I would never recommend to stay in this hotel. No hot water, stripped outlets in the bathroom. Clogged shower drain. No operable exercise facility. Directed to take shuttle to next hotel a few miles away.

Front lobby was nice. Walking to the room saw paint peeling off the doors. Entering the room there was a heavy smoke smell. I called to request another room and was told this was a non-smoking room. Room service came with a spray bottle and sprayed Fabreze on the walls and in the air duct. There was very low water pressure for the hot water. The lounge area downstairs has the finest furnishings made in 1981. The only bright spot was the breakfast was pretty good (not included in price). This is an old, smelly property that needs some major renovation or a complete tear down.

From the outside, the hotel looks old and run down. Inside, the hotel does not look quite as old as it looks from the outside, but overall, the hotel was a bit disappointing compared to other Holiday Inns I'm used to.

We paid way too much money for what we got. The first room one of the beds were broken. So of course we asked for another room. As we were leaving the first room we found out that they had already given this horrible room to someone else. They were standing at the door as we were moving our stuff to the next room and they were on their third room.

The hotel was being renovated. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly, but the condition of the building was old and they were trying to make it better. I had to take a shuttle to the work out facilities to another hotel. because it was closed. AC was loud...kind of like a jet engine. Workers were drilling and working on some floors at early hours of the morning...but I wasn't on that floor thank goodness!

Hotel is obviously old, but undergoing renovations - several areas weren't available during our stay that we would have liked to have been able to use (hot tub and fitness center). Front desk staff were pleasant, but service was rather slow. Room was clean and bedding was comfortable, but furniture wasn't in the best shape. A/C wasn't cooling well; room has an old thermostat and we had it set to 68, but it was still blowing mostly warm air. Thankfully, the weather wasn't too warm, so we didn't complain about it. Pool was clean, but it and the atrium around it could definitely use some upgrades. Nice little poolside bar. Breakfast was very good (omelets made to order); however, we paid a bit extra to have breakfast included, but we had to go to the front desk to get vouchers and those were only available for 2 people and we had 4 in the room (2 adults & 2 kids - and that's what we included in the reservation). Thankfully, one of our kids was young enough to eat free and I didn't go to breakfast, so it didn't cost extra, but I would have been very irritated if I had gone and had to pay! Overall, we'd probably stay there again for a short trip, but definitely don't think the hotel and amenities as they currently are were worth the price we paid.

Hotel is about 12 min. from Opry land we took a shuttle from hotel. Mall is in the same area. Also it is a 15 min. drive to the downtown area and a 3 hr. drive to Memphis to see Graceland.

This hotel was very nice, although our room had a few issues. AC vent was cracked and the tub was draining very slowly. Housekeeping did not clean the room, which was a little disappointing. But all in all we would come back again.

The first concierge was great. He even upgraded our room to a higher floor because he knew it was our first time in nashville and the view was beautiful! The next one at checkout acted like she had no clue what she was doing. She even told me she couldn't give me a receipt for the stay when I was checking out. The hotel bar was amazing as was the rest of the hotel. Very clean and nice. I would stay again.

Decent hotel, good service and staff. Only issue was there was hair in the bathroom that was in the shower. Other than that I felt very comfortable inside of the room. Parking wasn't the best after a certain time. I would stay here another time if given the opportunity.

the hotel was nice at entrance , but as you start getting to you room on onside you will realize its a old hotel and the upkeep hasn't been good. i was given a room outside which there was blue placard stating its non smoking . when i walked inside its had such a strong smell of cigar. as if some one just smoked and left. i called front desk and they said well we will send some one to spray fragrance to reduce the smell. 3 hours nothing happened . The room entrance door had big patch with nails showing it was covering a hole or something. with holiday inn this is second time i have seen irrespective how hotel is the service suffers it feels like they don't care.

Room was stained and smelly. Service in the diner was terrible, we waited over 15 minutes to be seated in a near empty room, food took approximately 25 to be delivered, and drinks were never replenished, we waited about 20 mins for our check after food was gone. Dirty dishes were never removed from the table, servers were not seen after delivering the food. Breakfast was good besides instant eggs. Sevice was much better in the am!

Check-in was friendly & courteous and even recommended a great local pizza place, but the other staff (specifically in gift shop & restaurant were the complete opposite). TV remote did not work (they did bring up a replacement about 1/2 hr after we called down). The AC/Heat unit was very loud and the bed was like sleeping on a slab of rock with very squishy/insufficient pillows. The most disappointing thing about this hotel was hands-down the pool, it was NOT heated & despite being indoors, it was FREEZING....you have to walk through the common area & bar (which was full of people) to reach the pool, and the provided towels were the size of hand towels, which made the walk back through the crowd all the more unpleasant. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.

I wasn't impressed. Room was not really clean. Crack in ceiling was half repaired and drywall mud smeared down the wallpaper. The room smelled musty. The pillows on the bed were the size of throw pillows.

Hotel staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. My daughter and I were there for a concert and the front desk arranged for transportation and could not have been any more helpful. They are currently renovating the hotel and once that is done, it will be an exceptional place to stay.

Brief, one night stay to attend work related meeting. Was able to book a room the same day needed. Smoking rooms were available which seems to be rare these days. Plenty of parking and a convenient, easy to find location. Getting out of the parking lot with a left turn was very difficult in the morning due to the high volume of traffic.

they have the most amazing person working at the check in desk. I booked a king size bed room and when i checked in and went to my room i had two double beds so i went right back down to the desk and the first lady that i spoke to pretty much told to bad we are booked up. then along came Janet Hanna she was the sweetest kindest person she worked for a while and said im not sure this will work butttttt and some way some how she pulled it off and got me and my wife (that were celebrating 20 years of marriage) a king size room and for my trouble she gave us vouchers for 2 breakfast buffets and 2 drinks at the bar.

