We stayed here for 3 nights with friends. All were good except that in the breakfast they served expired yogurt all days. Unfortunate my we realized it on last day. Manager was rude when informed. Registered complaint with Best Western. A simple apology received. Let's hope no one gets sick.

The hotel was good. It just happened we pulled in when there was a bus full of tourists. Staff managed well considering the rush of people. Room was clean and quiet as hotel is set back from the busy street. Breakfast was adequate but the room provided is too small and was crowded when we arrived to eat. The staff was considerate and helped give us the directions we inquired about; giving us good suggestions and honest evaluation of the restaurants.

Leaking refrigerator caused serious water leakage on floor. Had to be careful not to be standing in water when working with electrical. Room was too close to the front desk. Could hear all clatter from breakfast area. They did move us to another room and gave us a break on the price, so, all in all, it worked out. B. W. needs to review it's rating system. The "Plus" rating, which is supposed to be an upgrade from the lower rated hotel, means nothing.

The hotel is not bad, the free breakfast is not bad either if you get there early enough (very small room). The location of the hotel more than makes up for the small dinning area. Would recommend for the weekend get-away.

Considering how little time we spend in the room, this hotel was fine. Very well located. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. The free breakfast is gross, so we just went across the street to eat. The room showed signs of wear and was about 90% clean each day. Worst feature was the heating-air conditioning unit which worked erratically. The place seemed secure and safe and was very quiet at night, which we appreciated.

The first room we were assigned to had not been cleaned. The beds were made, however, there were food crumbs all over the carpet, the carpet itself was pretty nasty and there was something really nasty looking on the pillow. The hotel staff did move us to another room, which was cleaner. The coffee maker in the room was missing the basket for the coffee pod.

The rooms were clean and updated somewhat. The only problem was with the newly painted rooms there was a strong smell of paint. Also no exhaust fan in the bathroom was not a good idea. The shower steam never went anywhere but in the bathroom and steamed up the mirrors and made it stuffy. The Breakfast was sufficient but the seating area was very small. The last day there we had to sit in hallway to eat and it was only 8:30am they still had 1 1/2 hrs to go for breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were a little bit on the old side. I could imagine that when it was a new bathroom it was quite lovely. The wooden storage under the sink was terrific. Corners here and there needed attention. The bedding was ok but I noticed a tear in the bottom sheet that could not be missed by who ever put it on the bed. But it was clean. Folks were nice enough and friendly . Breakfast was very good and well attended to during the hours given. The price for a king room was reasonable. I would stay again for a good price.

Overpriced for the one night weekend stay. Room was dark. Breakfast buffet was too crowded and food was cold. Handle cover food was broken and no attempt to replace it was made by the staff. So when attempted to heat it up in my room, the microwave did not work! Mattress was hard and uncomfortable! Could hear loud noises in hallway. Had to check out key to use fitness room ( which was small). I was told it was by staff when I checked in that it open 24 hrs, but there were designated hours posted ont he door. Front desk staff had a horrible attitude and really had to TRY to be nice. Had to give license plate number at check-in and then room number when checking out key for fitness center... felt like my every move was bring watched.

We had excellent service from the front desk, from providing directions to stores and being able to check out a day early due to weather. Rooms where clean, the hair dryer did not work though, otherwise would definitely recommend hotel to others.

The hotel was great and the rooms were comfortable. The king bed was spacious and soft. I was also impressed with how quiet the a/c unit was. My only true complaint would be that the doors to the rooms close so hard. Many hotels we've been to have spring loaded doors that allow them to close easy and quietly. At 1am or even 8am this can be very annoying and bothersome. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

It was a very clean hotel with very friendly staff. There are plenty of restaurants right in the area though they are within walking distance, some are across the highway which is busy so I found it easier to just drive to them. It has an indoor pool and Jacuzzi that is nicely maintained.

Our AC unit was broken but they moved us to a new room as soon as we asked the front desk about it. the rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice and the breakfast was as good as any other hotel.

Pleasant staff, clean rooms & VERY comfortable beds. We will definately stay here again. 2 miles to William & Mary & Colonial Williamsburg. Any kind of restaurant & differant shops all nearby. Along with everything historical, Virginia Bch is about 45 minutes away.

We easily obtained reservation just 2 days before our visit to Williamsburg when most hotels we checked seemed to be booked for our one night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. Some Expedia reviews indicated hotel had old TVs in the rooms. We did not find that to be the case. Our room had LG flatscreen which had very good reception. The only drawback to our stay was after checking into our room we discovered it did not have the 2 double beds we had booked. Instead it had 1 king bed and a pull out sleeper sofa. The staff advised they had no longer had any rooms available with 2 double beds. However, this proved no big deal to our two young grandchildren. They slept quite well on the sofa for he one night we stayed.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. I was a bit upset that the pool was not open when it was supposed to be at 9:00 a.m. My daughter was too tired to swim the night before and we wanted to get in a quick swim before checking out. The breakfast was okay, but I was really looking forward to waffles.

During our recent 1 night stay Williamburg had a pretty bad storm which caused a lot of local flooding. Apparently this hotel has some issues with the carpet getting wet after a heavy downpour. After returning to our room after a day at Bush Gardens we found the carpet in the corner of the room to be soaking wet. After reporting it to the front desk the attendant didn't look to surprised and informed us that we could speak to a manager in the morning regarding the problem. She also informed us that they were completely booked so they could not move us to another room. In the morning we awoke to find not just the corner of the room soaked but now half of the carpet in the room was soaked were it had seeped further out into the room over night. GROSS!! When going back to the front desk we were told by a different clerk that the manager had credited us for 1/2 a nights stay. We never got to speak to a manager regarding the situation. What happened to customer service?? Better yet where is maintenance to fix this problem so that other people don't have the same experience. After looking around the room especially at the furniture it's apparent that there has been water damage in that room before. We will NEVER stay here again. If you choose this hotel make sure you're not on the first floor.

We just wanted a hotel for one night so we could enjoy historic Williamsburg the next day. We weren't sure te quality of the hotel because of the price, but when we got there we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean and updated, while still keeping that historic charm.
