The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We just stopped in for the weekend on our way home from Florida and it was perfect! One block from Bourbon street and close to all the local places in the French Quarter. The restaurant tied to it "The Old Saint" had excellent top notch food and over 50 beers on tap. The hotel staff was friendly and the hotel was super nice and clean. We had to pay […] 35$ for overnight parking but it was worth it. We will definitely be back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Indifferent staff, dirty outdated room, overpriced, stay somewhere else in the QuarterGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel service was lousy, longest check in I ever experienced and I had to do it twice because after the 2nd of a 3 day stay I some how was checked out. TV didn't work, called to fix, after being fixed broke again. Construction taken place in hotel, have to share elevator with construction crew, not pleasant when trying to get to upper floorsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"location is awesome"
Location is awesome. Super clean room. Had the deluxe room. Seems its under renovation but floor 19 was renovated. Pool was awesome and indoors with awesome view. Parking was convenient. Easy to find. Best location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I would recommend!"
Overall, the hotel was fine. A couple comments: the staff was not overly friendly, which I attribute to the close proximity to Bourbon street. Some education in hospitality management would be helpful. Staff refused to help us microwave our leftovers. Having a common atea microwave that guests could would be nice. Lots of transients right in front of […] the hotel was a distraction. Room service staff was very poorly trained. But overall, I would recommend the hotel due to very large guest rooms, and close walking distance to attractions. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Outstanding Staff and Great Location"
This hotel has an outstanding and accommodating staff. Any issues they were immediately on it. It is a 2 block walk to bourbon street, restaurants, bars and convenient to get in/out of the quarter. Parking in the adjacent deck is convenient but expensive ($30/night). The hotel is dated and tired but the room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here […] again and it's a good value for the location. It's not a 4 or 5 start but it is a solid 3+ Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not too bad."
The hotel was nice and the staff was courteous. Free parking was included with our room and prompted us to choose this hotel. They could not find our reservation upon check-in, even with the confirmation number we had printed out, but the manager put us in an upgraded room and sorted it out without making us wait.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel is out dated but the service was very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect French Quarter location"
Great location in French Quarter...few blocks from Bourbon and short walk to Jackson Square so enjoyed the beauty of the Quarter without the all-night party noise. Excellent value for the location and room type. In addition, had a coupon for free parking included with hotels.com booking (parking is usually $20-30 per night) with parking garage attached […] to hotel (which is not always the case in New Orleans). Room was recently remodeled...very clean and comfortable bed. Nothing fancy but very comfortable and quiet which is rare in a lot of N.O. hotels. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had an issue with our room when we returned after an evening out and when contacted the staff moved us to another room within ten minutes. The hotel itself was old and in need of some upgrading, but considering it's location, was what was expected and acceptable. The hallways and elevators were hot with no […] air movement and somewhat uncomfortable when large groups of people were present waiting. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location to Bourbon"
Great location to Bourbon Street and French Quarter. Can't beat the priceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms were nasty, the lamp and tv didn't work, the room was poorly lit, smelled like urine, elevators took forever to come, no help unloading luggage, nice location but that's about itGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff is not up to snuff. Took forever to get into room. Room service tray was observed in the hall for over 24 hours. OLD HOTEL, but room was upgraded and very nice and clean. Great location to walk N.O. Just around the corner from all the Bourbon street noise and crowd.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was within walking distance of everything except the zoo. All staff were very friendly. Would definetly stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was charged double by the hotel and when I called they were not very friendly. The rooms were okay but not worth $300 a night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great local/ weird choices"
The location of the Wyndham was perfect but there were window washers and construction at 9am and they turned off the hotel water at 1 pm in the middle of the day. The staff were outstanding and helpful and the hotel restaurant had a fantastic beer selection.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, hot shower"
The location is perfect, (right on Royal St) shower has hot water, bed comfy, bottle water in room & little coffee maker in room. But you have to park in garage yourself & carry your own luggage to hotel...so pack light people!! Staff relatively friendly & nice restaurant attached to hotel. The condition of the hotel is extremely run down, hadn't been […] remodeled since disco was the in thing. Spots on the carpets, no clean washcloths left for us after maid came by & very, very hot in the hallways & elevators. Would I stay there again? Not unless I was a college student & the only thing that mattered was partying in NO... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Motel with a Wyndham label attached"
The hotel room themselves are very similar to what you would find in a motel from the smell to the cleanliness of the room. Additionally, housekeeping did not come at all during the 2 nights we were there. We had to call down each day to even request clean towels. On a good note, the hotel is in ideal location if you want to be in the quarter. It's […] 2 blocks from the Hard Rock on Bourbon and one block over from Canal. I personally would not stay at this hotel again and would rather pay the extra money at another hotel to get a better room and better service. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We heard a loud noise that seemed to be coming from the wall throughout the night. Not sure if it was piping issues or elevator.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location one block off Bourbon Street."
