Nice location, nice people running it, but stay was ruined by noise through the night from a busload of college age kids touring DC. They were loud, and we could not avoid hearing them and all their comings and goings. We asked them to keep it quiet (at 2:30 AM), and they toned it down, but the hotel is just not constructed to dampen noise.

We were in DC for one night and this location was very convenient for our purpose. The hotel is comfortable and clean and a good choice when all you are looking for is a place to sleep. While it may not have a lot of amenities it has all the basics including reasonable parking. We'll definitely consider staying there on our next trip

I spent only 1 night. The young man at the lobby overnight was on spot. Very helpful. It does appear to me though the blinds give the room occupants not enough privacy if the lights are not completely turned off. The room was clean. Great location, good rate.

The room was not cleaned. Bed sheets were old and stained with hair attachments on pillow covers. I expected much more from a room for $250. The quality was comparable to $60 hotels I used to stay when I was a student.

This hotel wasn't filthy, there were not bugs or any horror stories but it was still a let down. Our room had someone's initials carved in the drywall. I had to repair the shower faucet handle myself. The wireless router was […] sitting on the floor of our room. It just wasn't nice. The bed was fine, the staff was helpful but the stay just wasn't good. If all you need is a place to sleep than this might be worth it. WITH PAPER THIN WALLS AND DOORS THAT DON'T BLOCK HALLWAY NOISE, THIS WAS THE NOISIEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. THE HEATER IN THE ROOM BLEW OUT SO MUCH DUST I HAD TO TURN IT OFF. THE INSTANT COFFEE IN THE ROOM TASTED BETTER THAN THE BURNT COFFEE IN THE LOBBY. A MUST AVOID.....

Only stayed one night on a two night reservation. Bathroom was very small but clean. The faucet fixture and the spray fixture were not attached to wall and you had to hold them to operate shower. Rug looked like it needed to be replaced. DOn't think shampoo would clean it enough. Close to my son's residence but would NEVER stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable; good location and near metro. Customer Service is nonexistent. Hotel staff was rude all 3 days of my stay which is unfortunate. Would stay here again because of location but won't look forward to it.

They knowingly put me in a room with a broken tv; when I tried to talk to a manager there was no one available and front desk staff was utterly useless.

All was fine until the people in the next room came in at 1:00 a.m. I heard them chat, unzip suitcases and blow their noses for the next hour. The walls held nothing back. They may as well have been in the room with me.

The hotel was very clean and felt very secure and safe. The room and lobby were very clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. The decor (soft thick pillows, soft sheets, a lot of lamps, swivelling flat screen TV) exceeded my expectations. The hotel is O.K., but the buffet breakfast offered by Il Tesoro is very bad. No fruits or vegetables whatsoever, you pay extra for any drinks (even coffee or tea) and they will automatically put the 18% tip in the bill for you.

I did not spend too much time in the room. The room come with double queen beds and a 40 inch flat screen tv . The bathroom was lean, n I saw the cleaners n they asked me if I need my room to be clean. Listen for $60, it was perfect. You can use the train or a 14 to 20 dollar cab ride to get you into downtown DC.

It was my first time ever in that part of DC. Nice convenient area though. The heat in my room took way to long to warm up the room. I couldn't get in the hotel swiping my card after hours therefore I had to walk in the front building. That was a bit of an inconvenience. It wasn't great but for the price I paid, it was worth it.
