.
