I stay in this area frequently for business trips. This hotel's best asset is its staff. The place has nice pool and comfortable rooms. The staff is amiable, professional, helpful and kind. The rooms were very well cleaned and the linens were impecable. This is not the best 3 star place in the area but overall nice place. Staff is very nice, has a nice indoor pool. Rooms and indoors feel a bit old but overall a nice place for business / family stay.

The hotel is amazingly beautiful! We enjoyed a very spacious king room with comfortable accomodations. I wouldn't waste money getting the breakfast package though, it doesn't cover all of breakfast & is not quality food. The woman serving us was rude & rushed as well. But overall it was a great night.

Arrived very late at night. Check-in was prompt and person there was good. The hotel lobby looks okay. But the rooms are really bad. I cannot believe this is a Holiday Inn. The AC unit cover was falling off so I had to prop it with a sofa. The bathroom was really unpleasant. There was a bar soap left in the bathroom. Molds were at the corners. Loud […] AC wasn't even an issue. At breakfast, the server initially told us that we need to pay for one kid. Then she told us to pay for two kids. (I was told the night before by the manager that kids eat free.) So, I mentioned to her what the manager told, she then says.. it is okay.. There aren't that many hotels around that area but still, Holiday Inn should do what they are supposed to do... Very disappointing. Read more

This hotel was exactly what I want in a night's stay: comfortable bed and bedding, spacious room, free wifi, a fantastic pool and whirlpool, and efficient and courteous staff. Since we're Priority members, we also received free breakfast and snacks, which is always welcome. Would be happy to stay here again in the future.

This was the best price I could find and was surprised to find the room had extras we don't usually get even for more money, like a fridge and microwave. The room was clean and attractive and very comfortable. We needed a room close to Gaithersburg Fairgrounds for the annual Doll Show and this was perfect. I give it 5 stars!

Cleanliness of room/hotel - Room cleanliness lacks attention to detail. It wasn't "dirty" but it didn't get all of the small places like vents and some light fixtures. It was neat in appearance. great, convenient location to DC, they accomodated us with a shuttle at the time we needed it .30 minutes from DC on the metro, no stress, great poeple who want you to feel like kings and queens. Would definitly go back to this hotel.

Was disappointed to arrive and find that the pool was closed until 7:00 pm for a "special event." So headed to the restaurant to find that it too was closed because the hotel was hosting two wedding receptions. Was told that we could get something to eat at the pub and wait until the pool opened. After 1 hour of placing our order, we still didn't have […] our sandwiches! Clearly the hotel caters to large events which draw in large $$ and they didn't have enough staff on hand.