The registration desk clerks were a little too unprofessional discussing personal things we did not want to hear about while we were trying to check in. The lobby connects to the pool which was beautiful and they had a tiki hut there in the pool area. Our bathroom had paper items on the vanity top which had been left from the stay. The room had dust all over the ceiling but the rest of the room was clean. When we went into the bar in the evening it was nice but a little too loud with the live band. We could not hear each other and left after one drink.

Selected hotel based on location to the airport. Was in town one day for business meeting and had early flight home in the morning. I found the front desk staff to be very friendly at check in. The room was good for the purpose of sleeping however housekeeping could have done a better job. It appears that the hallway A/C units cannot keep up on hot days. Once you were away from the front desk area you noticed the lack of air conditioning very hot.

The room had huge stains on the carpet, the pillows were very lumpy, low quality polyester blend sheets, stain on the duvet, some of the tile in the bathroom was missing and skimpy thin towels. We were on the 9th floor and heard drums from the lounge tip after 11pm.

Everything was great,but FREE breakfast should be for all that is staying in the room. There were Three people in the room and only two peolpe could eat with the ticket I had to pay for 1 breakfast plus tax for the three breakfast. So free is not free.

Moldy shower tiles, no refrig or microwave in room, charge extra for breakfast hot tub down, very few inaccessible luggage carriers. Used this as my free hotels.com night so it was discounted. I felt like that's what the price should've been anyway. I will stay at the HI express versions from now on, this was a beautiful property from the outside and the lobby area, just not for families. Used frequently be airline personnel. Pool is in the lobby, not behind closed doors, and FREEZING!!

The hotel is in desparate need of remodeling and repair. Carpet and tile in our room was stained. Cabinets and bedding fairly old. But the worst was the noise. They have a live band in thier bar on Saturday nights and you can hear it throuout the hotel. We were traveling and needed to stay in Nashville one night to sleep before another 8 hour drive the next day. We were on the 7th floor and could hear the thumping of the base until after midnight. I had such a hard time believing that this could be from a band 6 floors below that I asked the front desk for a staff person to come to my room and verify that this was what it was and not music or a party in a nearby room. They never came even though they said they would send someone right away.

Positives: Excellent pool, breakfast, and staff friendliness. Negatives: Hotel was loud, unclean, beds uncomfortable. When we arrived at the room, it appeared as if another family had been there. The toilet had dried urine on and underneath the seat! (I took pictures) The sheets were wrinkled as if someone made a dirty bed. The tub was dirty as well. When I called down to obtain a housekeeper, I was told that they were off duty. When I asked for another room I was told that there were no more available rooms. Since I booked through an outside source, I could not get a refund. I was personally delivered cleaning supplies for ME to clean the bathroom. How insulting! Then at 2 AM there were 10 teenagers hanging out in the hallway talking loudly and joking around. I had to ask them to be quiet. This was my first and last experience with the holiday inn. I was highly disappointed. I have stayed at many hotels in Nashville and this was my first upset.

We found the staff to be uite pleasant. There was no iron in the room, though there was an ironing board. In the restaurant, we found the dinners to be quite tasty and served the way we requested. Breakfast was a nightmare. We opted to order off the menu. I requested yogurt and a bowl of fruit and was served the yogurt in a tall water glass mand had to re-request the fruit. Considering the time of year, the fruit bowl was lacking in color, or freshness. It consisted of melon, pineapple and some nasty tasting grapefuit. My husband ordered blueberry pancakes. After a lengthy wait, he got buttermilk pancakes. The waiter obviously could barely understand English. We reordered the blueberry pancakes and after another lengthy wait a 2nd order of buttermilk pancakes were delivered. There were 2 breakfast menus presented. One had buttermilk pancakes on it, the other blueberry pancakes. My husband showed him the blueberry pancakes on his menu and ordered them a third time. Needless to say, breakfast was a fiasco. We finally did received the blueberry pancakes, but the waiter was so unable to understand or speak English, it was disturbing.

We were in town for The Color Run 5k, and needed a place to stay for the night before the race since we had a ways to drive and the race started rather early. So, we booked this hotel, and for the over $200 a night that we paid, expected something pretty awesome. I usually stay in a Hyatt Place, it is what I prefer, but sadly there were no rooms open at the Hyatt for this night. Anyway, when we arrived we were very disappointed to find that the room was much less than we expected!! We had booked an "executive suite" or something like that (I forgot what they called it) but basically it was a king bed, a desk and a chair in a small room. Talk about disappointing. However, the view was nice, and the lobby staff was very friendly and helpful. I just was expecting a lot more for the price considering this hotel was not really downtown, and didn't really offer anything amazing (not even a free cheap breakfast haha). All in all, it was a decent place, but there is no way I would pay that much to stay there again.

Hotel was easily accessible from the interstate highways. There was some road noise at the hotel from a parkway that it was situated upon. It was Friday night and the hotel had a band. You could hear the bass and the drums from the 8th floor. The airport is also near by so you sometimes hear an aircraft coming in. The room was comfortable and clean. It showed some age in the bathroom. Lots of caulking around the tub. Adequate water pressure. Food in the hotel restaurant was good. Not priced inexpensively but not unreasonable either.

Hotel was in a great location, pretty clean, but needs maintenance. Resturaunt food was good, service was great.

Outstanding, will visit again. Everyone we meet greeted us, the pool was wonderful, food on site was great, no need to leave in order to get good food. Great beds, overall I would give this hotel a 10.
