My daughter and I were on a shopping trip and we enjoyed a nice quiet time in the pool . . . we had the place to ourselves, even on a Saturday night! Nice place, would stay again, and it was close to our shopping.

The hotel was nice and easy to find. It was close to several restaurants a mall and the highway. We did have a bit of trouble with our heater but they were apologetic about it and changed us to another room. All in all it was a very positive stay. Breakfast was ok. Nothing is homemade but edible. It's nice to have lo-carb options.

My room's plumbing was poor. The water in the tub and the sinks drained too slowly, to the point that it could be unsanitary. Also, do NOT pull into the parking lot if you're pulling a trailer. The parking lot does NOT stretch all the way around, and there isn't enough room to back out a trailer if the lot is full, which it is for the most part. I recommend parking a rig with trailer across the street at the OfficeMax parking lot, where you have plenty of room to turn around if need be.

This place is a joke. Poor check in standards, non existent sound proofing, terrible beds, they expect you to pay $10.95 a far internet access, they hide charges all over (they "offered" a complementary bottle of water... for $4.00). I usually stay at Ameristar and will do whatever it takes to do so again. Never will I stay here again.

The smell of cigarette smoke is overwhelming when you walk in the front door. Even though we had a nonsmoking room we could still smell it like someone smoking right next door. The price was awfully expensive for the lack of amenities.

I thought it was just okay - we had a Christmas party at the Lakeside Grill that is why we picked this hotel - it was little pricey, we gambled spent $200.00 and never hit anything - that's real bad not sure we will gamble here again and too expensive to stay with no pool or bar to visit.

I was expecting more from Harrah's. For the size of the hotel and the money that casino's draw I would have thought they could have provided Wi-Fi free of charge. There was nowhere just to get a light snack. I thought the food at the grill was limited and expensive. The buffet was not open for breakfast.

Room needs a little sound proofing. The neighbors came in late and we could hear their conversation. Then in the morning the outside noise included staff getting ready for a concert. Noise was not pleasant. Other than that, stay was fine.

The room was great, every staff member I passed by greeted me sincerely, and the bed was very comfortable. Brunch buffet was very good wtih excellent array of choices.

the only thing about the room when I arrived was there was little hairs in the bathroom. I didn't want to complain about it. I did enjoy my stay though.

We arrived late night from plane trip. Had requested non-smoking room due to health issues. Desk person told us only non-smoking room was being held for another customer scheduled to arrive the next night. Didn't explain why they wouldn't let us stay in it, then move next day. Put us in smoking room that smelled like a huge ash tray. Next day they tried […] to deodorize it which didn't work, then moved us to a non-smoking room second night. Never got an explanation why we couldn't have the vacant non-smoking room the first night. Would have walked out had it not been prepaid. Read more

Looking for a hotel and casino? Try some of the newer ones in the area. Harrahs old and worn out. Although room remodeled not all of the furniture is new. You sink into the chairs and the bed is too soft.