renovations going on in the hotel. Very loud construction early in the mornings. Our room appeared to be recently completed so the carpet was new and clean. The room was small with a tiny bathroom. The tub would not drain so you stood in water while taking a shower.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff very friendly.......location great for tours, restaurants, & site seeing.......construction going on in the hotel which began with jack hammers at 7:45am & lasted until 6:00pm........great rates for king bed rooms seemed to compensate for the noise......free parking coupon given @ Hotels.com .......did not get a receipt though.......didn't realize […] it till I got home & was doing my on line checking !! Very nice location and the rooms were nice and clean.. The only bad was the elevators would be a 20 minute wait. 16 floors we were on the 11th and walked the stairs which stank badly because we was getting tired of waiting on the elevators. 3 elevators and only 1 worked.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Well this pet friendly hotel says there is a 100 dollar deposit for dogs. The lady at the front desk told me it was a deposit and I would get my money back in 3 to 4 business days. Well at check out the deposit became a fee! So dont be fooled by these deposits.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was dirty. Location was great. That was the only positive. AC had problemsGenuine Expedia guest review
Old. Dirty. Gross. Over priced ..for 50.00 more dollars u can stay in a lot nicer hotels...and I was will to pay more but advisor at hotel.com over hyped it to me.... Never again thereGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what I expected"
When I was looking on hotels.com for a hotel I saw the Wyndham. In most cases you get what you pay for. However, for $200 a night I expected a much nicer room or at least free parking. Also I was double charged at checkout. The staff was nice when I called to report it but a double charge of $250 is a huge inconvenience. I will more than likely not […] be booking anymore rooms with them. I will look for a hotel with parking included. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My girlfriend and I stayed here starting Friday night, ending Sunday morning. The hotel was easy to find, in a fantastic location inside the French Quarter. We stayed on the 18th floor in a quite large king bed room. The view was decent, but it window was in an alcove of the building so it was limited. The hotel was clean, the room was clean, the bed […] was very comfortable. There was apparently renovations going on on the 17th floor but we would have never known if not for the elevator stopping there a few times, so don't let that deter you. The hotel has a heated indoor pool and small fitness room equipped with cardiovascular equipment and dumbells in the 10th floor. There is also a restaurant with about 50 beers on tap attached to the hotel. We did not try it, but it seemed nice enough. There was also a parking garage attached to the hotel with ample parking which was a nice convenience. There were ample elevators, the desk staff were nice, everything was great. I cannot really think of any complaints. I would definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Well, depending upon the nature if your stay the location of the hotel is either excellent or noisy. You go for the nightlife I would say 5 stars. If not, we'll chose another location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Do know that we are also 1 block away from the Business District if that is helpful for you next visit. Thank you for your business! Sarah Gagnon Director of Sales & Marketing
The staff at the front desk weren't that nice or helpful. Especially considering I think most of the people of New Orleans are the nicest people around. The block was a little skid row ish. Thankfully steps to the right or left and I were on a new blockGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"good location, but"
The pool was closed for part of our stay. This was pre-scheduled and the info could and should have been on their web site. Two different days, water was shut off for 4 hours 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. While we received notice the evening before, this was inconvenient.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wyndham in New Orleans"
This hotel is really old and nasty. When we got there, the lobby is so small and the hotel is under staff. After checking in, they gave us 2 keys to the room and only 1 key worked. You need the room key to access the elevator. Our room is on the 18th floor and the window is facing another building. The toilet bowl lid wont stay opened. Like everyone […] said, they used really low quality toilet paper. We paid $609/deluxe room for 2 nights. When we checked out, they surprised us with a charged of $70 for parking fee. I really felt like we got totally ripped off...please stay away from the Wyndham. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Very convenient location in the French quarter"
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Check in was quick and easy. Concierge always greeted us, coming and going, asking if we needed anything. Wall mounted thermostat and controls kept the room temperature just right. Parking was convenient although a bit pricy. Hotel is just a block off of bourbon street which is a fairly dirty and smelly area. The elevators […] access the parking area so they're a bit dirty and smelly as well. "Family Friendly Hotel"
It wasn't the nicest, nor was it a dump but my kids loved the indoor pool and my wife and I loved the location and fact that it had a parking garage (although it was an additional expense). We have stayed in many of the local hotels over the years but after rediscovering this location its our new go to spot. We were able to park our car early and head out. We waited for a phone call and zipped in to check and headed out again. Staff very accomodating and friendly. Nice restaurant and bar on site. We were steps away from Seanger theater […] and Palace Cafe as well as Jackson Square. This is in the heart of some of our favorite places to be while in the city. "Not Worth the $$"
I spend a lot of time in New Orleans and have stayed at many various hotels. I paid about $400 a night to stay here in May of 2014. This was my last stay. The location of the hotel is great and the beds are very clean and comfortable. The "on site" self parking is also convenient. The negatives are: the bathroom was dirty. The room was very plain - […] can you say Motel 6? Also, they do not offer Valet Services or Bell Hop (baggage) Services. The restaurant was not very good either, sorry Deuce McAllister. I would rate a 2 out of 5 stars. If the price was $150 a night I would give it s 3 out of 5 stars. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Insanely expensive parking charges"
PROS: great location with easy access to the nicer parts of the French Quarter, free Wi-Fi that worked with moderate speed CONS: parking charges WAY higher than all the other hotels in the area (if we had known how expensive parking would be, we could have flown to NOLA for cheaper than it cost to park our car), musty smelling room, hallways leading […] up to room were dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke, shower took more than five minutes running in order to run warm water, mixed experience with the front desk employees (one was extremely polite upon check out, the other was extremely rude upon check in) OVERALL: I would only stay at this hotel again if I were to fly to NOLA, even then I would be reluctant since the rooms are not the cleanest or the best smelling. "Great location with onsite parking"
Hotel has a very good location on Royal St. just off Canal St. with an attached parking garage. The hotel exhibits considerable wear and is due for a renovation. "French Quarter Fun"
Had a great time, hotel was nice, clean and surprisingly quiet considering it is only 1 block off of Bourbon Street. Beds were a little firmer than I like, but not bad overall. Parking was convenient but pricey. No fridge in the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old and tired. Needs a good cleaning"
Hot water on the 16th floor was hit and miss but the big detractor was the overall state of the hotel: not clean, broken bathroom fixtures and tired/dated furniture and decorations coupled with shoddy service make this a two star hotel in a great location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
