    Bed was hard, room was outdated and smelled "funny"...really crowded room, had a queen bed and a chair/ottoman crammed into a tiny space. Used to stay there years ago when it was a Holiday Inn, as 3 of our kids have gone to UNI, but it's gone downhill alot since then. Was hoping for a fun weekend at UNI, but our backs hurt so bad from the horrid bed […] that it wasn't such a great weekend.     The hotel staff was very friendly, the rooms were spacious, there were tones of games in the game room the pool was huge and the beds were comfertable. We had a great time and a great nights rest. We will be going back here whenever we stay in Cedar Falls.

    Our check-in was nice, we were greeted warmly. BUT, at 2:30 in the morning people were trying to get into our room saying that it was there room. I tried calling to the front desk but the phone in our room didn't work so I had to use my cell phone to tell them to not let them in, they were not with us. Then, at 8:00 in the morning we heard loud singing […] and guitar playing outside our room. We were not informed that there was a church service that may wake us up. That would have been very useful information. When we checked out, we were not asked how our stay was so we didn't feel that they cared. Read more

    This hotel is set up very strangely. There was music blaring from the pool area in the morning and the walls are paper thin. The front desk clerk was somewhat rude. Comfy beds and great location.

    Horrible front desk staff, dirty cups and towels in room and disposable coffee cup lids had coffee all over them. Outdoor pool not even ready or open for the season at the end of June. Don't waste your money.

    We booked last minute and got stuck in a smoking room, and it really was a smoking room. A little febreze would go a long way. We heard others complaining down our hall as well. Oh well...Room was clean otherwise and very quiet.

    Very nice hotel. Set up for events mostly, but good for quick, overnight stays. One thing that surprised me was that there was no breakfast in the morning. They do have a restaurant in the hotel, but I was hoping for a free breakfast bar like you get at most hotels.

    This hotel is way overpriced. No way is it worth what we paid for a queen bed room! Our ceiling had a huge crack that had been filled in but still left us sleeping with one eye open as it was directly over the bed. Overall the hotel just had a gross feeling to it. Its old, and needs SEVERAL remodels. I would not stay here again...

    My entire familly was really pleased with these accomodations. Very clean, nice pool, nice small bar area off the lobby, a few activities like pool and ping-pong and video games. Rooms were comfotable and decent size (we had 2) . Just a very nice and clean place. Glad I made that choice.
