Check in took awhile. Hotel clean. The shower took 5 minutes to get room temp. water instead of just cold. There was a small trickle. We couldn't shower. When we told the desk, they said they hear that same comment all the time. They keep a room that the shower works for those that complain. Really!!! Fix the water. Could not get the temperture in the room to adjust properly. It made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Even as low as 63 degrees was still too hot. Outlet in bathroom did not work and there was not a vent/fan in there either. The room I had was nice and pleasant and for the most part clean. However something apparently had leaked from the ceiling staining the sheet on one of the two beds in the room. How the maid had not seen this stain I can't begin to imagine, but that stained sheet remained on the bed through my entire stay. I stayed here because of the proximity to Clemson. Not a ton that direction, so Greenville is one of your best options. Except for the poor plumbing upstairs that sounded like a jackhammer when it was used, I liked the hotel. Plumbing might be fixed by the time you book here.

Hotel should be destroyed and renovated. Holes in walls, incomplete tiling, elevator was most likely used in the civil war. For a holiday inn express I expected more.

AWFUL. Gaps under the door to hall 1.5 quarter heights tall. Over an inch gap. Hinge pin half out of door. Bolts coming out of lock. Frame to exterior window bent. I can not recommend this hotel: 1 - Outdoor swimming pool is large, but extremely dirty water. 2 - Customers are smoking at the bar / restaurant and employees allow this, actually they are selling the cigarettes. 3 - Soup was not really warm and the ceasar salad was more dressing then salad.

This room is not as described on website. There is no sofabed in the room. I picked this hotel because the description states that there is a sofabed and was planning on having an extra guest stay with us. I paid extra (and guest had a change of plans. The Ice machine on the fouth floor was not working and tub held water while taking a shower. No one wants to stand in ankle deep water while taking a shower. The room was clean and the beds were fine it was OK for a one night stay pass through Greenville S.C.

This hotel is conveniently located, but that's where the positives end. When I checked in at 10 p.m. I noticed that it was very hot on the second floor as I approached my room. They obviously did not have the air conditioning working in the hall. My room was equally hot, but I immediately turned the old style air conditioner on, and the room did start […] to cool down quickly. My floor lamp wasn't working, which wasn't a huge deal. However, I used the restroom, flushed, and discovered that the toilet was stopped up....despite the fact that I had only deposited fluids. The tank obviously wasn't filling, because it started to make a loud noise. I called the front desk and was moved to an adjacent room. It was also very hot (82 degrees) when I entered, but unfortunately this unit was not as efficient, and it was still 78" 45 minutes later. I called the front desk to inform them, but declined changing rooms yet again. It finally cooled off at about 3 a.m. The room itself was fine, but not great. It was fairly clean, but was obviously somewhat dated. My sink in the second room didn't drain properly, so I couldn't run water while brushing my teeth. My room was also lacking the sheers that hotel rooms normally have, so I had the choice of a dark room or exposing myself to those in the parking lot. Not a huge deal, but I would expect better. When checking out, I made my feelings known, and asked the clerk to have the manager call me. I still haven't heard from them. Don't stay here unless you are cold-blooded, and enjoy the heat! I can't imagine why they wouldn't have the a/c units running before guests arrive (especially guests with reservations...it's not like they didn't know I was coming!) I heard that Holiday Inn was trying to improve their image, but this property is not doing them any favors. Read more

Over all I liked the hotel. However at checkin they did not have the type of room I had reserved a month earlier. I requested smoking room king size bed however they advised the seas rooms open down for over a month. If this had been the case should they have contacted me after I've made my reservation.
