Mixed reviews. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bell hop desk was good. They drove me to my destination and promised me a ride back, but I ended up having to get a taxi to get back to the hotel. The manager tried to make it up to me by offering me free breakfast buffet coupons, but not until after I had already ordered room service […] breakfast. No one would answer the Guest Services phone when I tried to call to cancel the room service. The "accessible room" meant the bathroom door would not stay open and there was no counter space in the bathroom. The air conditioner was not cool enough and it was noisy. Even though their shuttle runs 24hrs a day, I arrived late at O'hare, so I just took a quick taxi ride to the hotel. The $10 was worth not having to wait. Surprisingly there was a bit of a line to check in at that late hour, but the front desk staff did a good job of getting everyone through the process quickly. The room itself was on the small side, […] but was very clean, and the furniture was in good condition. It looks like the bathroom was redone fairly recently, as it was very nice and clean. The bed itself was very comfortable including the linens. The one big drawback I had with my room was that it was located right next to the elevators, and I could hear every time someone used the elevators. I was thinking about asking for a different room, but as soon as I turned on the fan, I couldn't here it anymore and didn't notice it again throughout the night. The public areas are fairly expansive. I ate breakfast at the main restaurant which was pretty much what you would expect. I also used the workout area, which was located off the indoor pool. I felt that the staff went above and beyond, they gave me vouchers for the breakfast buffet & also gave me a deal on parking. It's a great location if you need to go to the convention center (it's across the street). The rooms were also really nice, I would stay there again.

The rooms was very clean, very comfortable however, very disappointed with the cold water in the shower. We let it run for 15 minutes on only hot and it never got hot. Also, very disappointed with your restaurant. For a five star hotel you should have a bigger restaurant with linens, etc.

The Crowne is very close to the airport and the room was very nice but that's about it. You need to take a cab to the subway to get downtown that isn't cheap. The hotel is not fancy but the service was polite and welcoming. The restaurant was good for families with pizza and popular childrens choises on the menu card. Breakfast buffet was solid and overall we found that for the price the hotel was nice.

My complaints would be that the hotel seemed understaffed for the amount of guests staying in the hotel and conventions it was hosting. I had to wait in line for about 15 minutes, just to check in to the hotel. I was also not pleased with the la carte pricing of everything within the hotel. Although this hotel was in the suburbs and not the city itself, the parking was an additional cost of $23 for the night. This was absolutely insane in my book! We arrived at 10 pm, checked out prior to noon and had to pay $23 just for our car to be parked outside of the hotel for which we had already paid a hefty nightly rate. In addition, the WiFi internet was not free. It was an additional $12.50 a night. The gift shop of the hotel was also no exception to the ridiculous pricing/fees, costing us $8 for 2 bottles of coke. My husband and I, also were a little dismayed when we found out that all of the restaurants, the bar, and anything within the hotel completely shut down at 11 pm. In summary, the rooms were beautiful and the facilities nice. However, hotel was understaffed and the a la carte/over the top pricing made it more of a disappointment then anything. Read more

THe hotel has been remodeled nicely with a very moder approach. I truely enjoyed my stay. I would stay again and book a suite so my family would have a little more room. Nice place. Beautiful decorating. Literally 20 yds from the Akoo Theatre or the convention center. The only downfall is the $23 parking which was NOT mentioned on the website and the bar was TINY and filled with wedding attendees and convention goers. We ended up going to our room and ordering room service.

Went for a downtown Chicago trip, but shouldn't complain too much about location b/c the price was right. Rooms and halls were obviously a bit dated, but pool and breakfast were both quite nice. It would be nice if you provided complimentary bus service to the CTA. As we noticed surrounding hotels provided this service. We did not like the fact when we went to dine at 11:00 Monday morning, our only option was the Buffet. Over priced and not that good. Would have preferred lunch menu.
