Good experience except for the noise coming from the adjoining room. we called the front desk and they called the adjoining room (we know because we could here the phone ring). So depending on the who you have staying in the room next to you, it was a great experience.

It was not good. My husband has a health condition and who would have thought a hotel near a hospital that does not have an elevator. Was very hard for him to get up the stairs to our room. Also, our air conditioning did not work, and they couldn't fix it and the worker was to come back to our room to try and at least turn off the heat, he never showed […] up. As a priority club member I was very disappointed. I will not stay in this hotel again and right now not excited about my upcoming stay at a holiday in at Myrtle Beach, I hope that hotel will be a better experience. Read more

Comfortable, easy access. It should be noted there's no elevator to reach the 2nd floor in case that's a concern.

This was one of the best hotel stays in a long time. From the front desk receptionist to breakfast the next morning, everyone was very polite and friendly. I highly recommend and will stay here again in my next through the KC area.

No heat. Also,the outlets on the lamps didn't work, i had to unplug a lamp and use the wall outlet for my laptop and the bathroom outlet for the coffee maker.

Enjoyed stay at facility very much. The only negative comment is that there did not seem to be enough staff available for premier service. Went to restaurant for dinner after arriving, and saw no service people available in restaurant or bar. Eventually asked if it was okay to sit and have dinner and ordered a drink. I ordered a dirty martini, but could […] not have one as there were no olives (hence, no olive juice) available. Then waiter informed us that he was waiter and also bartender as they were short handed. Dinner was excellent and prices were reasonable. Amount of food was plentiful. When checking out next AM, no staff person at desk-only a sign that said he would return as he was helping another guest. Had to wait several minutes to complete checkout and we were anxious to get on the road as we had a 12 hour drive. Room was comfortable and beds were as well. Appreciated discounts given for dining. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room was hot and humid. The AC didn't work good. The room was humid even with the AC on 60F. The toilet wasn't anchored completely to the floor. The bathtub had lints, hairs and debris.

There was nothing to hang the towels or anything else on!! The bed was very comfortable. The people who cleaned the room were great, even bringing another towel. The front desk could have been more helpful.

As I was looking for motels in the Lenexa And Olathe area for overnight stay for baseball tourney. I was pleasantly surprised with our accomodations here. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Many restaurants close by. I would recommend this establishment.

Overall the hotel was fine. As most Holiday Inns, for the price this should include breakfast like so many other hotels do that are even a bit lower in price. The breakfast buffet was $12.95 per person. That is expensive! We skipped it. However, the front desk clerk was very nice and let us check out a bit later and that was very helpful.

My wife was relocated to Overland Park and we were here for a house hunting trip. I have stayed here before and it was quite nice, but its not worth the trouble at all anymore. There is no elevator, so I had to haul 5 days worth of luggage up 2 flights of stairs. My wife is 7 months pregnant and she needs a few things for extra comfort, like a pillow. […] We asked the front desk for an extra pillow and was instantly told no, but "she would check". 2 hours later we call the front desk and "she just checked and they dont have any". You're telling me in an entire hotel of rooms and beds they dont have ONE extra pillow for a pregnant woman? The breakfast is laughable at $10/person for the same free breakfasts found at comparable hotels for the same price of room. They do give you a $2 off coupon, but you can only use one per ticket, so the both of us would have to get seperate checks. For Dinner they offer a 15% off coupon, but really? After the menu says they add on 19% gratuity its not even worth the trouble. There's a Cracker Barrell a few miles away that you can get a real breakfast for under $10 person, and even better a Waffle house you can get a breakfast for under $4 a person. The service is horrible, the staff was rude. Housekeeping was knocking on my door at 9am on saturday to clean my room. I told them we would be here for 5 days (I regret that now) and we will let them know when we need something. I wont be back or recommend this hotel to anyone. Read more

First i showed up and was given the keys to someone elses room...opened the door to find another man on the computer in "my room" when i carried all my things back down to the lobby the front desk girl laughed it off giving me another room. When i arrived at the new room it was a little warm so i turned on the air, it didn't work so i called down to […] the front desk...3 hours and 6 phone calls later i had not seen a maintenance person and it was time for bed so i asked for a new room which they obliged and 3 minutes later the maintenance man showed up with a new room key! Why couldn't he have just come and fixed my A/C? I had to drag my things half way across the hotel to a new room, in my PJ's and when i got in this room it was a double queen instead of a king...at this point i was far to tired to complain and just went to sleep. Unfortunately this hotel is across the street from our KC office and would have been very convenient but thanks to the service i will not be staying again. I can say that the hotel and the rooms were really great looking and very clean, very upscale "feeling" its just too bad the service was so bad. Read more

We got to the hotel at about 9:00 p.m.. There was a line at the front desk because the clerk was having a problem with the computer system and there was a large group that arrived just before we did. Ok, it happens. No problem. When we got to our room, however, it was clear that housekeeping had missed it as the bed was unmade and used towels were […] all over. Ok. That maybe happens too. We got a new room from the front desk easily and the new room was nice. However, we spent the night uncomfortably as the hotel's air conditioning was apparently not working. Typically not a problem in October, but the weather was unusually warm and the room was very hot all night. On the plus side, the staff was pleasant and very accommodating on what I imagine was a difficult night for them. They gave us complimentary breakfast buffet passes, and the food was very good. We are from Topeka Ks, and frequent the Kansas CityMo. area once a month to get away for the weekend. This hotel is nice, only issue I had was you can't smoke on the balcony or the rooms, I can understand not smoking in the rooms but the balcony, it's outside. Other than that wasn't a bad stay. Would return.

The price and quality of the room were great. The problems I had were the person that checked us in, was not very helpful or polite. I had to listen to her speaking to another individual about how she was only scheduled to work 3 days next week. I felt like I had interrupted something. I also didn't like that I had to ask how to get to my room. Evertime […] I've stayed anywhere, the person at the desk has given me good explaination of where my room was and where to park. There was no elevator to reach the 2nd floor, made it a bit challenging to reach my room. When I parked my car in front of the hotel it was clean. Do not stay here if you cannot carry your own luggage up a couple of flights of stairs - there is no elevator. Also, do not expect much from the breakfast buffet. The room was fairly clean and the rate was fair.

For a Holiday Inn, with a hotel orientation, it was not up to standards and very disappointing. Convienent to where I was going, but not what I expected. Could have stayed in a lower cost location, Red Roof or somthing, and been just as conforatable.

I made our reservations on line figuring we can't go wrong with a Holiday Inn. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The rooms were so-so, no fridges or microwaves, it was extremely hot the weekend we stayed and we had our AC set at 60. We should have had icicles forming, but the room was cool at best.
